When my adult daughter takes her car in, they still call her dad with updates instead of her, but we can get that fixed. We appreciate the ability to drop a car off and leave the keys in the safe drop box. They're also realistic about when they will be able to work on a car, and what kinds of work they do. I still prefer my husband to handle all things car-related (Empowered AND old school?) But I know that when I need to, I can talk to the JC folks and they'll treat me fairly. I don't need to worry about being discriminated against because I'm a woman or ignorant about cars (even though I am both.) I read the review by Suzy G a few months ago. I'm was shocked that JC totally screwed up and caused such distress and expense for her. Yet, I respect that they owned up to their mistake publicly. That speaks volumes. The said they ran a pressure test, it was my head gasket(s), and would cost me $6000.00 to fix. I then took it to another mechanic who ran a pressure test that clearly showed it was just a water pump and it cost me under $500. So they either never ran a pressure test, and just made something up, or they have no idea what they are doing! Either way, I will NEVER give them another dime of my money.

Rich who I believe owns Budde Brothers has got my car running well when I needed it. Every time I take my car in to places like Car X, Firestone, or even another small business owner like Olympia Auto in St. Peters, I get inflated prices and unnecessary prescribed auto symptoms. Instead, Richard who's always kind and friendly, told me the truth about what my car really needed, and because of this, I ended up paying a whopping $510 less for Xmas. Well Merry X-mas Richard and company, because you are my families go to guy's. The other auto centers should've got some coal as far as I'm concerned. Just because of the money I saved and honesty he gave, I asked if he takes tips. He told me to put my money away because he wouldn't accept it. Once around the summer I noticed my seat belt not working. I took it into the dealer and they told me it would cost me $100 just for them to take a look at it. Later on that day, I called Rich, and he told me to bring it on in right away. He told me to wait one minute, took some DW-40, and fixed my seat belt completely by releasing the gook out of it. He charged me $10 instead of the easy $200 I would've probably paid at the dealer. Sometimes, he let's me bring in my own parts just to save money! I could go on and on, but I believe I've done enough justice. Please, I beg you, go to this place for your car service. Had Multiple issues on June 11th 2026. Seriously the worst service I have ever received…read more For starters they linked the car to the wrong account. I have used plaza countless times and have my own name and account but they linked it to the previous car owner. Second I scheduled an appointment online. When I arrived at 8am I told the employees my name and that I scheduled an appointment through the website I was told that those appointments don't mean anything and that there are 4 people ahead of me. I was told they would get my car back in 45min. Over 2 HOURS LATER at 10:48am they give me a call stating I need new front brakes so I agree to the additional service. At 2:51 pm I call to check on the status of my car and they tell me they just started on it a few minutes ago because they were waiting on the brakes to come in. Should have mentioned it would be a 4 hour wait over the phone. So finally at 4:59pm I get a call saying my car is ready to be picked up. Once I get my car picked up and head home I realize they lost my rear passenger hub cap. Mind you this is the second time plaza has lost one of my hubcaps. It's mind blowing it takes 7 hours to do an alignment tire rotation and change the front brakes. It cost me over $550 and I'm missing a hubcap. Seriously the worst service I have ever received I will never be back. Day 2 I go up to plaza first thing the next morning to talk to them in person about the missing hubcap. The assistant manager told me if I can find a cheap used one bring him the bill and he will pay it. Sorry but I will not be buying a used one. I feel as a business who just got over $500 from a customer the least you can do is replace the part you didn't put back on. I called the customer service line that was commented to me. I was told someone from their leadership team would call me in 24 - 48 hours. The 48 hours came and went no phone call. I then called back and was told I would receive a call the same day. That day came and went no phone call. So moral of the story plaza tire doesn't care about helping they only use the same copy and paste reply to show face. DO EVERYTHING YOU CAN TO AVOID PLAZA TIRE!!!
