Soo green! Oy vey! Food was great though

If you're a Seattle fan you'll love this place, as a Cardinals fan is a hard place to sit and eat. LOL Now the food was amazing! I got a Flatbread and it was delicious. I didn't really want the pineapple on it so that is the only thing I removed. I was delighted with it, the spice and the bread was just baked to perfection. It was neat that they were having a trivia night when we came in, I was visiting a friend I hadn't seen in a long time, so we didn't play, but it looks like fun for a future visit. I liked that they had so many windows open, it felt so cozy inside. We got good service too.

Stopped in for a bite and a brew; great service, great food and great beer! Don't pass up an opportunity to try over 40 brews on draft, 10 meads, and a super flavorful menu of shareables, flatbreads, sandwiches and sweet treats! We sat at the bar and had a great lunch - the whole place is comfy and inviting. Check it out if you're in Mesa!

We discovered this place during my search for a delicious clam chowder, and it did not disappoint! Coming from the Pacific Northwest, we've been spoiled with fresh seafood--there's nothing like eating crab fresh off the boat the same day it's caught. While we're a bit particular about seafood, we like to keep an open mind and have tried a variety of places, including some upscale Scottsdale restaurants. I must say, this spot has earned a top spot on our favorites list. The clam chowder in the bread bowl is incredibly satisfying and hearty. The portions are generous, so we usually share one--and it's more than enough. We also tried the Marionberry wings for the first time, and they are absolutely to die for. If you're unfamiliar with Marionberries, they're native to Oregon, and my family happens to own a berry farm that sells them. Needless to say, they were perfectly prepared and brought a unique, flavorful twist! In addition to the great food, there's a craft beer cooler and a large selection of beers on tap, offering something for every beer lover. I'm more of a wine drinker, and I was happy to see a decent selection available as well. Overall, this place delivers on quality, flavor, and a great dining experience. We'll definitely be back!

Had book marked this place as was really interested in trying their "Bang Bang" wings. Who doesn't love an ice cold beer and some hot chicken wings?! This is in a prime spot within a nice strip mall. Super close to an adjacent neighborhood community which is convenient for locals and regulars a like. We arrived about 5:00 PM Saturday evening. Wasn't to busy when we came in. Very inviting atmosphere. Large bar area and a nice open space with plenty of seating that included a cool focal point of a plush sofa centered in the middle of the room. Wicked Rain has a lot of options for beer. The establishment offers a rotating variety of 40 + Pacific Northwest & Arizona based craft beers. My husband decided on their: Great Notion Silence of the Jams and I had their College Street Dreamsicle. The jam was delicious and extremely unique. Fruited sour which is 7% ABV from Portland, OR. It was so good- we did a times 2! We also ordered wings. They looked nothing like what was pictured on their Yelp page. They came out grilled with not much sauce. Noticed they were fried, grilled and definitely could have been re-tossed! Unfortunately, the flats were overcooked dry and disappointing. The drums were a little better because they were bigger. Think we would have preferred them the way we originally saw them (saucy) and not the way we received them. There's a limited menu with flat breads a few different ways, but looking at the size for the price we decided to pass. Additionally, a couple of soups/ salads and apps. as well. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. The front of house was pretty pristine too! Service was average, would have been nice for the servers to be a little more engaging and attentive. This is a local owned business that supports local and seems to have a fair amount of business. They have happy hour M-F 3-6 PM and a reverse HH from 9-10:30 PM. Check the Wicked Rain webpage for featured events, live music venues and upcoming game nights too!

Used my Pub Pass and have to say this is a great hang out. A great vibe. The selection of craft beer/cider and mead is tasty. There is something for everyone. Service is awesome friend I brought was really impressed.

Attended for a fun Filipino Heritage Celebration event. Had the guys from Cafe86 out selling goods. DJ Psychopat bringing the Sunday vibes. Brew selections were plenty, a lot from the PNW region. Fun vibes, they have a couch chill area, board games, outdoor seating w/giant misters, open bar. Fun stop.

Trivia night....we failed epically. Trophies for participation.

One of the best places around the Gilbert/Mesa area! I tend to gravitate towards their wings, especially their bang bang sauce...a little spicy, tangy and sweet. Their fries are legit too. Their beer menu is always changing so you'll find yourself exploring more types of beers, and if you're super adventurous, try their flight and you'll get a option for a variety of beers to sample. Great patio seating when it's nice out and even pet friendly with a fire pit. Trivia nights, movie nights (summer time), guess the tune, and sports across their multiple large screen tvs, you'll have a great time at this place. Best place in town.

Large order of wings, 12 pieces: buffalo and bang bang. Very good!

Recommended by work friends, and since we lived and worked in the Seattle area. This place has A LOT of tap choices. And, an over expanded stock of can beer too. I had the nut brown ale on tap. With the smash burger. Will be returning if I'm back in the area.

    Wicked flatbread...spicy!

3.5 stars... Looking for a brew pub, and happened upon this joint. They don't make their own, but have many locals on tap! Started with a iipa and finished with a Pilsner, but there were so many other options! Chose the Wicked of Za... spicy, sweet, spicy, salty, spicy... it builds! Ambiance is industrial strip mall, service at the bar was friendly and helpful. And happy hour prices were good!

Cool PNW themed spot! Great variety of beer and cider options on tap. Would like to go back to try some of the other food options, but I recommend skipping the flatbread pizzas- it wasn't my fav.

    Flight!

What a fun discovery being from the PNW! Just wanted a beer and came across this place and was pleasantly surprised. All the good PNW breweries. Got a flight and definitely enjoyed the beer! There was some cozy seating which was nice. I didn't get any food this time but the food that came out looked delish! I will definitely be back for more beers and to try the food!

Food is good but don't come on a Seattle Seahawks game night if not a fan. StI'll waiting for food after 1 1/2 hours.

I recently met up with a friend at this place last Friday night -- my first time here and I have to…read moresay that the ambiance, the laid back environment was great. As I viewed the menu, the Tomatillo Chicken Tacos looked delicious so I ordered a couple. I took one bite and while that one bite was good and flavorful, the tacos were too spicy for me. I can't eat spicy or acidic foods because I have an ulcer that I have to be careful with. My server was the absolute best as he had asked for my honest opinion and got it, then offered me the opportunity to change out my food to something different, which was so appreciative. I ordered a burger to replace my tacos, which was also delicious (and without any spice). This place is fantastic for social interaction, dining, and/or just unwinding after a long day. It feels relaxing to just be in the moment when you are here. If you're looking for a cool vibes kind of brewery/restaurant, a good social scene that doesn't have drama with its customers, this is a place to go. Lastly, thank you to my awesome server that evening!

First it was very expensive, a burger and a small side of fries for over $23 after everything for a take out order. For smashed burger type, try Detroit corny grill in Gilbert. For a regular hatch burger with really good fries, try Fate brewing in Tempe.

Unfortunately, that's about where the positives end. If you're coming for the food or the service, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. We came in as a party of five a little after 9:00 PM and were told the kitchen closed at 10:00 PM. No problemo, we were ready to order right away. Instead, our server didn't return to take our order until around 9:20PM, despite nearby tables continuing to receive service. That was the first sign things weren't going well. I ordered the carne asada nachos specifically because the menu advertised them with queso instead of shredded cheese. I even mentioned to my group that was the reason I was ordering them. I also added a side of sweet potato waffle fries. About 25 minutes after we had already placed our order, the server came back and asked if I'd like a different meat. Like of course I don't want a different meat that's why I ordered carne asada. The server didn't say that they were out of carne asada, but I read between the lines and opted for ground beef cause really the queso is what makes the nachos. Also, I couldn't help wondering why it took 25 minutes to find that out. Then the food arrived. My nachos immediately looked different than expected. Instead of queso, they were covered with shredded cheese. Nothing was mentioned about being out of queso. I notice there was none. When I asked about it, the server casually said, "Oh yeah, we're out of queso too." Wait...what? So the restaurant was out of both the carne asada and the queso. The two main ingredients that made me order the dish in the first place. No one cared to mentioned either of those things when taking my order OR when coming back and asking if I wanted a different meat didn't also mention they were out of queso. Had I known, I would have ordered something completely different from the start. To the server's credit, she did let me order something else. Sucks for the kitchen because they were already closed. I ended up getting the sliders, but they were just as underwhelming as everything else. The food overall tasted like frozen products that had simply been reheated. Nothing tasted fresh, especially considering the prices. The biggest issue wasn't just the mediocre food, it was the lack of communication and straight lie when placing my food in front of me. If items are unavailable, tell customers before they order or at least when placing their food down, not after they've waited half an hour and not saying anything at all. Between the disappointing service, poor communication, and unforgettable food for all the wrong reasons, this place completely lost my trust. I'd honestly rather spend half the money at IHOP, where the food is more consistent and I'd know what to expect.
