Supposedly Pastrami dog but looks like a sad dog.

I heard they brought back the Pastrami so I had to try the Pastrami Dog. Lucky I'm not allergic to mediocrity because I was instead given two dogs that were more naked than a newborn. Lesson learned - check your bag before you leave because even Wienerschnitzel employees can get a case of the Mondays.

Meatball sandwich. Good amount of sauce. Really fresh bun. But not what I hoped for in a meatball sandwich.

I normally love a Wienerschnitzel chili dog, so I was curious about their new meatball sandwich. Service was fast and friendly. (This location is Tustin is one of their best!) The restaurant seating was clean and appropriate for a fast food restaurant. But the sandwich was just three meatballs with two slices of cheese popped on a hot dog bun. The sauce quantity was adequate and the flavor typical of spaghetti sauce, but all in all, the sandwich was disappointing. The flavor was so-so, the cheese not melted, the bun not toasted. I don't expect the flavor of a good Italian joint, but their sandwich was pretty disappointing and I just wanted to share that. I still enjoy the chili dogs and I should stick with that!

So called "chocolate brownie sundae" half filled slopped on chocolate syrup and a few brownie bites, definitely not worth $5

Watch these guys, when you order they ask you medium or large like its your only two options. I hate places that trick you into upgrades.

The first thing I noticed was the line. It looked pretty long, but the staff moved through customers incredibly fast. That's usually a good sign that a place is worth the wait, and it definitely was. Don't let the line discourage you--it goes by quickly. The sandwiches are generously loaded with fillings, and the bread is made fresh in-house. I even saw several people leaving with loaves of bread, which says a lot about the quality. I ordered the grilled pork bánh mì, and it was excellent. The vegetables were fresh, the pork was flavorful, and everything came together perfectly. You can also watch the staff prepare the sandwiches through a large glass window, which adds to the experience and lets you see the care that goes into each order. It's easy to see why this has become a local favorite. I also ordered a Vietnamese coffee, and it was fantastic. It was rich, bold, and exactly what I was hoping for. If you're looking for an authentic bánh mì and a great Vietnamese coffee, THH Sandwiches is absolutely worth the visit. I'll definitely be back.

The bread was delicious, it had a nice crispiness but was still soft when you bit into it. We also got the grilled pork vermicelli salad with egg rolls. The egg rolls were really good and crispy, especially with the fish sauce. I'm not a big mint person, but I actually felt like it made the salad really refreshing. The pork was again lacking a little flavor, so I wish it had been marinated a little more. Overall, the total for two grilled pork sandwiches and the vermicelli salad came out to $26, which is a steal!

This place is such a mystery. How could someplace so…read moreunattractive and run down produce the very best bakery items in Orange County? The old adage "You can't judge a book by its cover," is true here. This place looks forgotten, ignored, unassuming, but produces the finest bakery items in Orange County. You enter and have to immediately get into a line. Inside, it is like a aged cafeteria of your childhood. You have to wait for a young lady who can't even look over the top of the counter because there is so much stuff piled high. She stands on tip toes to see you and you have to shout at her and point what you want. The problem is when she sees you, you are near the cash register, so you must say excuse me and walk in front of a line of people to point and shout out what you want. It is so poorly designed and complicated to order. We all endure because like the Soup Nazi on Seinfeld, the product is worth it. They sell the world's best Olive bread, scones, and strawberry crossants. If you survive the line, you make it to the cash register, pay, get a bag and leave. There is no where to sit. There is no internet. They shuffle you through and on to the next one. The pastry items are incredible and worth the trouble.

Absolutely phenomenal. Great flavor. The whipped cream is slightly too sweet but amazing otherwise. Love the red bean in here. There's a good mix of textures. Feels light thanks to the cream. Cream puff: 6/10. Was disappointed by this to be honest. Other pastries I've tried like the one in the photo are just okay. Nothing stand out. Customer service isn't great. Someone cut in front of me and they didn't care. Free parking and plenty of it since it's a large plaza.

Their refrigerated section had a beautiful selection, and I grabbed the potato gnocchi and fettuccine right away. As I explored the store, I kept finding more things I wanted to buy. It may look small, but there it's lots to see and buy. They have an incredible variety of pastas, oils, pastries, and specialty Italian ingredients. There's also a deli that makes sandwiches, and the staff member helping me was so friendly and patient. I didn't know what to choose, so they recommended their most popular item: the Great Grandpa Joe sandwich. I ordered the large to share, and let me tell you... it was the best sandwich I've ever had. Delicious, generous, and absolutely worth recommending. One thing to note: there's plenty of parking, but my phone directions took me to the back of the store instead of the front -- a little odd, but easy to fix once you know. Overall, the staff is friendly, helpful, and the whole place feels like a gem. I'll definitely be back.

The bread was my only complaint. I was told they've changed it over the last couple of months, and I think the sandwich would be even better with the old bread. One tip: if you're coming on a Sunday, get there before the church crowd. We ended up waiting about an hour before being served. The wait was made a little better because the staff came around with free deli meat samples for everyone waiting in line, which was a nice touch. Overall, a very good sandwich, and I'd definitely come back--just a little earlier next time!
