Great Jersey Mike's location. Right at the corner of Lankershim and Camarillo street. The only reason I have them as a 4, not a 5 is the fact they are located on this busy intersection and the parking here is very tight and usually busy. But the store itself and the employees inside get a 5 in my book. Decor inside is your typical Jersey Mike's what you would expect and no surprises. Clean inside, although they could use with wiping down the tables a bit, but not too big of a deal. Went with my typical, #6 as a bowl Roast Beef, sub Swiss for provolone. Save a ton of sodium by not eating the bread and changing the cheese, a healthier option. I also usually have my own extra virgin olive oil and red wine vinegar. They have this I know, but their oil is a seed oil blend with olive oil, so again, me having my own, a bit more healthy. They really loaf up the bowl here, I always ask for extra lettuce, tomatoes and onions, no salt, add oregano and banana peppers. Very nice meal, although I do miss the rosemary Parmesan bread, love the bread! But my choice I guess. Enjoy!

One of the BEST jersey Mike sandwich's I've had in a while. Sometimes you just crave a perfectly stacked and not too wet type of sandwich! They were pretty busy, staffed looked tired but they made our sandwiches with care!!

Just an update that I saw the response to my review, contacted the business owner per their request, but never heard back. I had been willing to give them another try and my email was polite. However, since I never got a response it ended up just being a waste of my time. That was disrespectful. Why ask for someone to email you if you're not even going to reply?

I had a nearby errand and had a sandwich craving. I saw this location and decided to order through the app. It's so easy when you order beforehand and everything is ready when you get to the store. I can also specify that I have a wheat allergy. Jersey Mike's has the best sandwiches ever and good gluten-free bread. I go to many different Jersey Mike's locations and they're always consistently delicious but my sandwich today seemed extra tasty! So thank you to the person who took care to prepare it. I typically get a regular #9 Mike's way, of course and ask for mayo packets on the side to avoid any cross-contamination. I've also tried their gluten-free snickerdoodle, which is always a treat! Don't forget to sign up for their app because you will earn points and earn free sandwiches!!

This place is awesome! The food is always so good, and the ingredients are always so fresh. The service is good and they always make sure that your sandwich is fire! 10/10 would eat again.

Our job decided to do an order pick up Trisha from Jersey mikes! I ordered the club supreme which consists of Roast beef, turkey, Swiss, apple wood smoked bacon and mayo! The place is really organized was able to run in and grab the orders and go! This sandwich was Soo good. The bread was fresh and not stale or soggy which can happen sometimes. I highly recommend coming here for lunch

First time at this location and will definitely be my last. There was a homeless man in the store touching all over the counters and tables. That already made for an unpleasant and unsanitary experience so instead of eating there we got the food to go. When we arrived home and took the sandwich out the bag it dropped directly onto the floor. The sandwich was NOT wrapped up! There was no sticker or rubber band to prevent this mess. Proof of photo provided. You can also see the sandwich was not even completely cut! Almost $30 wasted on the floor. Beyond pissed is an understatement.

Good service. Long line that moved quickly. Efficient and careful. I had a mini vegetable on white and my friend had the regular Italian bread with everything. We both did it Mike's Way, which was delicious with the Italian sauce of oil and vinegar and some lettuce and tomato. Reasonably priced and a perfect Saturday afternoon picnic style lunch.

Tuna on wheat with Provolone.... Definitely hit the spot!

Good stuff. Had tuna on wheat with provolone cheese and the fixins! Staff was nice and helpful....

You better watch out Subway. Jersey Mike's is off the charts. So good, and yes we have it Mike's way... add pickles, peppers and mayo. Love how they cut the meats and cheeses fresh. We're addicted.

This store locks quality customer service. They don't listen. They're too busy not being very effective. The vegetables on the giant 17 are not fresh. There's big chunks of it once you put a bite into it. It makes you choke the second time it's happened. This is ridiculous. Who is doing quality control I spent $25 for a sandwich and I'm unhappy.

I was feeling hungry, craving a sandwich, and have no food at home. My options were to either go to…read morethe store, or to look up a good sandwich on Yelp! I'm sure you can guess which option I went for! I was surprised to find Roma Deli on the list as I had never realized it was so close-by from my usual morning start. Parking seems to be street parking but there was also a lot right next to the restaurant and I couldn't tell if it was for the Deli or not but I felt intimidated by someone who was standing in the lot staring at everyone that drove in so I parked on the street. On entering I was surprised that the restaurant is so spacious and smells so good inside. I was greeted by friendly staff and I spent quite a while admiring the large menu before making my choices. I decided that instead of going to the grocery store I would get a few sandwiches to take home and eat for a couple days so I can avoid the store a little longer lol. I ordered the Honey Turkey Sandwich, the Italian Combo sandwich which says it's one of their signature sandwiches, and the Roma's Special sandwich. I also ordered a size small Zucchini sticks. While I waited I noticed that the staff is so friendly that they even strike up conversations with guests about different topics and it looks like they have allot of regulars coming and going. I don't feel like I waited too long for my food, I browsed a little along the walls and sat for a little relaxing and before I knew it my number was being called. I paid and took the food with me and I could feel steam rising out of the bag, that's how fresh the zucchini was. I did not get to take a photo of the zucchini because I ate it the whole way home, and let me tell you that was the most generous size small portion I've ever seen. I love zucchini and these were lightly breaded and nice thick but well cooked cuts of zucchini. When I got home I decided to eat the Honey Turkey Sandwich first, I thought I'm just going to eat half and then put the rest away, but it was so delicious I ended up eating the full sandwich. The bread is a nice soft white roll, and the sandwich is bursting to the brim with all the ingredients. This deli is awesome, it reminds me of delis you see in the movies where everyone knows your name, and the food is so delicious. Now that I have discovered Roma Deli you know I'll be back, I need to try their paninis next!

I am incredibly fortunate to have gotten off the Uber Eats path and ordered directly from Roma Deli and it was a lot cheaper as well. "Grandma's Hands" sums up the comfort many of us associate with Grandma's cooking. The owners and employees are doing a five-star job at forwarding that kind of comfort to the community and customers here. First of all, everything is freaking deliciousness! Admire the always-on-point "People Love Us On Yelp" sign as you arrive. The free parking lot offers nice and ample parking spaces for disabled customers as well as tables upon arrival which can comfortably accommodate wheelchairs. Now don't get me wrong, I love fancy gastronomy featuring tres Nouveau French culinary techniques just like you but I absolutely ADORE borscht, stuffed cabbage and plav equally. (Even more sometimes!) I've been shopping here and picking up takeout here for a long time. My experiences have only been better over the years. The discounts can be incredible and I appreciate sale-priced groceries in today's economy as well as the opportunity to support local and international farms. Sunflower seeds, sunflower oil, low sugar and no sugar added cookies, pastries and cakes, caviar, dried fish, pickled Herring, perfectly ripe berries, smoked fish, halva, cheese spread, jams, and artisan teas, all five stars. But wait. Is it a Russian-American market where I find the most Ukrainian imported groceries and ways to support Ukrainian farming?! Yep! +Heart hands emoji+ This market does a great job of offering a nice seat and friendly conversation to the average dine-in customer. Stop by to sip on an imported pear juice. Try a bite of fresh cream cheese cake with berries. Ask for advice! Go for the Beef Plav which is an employee favorite. The Beef Plav here contains a generous amount of tender, lean beef with carrots, savory buttery rice and whole softly roasted garlic cloves. Yum! (Five stars!) I've found some especially healthy and nutritious food here for my health recovery goals recently. About six years ago, I had been exposed to high levels of radiation according to a good old fashioned Geiger counter. My health began to drastically decline and I became very weak. While we were waiting, my mom suddenly became very hungry. Both she and I tend to get low blood sugar, so when hunger hits, we usually need to eat something right away. Since the car was being washed, we looked around for a place within walking distance and happened to discover this small Italian deli nearby. They offered sandwiches and pasta dishes. Since both my mom and I love pasta, we decided to have lunch here. We ordered spaghetti with marinara sauce (no meat). When ordering, we were asked whether we wanted penne or spaghetti, and we chose spaghetti. My brother ordered the Eggplant Lasagna. Both dishes came with garlic bread, and the garlic bread was absolutely delicious. The spaghetti was so good, and the Eggplant Lasagna was equally tasty. The restaurant itself was very small, but it felt like discovering a hidden gem. I noticed photos of Hollywood stars displayed on the walls and wondered if they were pictures of celebrities who had visited the restaurant over the years. According to the information displayed inside, the restaurant has been operating since 1971, which explains why it feels like such a long-standing neighborhood favorite. The staff members were all very friendly, and I left an additional cash tip. My mom kindly treated us to lunch today using her credit card, and I am very grateful. There were, however, two downsides to our visit. First, I used the restroom and noticed that it had a bad smell there. Second, after checking in on Yelp, I noticed that the restaurant's posted closing time was 3:00 PM. We arrived around 2:30 PM for a late lunch. My brother was delayed because he had to pick up the car from the car wash and didn't arrive until around 2:45 PM. While we were still eating, one of the staff began putting chairs up and cleaning the dining room. By 3:00 PM, it felt as though they were waiting for customers to leave. The front door was left open, and the atmosphere made us feel somewhat rushed. I asked one of the staff members what time they closed, and he confirmed that they closed at 3:00 PM. We quickly packed up our remaining garlic bread to go and left shortly afterward. On a positive note, when I asked for a to-go box, they were very friendly and carefully packed everything for us. Overall, the food was delicious, and the staff was kind. However, I didn't particularly enjoy having the chairs put away and the dining room cleaned while customers were still eating. It would have been nicer if someone had simply let us know that the restaurant closed at 3:00 PM. We would have gladly finished up and left on our own. Despite that issue, I still enjoyed the food very much and was happy to discover this hidden neighborhood gem. I love Italian food, and I've dined at many upscale Italian restaurants with elegant atmospheres over the years. While this place is small and simple, the food was truly excellent and full of flavor.

Anyway, here's what I ordered: BASTURMA BRISKET - $29 Hand Carved Basturma Brisket, Pickled Persian Cucumber, Chaman Spread, and Swiss Cheese. Served in freshly baked pita bread. I know, what kind of sandwich costs nearly $30!? But let me tell you, you are getting both quality and quantity in this bad boy. This reads 2 people, and those 2 will enjoy this thoroughly. Yes, it's a bit on the saltier side, but that's why you have the cucumber to balance it out a bit and the warm and soft pita bread. The brisket was tender and I loved the spread (which you can buy!). It's such a unique take on the common pastrami sandwich. So remember: 1. Order online (no phone calls) 2. Park in the back 3. CALL THEM, letting you know you have arrived. 4. Enter through the big doors (its unlocked) 5. Wait for them to come out to retrieve order. 6. Enjoy!

Having heard about this place for years, when it was a backyard operation, I was excited to give it…read morea try. I placed my order online and headed to their ghost kitchen to pick it up. I ordered the Basturma Brisket Sandwich which is their most popular item. I am a big fan of both Basturma and Brisket so this sounded like a match made in heaven. And I was right!!! This sandwich was epic!! The meat was tender and smoky. The spices were perfectly balanced. It had a delicious Chaman Spread, a slice of Swiss cheese and housemade pickled Persian cucumbers. The acidity of the pickles helped to balance out the rich meat. It all came together like magic. The sandwich is quite large, which justifies the $29 price. I only ate half and saved the rest for later. It was just as good cold as it was hot. I can't wait for my friends to try it. They will love it!! Great job III Mas!
