The cashier was friend and you can see the hard working employees making the food and taking food orders from the drive thru section. Over the years I have tried their chili burger, regular hot dog, chili dog and chili fries. Always HOT & TASTY! When I have a sweet tooth, I like to have their chocolate dip ice cream cones and other soft serve flavors that they offer. Chill Ambiance; outdoor seating ONLY! Drive thru, and a CUTE round table that you can seat. I like the colors of the building. Employees are very nice and helpful. I am more of a burger type of a girl, but their hot dogs never disappoint. Lots of parking spaces near by and is shared with Jon's Supermarket. Go get your dog, I mean HOT DOG, with your dog:-)! I love the architecture of the place, old school in the good way. The menu is no frills, hot dogs, a few choices. Nowadays they have veggie options. My husband likes their Chili Dogs, I go with the Kraut Dog or the Polish sandwich, it's something about that rye bread! Regular fries are just OK.Prices are decent, especially if you get a coupon. The corn dogs are so yummy-good. Really good. I usually get really amazing service here. The male worker that works the drive thru during lunch is on top of everything. He works his drive thru well and is very efficient with the things a customer purchases. Recently they had a new girl at the window and she's terrible. Really bad. Food was decent as always. Service was horrendous. I gave the cashier my EBT card and she charged me twice and then she said she didn't charge me and showed me a receipt that I have been declined. When I called she told me to come in and show her the statement which I did and she said just wait a minute I'll get the manager. I waited a few minutes and then she told me the manager wasn't there and wouldn't be there till tomorrow so she lied to me. Then she said just call your card and they should figure it out for you. Went here the other day for the FIRST TIME ever and was a little reluctant. BUT, it was actually great. I know this may be a stretch for some- but I actually think that it was better than Pink's hot dogs. I just hate the way the hot dogs snap there. Friend and I decided to try a bunch of things- chili cheese beef hot dog, the 6 piece mini corn dogs, and the chili cheese fries. The chili was actually tasty. They put the perfect amount on the hot dog. It wasn't too much to overpower the taste and it wasn't too little where you'd wish you had more. Sprinkle of cheese on top. Actual taste of the hot dog was good too. The corn dogs had a perfect crunch. Great size for dipping into the chili of the chili fries. Not too crunchy and not soggy at all. Chili fries were also great. Fries weren't soggy at all despite the mountain of chili on them. Make sure to get a medium or small drink as the large is literally a 2L bottle. Knocked a star off because all of this came out to $33, which was pretty crazy for a fast food. But, great first experience. I'll be back again. read more

The service was something that was highly questionable, and we were not even made aware that you can order 2 different kinds of hotdogs, but all beef were what we were served. And when the food was ready, there was no clarity of who's it was just a call of "your food is ready" when there were other guests waiting! And not even 20 minutes after we attempted to digest this disgust, we were running to the bathroom and canceling our plans for the next day. I haven't been to Weinershnitzel since there was a Der in front of it. I was craving a corn dog (I know, right? Lol) and saw they had a drive thru, so I pulled into the huge joined parking lot of Jon's Super market and for in line. I was surprised to see the prices weren't all that bad. They had daily deals. And a monthly special. And after all that, I went with a chili cheese dog. Not exactly what I remembered, and certainly didn't look like the photo (but do any of them ever look like the photo? ) I kind of wished I stuck with my original plan of a corn dog, But the chili dog was good. Not great. But good. The bun was soft and warm. The cheese was on the bottom which makes sense so it melts, and chili loaded up in the bun. The wrapping job could have been better, cuz when I opened it up there was chili all over the place... And it made it difficult to eat without making a huge mess. But other than that, I got it down without wearing it. The order taker was extremely pleasant and polite. Wow! At a fast food place. That's just crazy. There's outside tables to eat. And an outside window for walk ups. The menu is small, which I love. Just the basics.. done right. I'll probably try the all beef hot dog next time. The staff here isn't hygienic. Please train all employees about the importance of washing hands with soap and water as well as disinfecting surfaces and monitoring cross contamination from handling money and other surfaces not designated for food and staff members focusing on designated task. A person working as a cashier should not go back and forth between touching money and packaging food and a person taking a break handling food should not go directly to cooking after eating, smoking and touching their phones. It's unacceptable to do that without washing hands and not using gloves. This should really not only be common sense but common courtesy. read more

OMG!!! I had a craving for some chilly cheese fries so when my best friend who happens to also be gay and my roommate asked me if I wanted to go for a ride in the car and get some really unhealthy fast food. SO I said, wait wait wait, we mean the hot dog place right? They laughed and said yes. We jumped in my best friends impeccably kept BMW X5 still looks and smells brand new. They are both gay so I was shocked to learn they eat something other than protein shakes and all that health food. I am often told not to contaminate the fridge with junk food, now I understand... They lacked the control not to devour it. WE went to the drive through and got us some of the most amazing fries this side of the planet. Plus some chili cheese burthers and a few corn dogs and a soda. My friend asked why do you need a soda you are not drinking it in here and we have some in the fridge on the bottom shelf for you. I said, but those are diet and who drinks sugar free flavored seltzer. He said, listen it is the closest thing to soda I could bring myself to put on the grocery list for you. NOT COOL I said. Although on the way home, I by force of habit insterted the straw and took a tiny sip, and in doing so I spilled like a drip of my drink and after he kicked us out of his car are the curb still two houses down from where we lived he headed off for an ER detailing..
