Purchased 4 All Beef Chili dogs tonight. Not sure they were all beef, but 3 of the 4 were burnt. Completely black all the way around. The fourth one had more chili in the box than on the hot dog. The person on the drive thru window could not count the change back, and after 3 attempts to get the change, I gave up. Two of them together could not figure the change and I was shorted eight cents. It's not the eight cents as much as the inability to manage change. When you consider the cost of labor these days the employees should be able to do the bear minimum. While visiting this location on January 20th, I was trying to enjoy my meal when a man entered the restaurant and began speaking to the employees in a very loud and condescending manner regarding the number of hot dogs on the rack. His tone was aggressive, frustrating, and completely unprofessional. This interaction made me very uncomfortable as a customer, to the point where I could no longer enjoy my food and decided to leave. After the incident, I asked the employees who the individual was and was told he was the owner of the store. I normally do not leave reviews, but this experience was unacceptable. There is a time and place to address employee concerns, and doing so in a demeaning manner, in front of customers who are eating, is not appropriate. I ordered a number two. Expecting to get two corn dogs, fries and a drink. I then stated I would also like to add an Oreo shake, medium. The meal is listed at $7.80 and the shake at $4.39. When I was handed the shake I requested the cup for my drink that I was expecting with the meal. I was advised I was given the shake in place of the drink with the meal. I advised no, that's not what I ordered. I paid $11.41. When I advised I wanted the drink and the shake wasn't for the meal they argued with me. I wanted the drink and had to pay an additional $2.27 for the drink. I was disappointed as I knew how I placed my order and Found their attitude when I brought it to their attention very off putting. This is the American chili dog establishment. You can get a meal for under $9 I got the classic 2 chili dogs fries and drink. It cost $8.58 and I had my order before I could fill my drink cup. They had all the Pepsi products, ice tea and water. The menu has grown over the years. The feature real fruit added ice teas, polish sausage, chili fries and the new 100% angus beef dog that is 83 percent larger than the classic dog. They also offer soft serve ice cream for dessert in a few different options. I give 4 stars for not having wi-if it is 2019 not hard to offer customers that to have us stay and maybe get a chili-dog to go. I have many fond memories of the Wienerschnitzel experience. 3 chili and one corn dog when I was younger and had a higher metabolism. For National Hotdog Day I received an email for a special on Chili dogs which happens to be a favorite of mine at Wienerschnitzel for over half a Century and decided to go. I ordered four chili dogs with onions (my comfort food) and they were the best I've had in ages, and to celebrate they only cost $4! The staff was very polite and the wait was about right. What I was most impressed by was the chili dogs were freshly prepared and wrapped neatly, I didn't feel like they had been sitting under a heat lamp waiting for me. It's normally not a day that I celebrate but I'm glad I got the email! Based on this experience, chances are I'll celebrate more often. Great job team! read more

This place is a great location. The staff is very friendly and they always get my order right. The restaurant isn't large inside, but the line in the drive thru is never really long and it doesn't take very long to get in and out of here. It's located right off of the 15 fwy and it's usually open until midnight so it's really convenient for travelers going to and from the San Diego area.
