It's always a pleasure to dine at a family-owned restaurant. The space is clean, with well-spaced tables that make for a comfortable experience. The service was friendly and efficient, and the ambiance has the welcoming charm you'd expect from a cozy, family-run café. Our meals were well prepared and served in generous portions. Dishes are fairly priced. We also learned about their all-you-can-eat fish fry on Friday nights, something I'm definitely looking forward to trying soon.

Great prices for quality food!! I took my son for a valentines date and we loved the laid back country atmosphere. The cappuccino was delicious. I got the Denver omelet, my son got half waffle. It was all really good and service was great!

Such a great breakfast spot!! I got a breakfast burrito with hashbrowns and it was delicious! Everyone else that I was with also very much enjoyed their food. The prices were super affordable - my husband and I got our food for about $20, which never happens when we go out anymore! The service was great - the waitress was attentive to whatever we needed and our food came out super quickly. The diner is quite homey on the inside. I would definitely go back!

A place a frequent every now and then. Good hometown cooking that takes you back decades. Waffles done right and steak and eggs back on the seasonal menu. Very tender and tasty. Thank You Christina's Wildberry Diner! Thanks for the great experience.

    Senior special, delicious!

Been wanting to try this place for some time. Running pre Xmas errands in the area, so stopped by for late breakfast. Wife ordered a senior special, eggs, sausage, and 1/2 a waffle. Waffle crispy, eggs perfect, and delicious fat sausages. I had the chicken fried steak. Came with eggs, hash browns, and a pancake. Eggs were a little overdone. CFS was good, hash browns needed help. Unevenly cooked, not crispy. Nothing terrible but I've had better. Prices are reasonable, service was fine. Place seemed clean and pleasant.

This is our second visit to Wild Berry Diner. This time we invited a couple with whom we're good friends with and they thoroughly enjoyed their breakfasts as did we. Met Christina the owner This morning as she greeted and seated us in Christina's (our favorite server) area. Today, I tried the Turkey Club w/ fries and was not disappointed! Outstanding meal! Many thanks to our new friends at Wild Berry Diner for another great experience!

7/18/24 - I cannot say it was a pleasant enough experience for us to take the drive again from So. Phoenix. I knew how far away it was, but had been here before years ago and remember it being very good. Not so this second visit; maybe they have new owners/cooks. I will say that for the price, the portions are very large. Plus it has a cozy country feel to it. But we will not return for a third visit. Longer version: I specifically remember their cinnamon rolls were spectacular. This time, however, it was more dense than I remember, as well as a bit flat -- plus we were finished with our meals before it was ever delivered to our table. We kept trying to catch our server's attention but were unable to do so until we had already packed our meals away in the take-home boxes we brought . I guess when she saw the empty table she figured it was time to return to our table -- at which time we asked about the cinnamon roll. It was not overly crowded but there also did not seem to be too many wait staff in attendance. The biscuits looked like they came from a tube, and were a bit too dry for my tastes. I ordered the Hawaiian omelet and it was a bit lacking in flavor. Maybe I am simply used to Hawaiian pizzas (ha ha!) but I think the omelet needed a bit more flavor to it.

Oct 1, 2024 I took my daughter for her 21st birthday to breakfast at Christina's Wildberry Diner. Our first visit there. Food was great and Prices were very reasonable! I ordered the Christina's Skillet ($12) which I Loved. 2 Eggs over Medium, were cooked great, lay atop hashbrowns, spiniach, mushrooms, onions, peppers, tomatoes and cheese and came with toast. I also ordered a Large Cranberry Juice ($3) I was very happy with my meal! My daughter had an Egg plate ($12) Which was 2 Eggs, hashbrowns, toast and 6 Sausages. Both of our meals came with a Cinnamon Berry type Jam, was good but very strong on the cinnamon, a little too strong in my opinion. We had so much foid neither of us could finish and leftovers for another meal.

What a cute spot! It's right in a neighborhood in the same parking as a strip mall so you could miss it. The food is classic diner, serving breakfast and lunch. The service was quick and friendly. I got the pancakes combo with eggs and bacon. Their pancakes are legit! Quite thick and buttery. Also great price for the amount of food you get. I wouldn't necessarily recommend this place for big parties as the space isn't huge, but great for families and any fan of diner food.

Club Sandwich, husband said it was excellent!

I want to start by saying our server was great, the atmosphere was nice, and our food came out quickly, which we appreciated. We had only taken a couple bites of our meals when my boys needed to use the bathroom. I took them, and intentionally left my purse at the table so it was clear we hadn't left. When we came back, our entire meal had been cleared from the table. It was incredibly frustrating, especially with hungry little kids. The manager came over and apologized and offered to remake the food, but at that point my kids were hungry, upset, and honestly I was too. I just wanted to leave. I asked if they could comp the meal because this was entirely due to their mistake. The manager then said we should still pay 50% of the bill, which was honestly shocking. Paying half for food we barely ate because it was taken by mistake felt completely unreasonable. After I pushed back, they did end up comping the meal. Mistakes happen, and I understand that. What made this experience especially disappointing was the manager's lack of empathy and apology--especially as a mom trying to manage dinner with little kids. It turned what started as a pleasant dinner into a very stressful and upsetting experience.

But I can judge simply food or filet a trout or chicken and add a homemade beurre blanc sauce. I like simple red wine but relish a Camus anniversary bottle. We eat at hole in the walls and expensive places. But often we look at each other and choose between Dennys or VI, and are happy! Today, May 16th at VI on Signal Butte - rough start by a waitress who told both of us "I need to know your pie order. NOW." Resturant was not busy. Not at all. It was 4:15 maybe. Slow on a SUNDAY post-winter visitor rush on a late Spring day. Rushed. I pointed to my 3-6pm dinner choice of TURKEY. I showed her. "Just as it comes. She repeated it back to me as she typed in into her handheld computer. Chicken fried steak arrived. And a sausage looking oval patty shape of stuffing. Two long finger prints in it. I wondered if she picked up my loose stuffing as it's normally served here in America, or rather the chef did this to all who request it. I told my husband to look for spit in his food. My hubby? Nicest guy ever. But when he knows I didn't want and could not manage fried beef..but I had fasted 21 hours. I needed sliced fresh high protein meat. Wait another 15 min or eat the mess on my plate? I told her I'd eat it. Truly don't like complaining let alone confrontation with a Russian native with a sharp attitude because of a rough life. My nephew is from there so I GET the trauma. and I though I know I can usually switch my palate. But not for this plate of food. I felt sick looking at it. "Just eat the 'steak' I picked the stuffing apart - could not eat more than a thimble. Gummy gluten salty yuck was inedible. The FINGERPRINTS! 2 Fingertips past knuckles imprinted. I left it and hope someone there stopped to think "Why?" Our Waitress tried to make up by suddendly being nice when she walked behind me with a second piece of pie ...to go home. Thanked me for being agreeable or something. I nodded. I remember this saying if you l oh someone's attention the first three seconds and first three steps you'll spend the next 30 min trying to make them believe you're hiring. It's true. I was too tired this week to be extremely understanding but I'm never rude. I told my hubby let's both let this one go. And I said "But we won't return here." He nodded in agreement. Because I see people come in and sit down I see how tired they are and make quick calls to be able to turn their day around if only for a short time before they return home....to being a caregiver or to grieve a loss. Just 2 minutes from the ALB airport, this spot hits exactly how you need it to hit when you're either coming off a flight or heading into one: easy, classic, no-frills comfort. I went with the corned beef hash + pancakes breakfast, and it delivered that old-school diner energy. The hash was hearty and filling, eggs cooked just right, and the pancakes? Soft, golden, and exactly what you expect--nothing fancy, just solid. But let's be clear... the real reason you come here is the pie. Village Inn doesn't play about their pies, and the banana cream pie is the headline act.
