Came back after awhile. Last time I got the pasta. Not this time. This place thrives on amazing wings and pizza. It's incredible. The calzones are awesome as well. I can now give this restaurant five stars - but they need to get rid of the extra ridiculous charges. They now CHARGE YOU TO USE A CREDIT CARD! Like you're being punished for dining with them!! I am 100% against any restaurant doing this. Accepting credit cards is a business expense and not something the customer should be punished with. That being said, pay cash if you eat here to avoid it. It is insane to pay sales tax, then city tax, then tip, then a fee for paying just to consume food. read more

I was traveling through on a business trip and saw the good reviews and wanted to check them out as Greer is a cool town. There is limited parking next to their restaurant and more parking on the street. There is ample outdoor seating available and there is a full bar inside and seating inside as well. There are a ton of TVs to watch your favorite sports. I sat at the bar and was greeted and provided a beer and food menu. They have a ton of local and national drafts and they have a pretty impressive craft bottle selection too. I ordered the philly cheese steak with tater tots and it was really good. I have a garlic allergy and they made sure that the meal did not have any garlic. The whole meal was really reasonably priced. I would recommend going again as there were a few other items on the menu I would try. read more

THE CALZONE looked delicious but there is where it ended.Diced ham you get at walmart in meat section to add to salad,I have bought these I know what am talking about lol.. No extra cheese I paid for.Paid for extra sauces did not get,I love my sauces,I ask for them,do not care to pay extra for what I want,I can not eat without sauces,yes I know that is crazy my hubby tells me.But I pay extra for these and do not get them.The wings are sad looking, asked for extra crispy reaper. We've been coming to Wild Ace since we moved here in 2019 from New England. This place has the best pizza around and believe me we've tried most of the places in the area. The staff are great, especially Sergio and Holden at the bar. Always welcoming. The food is great, and we love the outdoor patio. Coming from the New England climate, we love being able to sit outside as early as March. Highly recommend Wild Ace if you like friendly pubs with lots of beer choices and great food and staff. read more

My coworkers and I are frequent customers here weekly. We sit in Melissa's section every week. She is amazing and hands down the best server. Always refilling our drinks and making sure we have everything we need. However, today when we were in, the kitchen was way too slow. We received our food in a timely manner but waited for over 30 minutes for a to go order which was unacceptable. We were there for close to an hour and a half. This made us late to work. The food was good as always. Please do better on your kitchen staff and not make customers wait so long. read more

This place is pretty cool. My friends and I came here for brunch on a Sunday. I ended up ordering the low country eggs benedict and a side of hashbrowns, which were absolutely delish! I was totally down for bottomless mimosas and bloody marys until I saw they were $14.00 and to me, that's a lil bit too pricey. Our server was very sweet, but when the time came for us to pay our bill, it took her a while to get back to us. I plan on coming back for lunch next time I'm around to try their meatball sub because I've heard it's delicious. The only thing worse than no vegan items is absolutely butchering an item. Ordered a build your own pizza. I was told I would have to use the GF crust. The pizza came out barely lukewarm with the cheese not even starting to melt and the vegetables still cold from the fridge. I sent it back and asked if they could at least warm it up. It came back in the exact same state. Managed to choke down some of it as I was miserably hungry. I was originally planning to get some Italian food, but had a last minute change and decided to try this place...I should've had my Italian meal instead. I ordered delivery, and the food that I ordered were subpar at best - the custom slice pizza was completely cold (to the point that the cheese on the pizza is pretty much solidified in a giant clump); the garlic cheese bread looked ok at first glance, but was completely greasy on the bottom, and the cheese did not taste like any cheese I've ever had in my life...again, it was in a large solidified clump on top of the bread and not savory to my taste buds; the lemon pepper wings was the only dish I ate more than half of, but again, it was only average. Unless a friend is treating me, I probably won't be giving this place another try with my money. read more

They got my order right, but the food was really disappointing. We got two kinds of wings and a calzone. The actual wings were mediocre. The teriyaki sauce had a funny taste. We had no wait time for a party of 4 adults, 2 kids, 1 toddler and 1 baby, which was great for a Saturday evening. TVs everywhere and high noise level of course since it is a sports bar. The service was good and not overbearing. We had the Bavarian pretzel for an appetizer, but it was way over-salted and not cooked right; a true pretzel should be dark brown and crispy on the outside. Hubby ordered the philly cheesesteak and I boneless teriyaki wings. I very rarely order wings and I was a fan of them and would like to try other flavors. Unfortunately, the cheesesteak had more green peppers than steak in it, which was a shame. A plus is that the ladies bathroom is spacious enough to not feel crammed when changing a baby. Wednesday night. 45-minute wait to be seated even when there were at least six open tables. Reason given for the delay in being seated? "We are fully staffed, but our servers are busy." Additionally, the seating order prescribed by their reservation app was not followed. Once we were seated, the service was below standard: food (wings and a salad) were late, no silverware provided until asked, no extra napkins provided, no water/tea refills until asked. The only manager seen was on the floor gabbing with his buddies. Used to be a fun place to go, but no more. I am really disappointed in this place. The food has always been just okay, but based on my last experience, the service is also shocking. The hours say they close at 11pm. Now, I have worked in several restaurants and to me that means you can order food up until 11pm. I get it, coming in at 10:55pm and asking for food is a bit of a jerk move, but I arrived in at 10:30pm after a particularly rough day looking for a cold beer and a slice of pizza. I sat at the top of the bar, clearly a new customer. I could see the bartender glance over at me about twice but she never approached. I had to wave at her to get her attention. When I asked about food, she told me the kitchen was closed. It's 10:30pm. If your hours state that your kitchen closes at a certain time, then that's okay. However if there's nothing listed, then it's expected your kitchen would stay open until 11pm. Also, the bar was full. If the place was empty, I would totally get it but there were still people outside on the patio. Disappointing experience and for that reason alone, you clearly don't need the business so I'll go elsewhere. read more

This is a little hidden gem in Greer. The pizza here isn't too bad and the burgers are pretty good too. Just wish the burgers were cooked a little less cause they are a little dry. Prices are great during lunch and on certain days like Tuesdays where 2 slices are 2 dollars for both. These slices are huge too and not little baby ones. Went to Wild Ace last Friday night ( June 19th) with a friend, and we sat on patio. Patio was packed and the weather was nice. As we sat down, there was a man and his wife sitting near us, and this man was very very drunk, loud, and cussing continuously! This went on for at least an hour, and several Ace employees were working the patio, and not one employee says anything to this man. Management should have came out and made him leave or shut up! I get it, it's a bar and people having a good time, but this made ur miserable, and they were kids on the patio, and finally a man that brought a kid out, said something to him, but it didn't really help. Now to the food, my last 3 times, I have the wings, and they are awful! Out of 12 wings, 5 or 6 were edible, the others were over cooked, dry and crunchy. Service was great. read more
