I checked this place out years ago but had already eaten elsewhere so I didn't have a meal. I always wanted to come back. I was accompanying my neighbor to have some X-rays done and we went here on my recommendation for lunch. Great choice! She got a roast beef sandwich, Midwestern Style, covered in brown gravy. I got Roast Pork off the specials board with mashed potatoes, brown gravy, and vegetables. The pork was very tender and delicious and they gave me a good amount. The mashed potatoes were super smooth like they might have been made from a mix but had decent flavor. If they were home made they must have pureed the heck out of them to make them that smooth. The vegetables were your usual Diner vegetables, peas and carrots on the mushy side. There was pita bread on the side and it had great flavor and texture. That made me wonder if their Greek food might be good since they know how to do the pita bread right. I also had a cup of soup with dinner that was definitely homemade split pea soup, some of the best I've ever eaten. The service was perfect, just enough attention and water refills without feeling hovered over. I felt that we had a great meal for a good price. I couldn't finish it and brought some home that I had for dinner. I had no room for dessert. I'd love to go back there and maybe just get dessert and coffee sometime so I could enjoy the dessert and not be too full for it. So we tried this place again & according to Lexi you cannot get anything without onions. If I wanted to order something without onions you can't because it is mixed, like the skillet, veggie omelet , Denver omelet etc, basically anything with onion & peppers mix. so for anyone that is allergic to onions or doesn't like them not the place. I ended up ordering French toast combo and ironically it had a few stray onions on the plate, & it was disgusting all you can taste was the glob of butter. My husband's dish was mediocre also. We checked out this place on a Sunday morning around 11 - I find this to be one of the worst times in terms of waiting to be seated (it always seems like an hour anywhere) but we were pleasantly surprised to be taken to our seats after ten minutes or so of waiting. The place definitely has a quaint, diner atmosphere - "live, love, laugh" signs and vases that remind you of someone's kitchen (but in a welcoming way) and all of the condiments permanently housed on the side (they even had orange marmalade!). I drank a decaf coffee and I was impressed by the flavor - it was extremely smooth and lacked the acidity that tends to follow a lot of coffee. The waitress was warm and friendly and we were frequently taken care of and never had to ask for a refill. The food took a while to get out but that wasn't a problem because it was such quality, delicious food. The Polish sausage I ordered was perfectly pan-seared and not greasy. The biscuit was more of a roll (you know I threw that orange marmalade on it!) and I loved this--you could tell it was freshly baked. I also ordered tomato slices, which were the perfect temperature for me (cool but not super chilled). It was super affordable too, both of our meals were around $9.00 (and this was a full meal). I would like to start by saying the food was great as well as the prices and services from Carolyn, our server. There were some serious concerns, however, which I wanted others to know about so they could make the best decision possible for their family/party before walking into this restaurant. We noticed several times that our server had her face mask under her chin and not covering her nose and mouth as recommended. There were 2 servers as well as the hostess who wore their masks the entire time we were in the restaurant, but Carolyn and another server (had her upper lip pierced on one side) were constantly removing the masks below the chins. Additionally neither of the cooks were wearing gloves or masks, which is also a concern when handling food, primarily during the COVID. No social distancing between the tables (there were 4 tables and 6 booths in the area where we were seated. The person in the chair behind me was so close that there is no way anyone could have walked between us. We want to continue to support restaurants, but also want to feel comfortable and "safe" while eating out. I am not saying that we will not give them another try, but definitely not for awhile. read more

Esos excited to try this place out and it was our first time here. Ordered one of their specials and the sauce was cold and the avocado was more of a guacamole and it was brown and tasted a bit fermented. The potatoes also tasted like they were starting to rot. Fourth time eating here. Liked it the first three times but this last dinner visit was abysmal. Fish was half the size I had here last month & seemed to be frozen beforehand.. Clam chowder was too thick & tasted more of bacon than clams. Wife's mashed potatoes were soupy & tasted bad. Doubt they were real potatoes. She stopped eating it after one taste. Sweet potato fries were good. Very disappointing dining experience. Breakfasts are much better. Good biscuits & gravy. I might try breakfast again but not dinner. Not Awful‼ Ok, it's been a few years since I've been to the Wild Berry Diner. I think I had dinner those years ago and it was, well , not so great. This is another story! I had the 'Southerner' or something like that. It's eggs n biscuits n gravy. I had over easy eggs and bacon. It's good! Over East eggs were cooked just right, gravy was nice (kinda taste not house made but it was ok). The bacon was cooked earlier and a little dry. I think they could cook them ahead if they dressed them up a little, like brown sugar or something to help from getting dry. My wife had the Espanol omelette, it's got chorizo and liked it. 'it's good'! So, I think WB Diner is repeatable and good for breakfast. (Only place we found open Sunday before 7:00 {6:30}). Give it a try! Breakfast is very competitive in the valley and there are plenty of great choices. I think WB Diner really could compete if they improved some things like the Bacon. I had a hankering for biscuits and gravy. My husband suggested Wild Berry Diner. We stopped in on a Sunday Morning for breakfast. It was still pretty early and it wasn't all that busy. The daily specials are listed on a board as soon as you walk in, and they also have a separate menu with the specials as well. I really didn't have to look at the menu as I knew what I wanted. The biscuits and gravy comes in either a half order or full order. I opted for the half order, good thing I did because holy cow it was huge. The food came out rather quickly, and I dive into my biscuit and gravy. I was not impressed with the gravy, it lacked seasonings. I had to add salt and pepper. The biscuit was good, however. The restaurant itself is clean and the waitstaff it attentive and friendly. Prices are cheap. I will be back to try the fish fry. read more

My husband and I visited the Wild Berry Diner after we'd heard great things about it. It's an adorable little diner. Well kept, super sweet staff, and the people eating there were also very friendly. We made some friends while we waited to be seated. It was a very pleasant place with a happy atmosphere. The food was ok. Amazing prices, but it made sense why they were what they were once we started eating. It wasn't very flavorful (my grandparents would say it's because "old people" don't care if food is bland... haha. the average age in the place was probably 70), but the food was piping hot and the experience was still great because of how infectious all the smiles and laughter around us were. It took about 40 minutes for us to be seated and the place was packed because it was fish fry night. Bottom line, if you're looking to support a friendly small business and possibly make some new friends while you wait to be seated, eat here! read more

This food is amazing! We love all we have tried. Ordering online is the downfall. They don't actively check for orders, often I have to call to confirm they even acknowledge it, and almost everytime I arrive within window to pick up they are just starting my order or I have to bring to their attention my order was made up to 40 minutes prior. Staff is extremely friendly and try to handle the consistent busy crowd on a daily but I feel more staff is needed. I found this diner on yelp and came here twice for breakfast while in town on a cross country motorcycle trip. The first time I came, I wanted to try their eggs Benedict, but was informed they only offer them on the weekends. All was not lost, I found another menu option I thoroughly enjoyed. I returned on the weekend to give one of their Benedicts a try, which I had been eyeballing on yelp, and it was outstanding. Both times the service was very friendly, courteous, and attentive. This is about as close as you can get to the feel of a traditional diner, which are only found in Jersey, without going to Jersey. We have been here for breakfast many times and when Christina waits on us we have wonderful service. The senior menu is extensive-the food has always been delicious. Last Saturday we came in and we're never asked if we wanted more tea or coffee.... I asked for some and three people shook their heads... I finally got one. When my husband mentioned it to the hostess she said we are busy. Tonight we tried the fish and chips.... I am underwhelmed. The soup was good, but I needed to add salt to get some taste... I almost never add salt or cook with it. The food was hot but the fish was tasteless.... Again tried adding a bit of salt, but it still was tasteless. Again I had to ask for a second cup of coffee and my husband was never asked if he wanted more ice tea. We are sitting at the end of our meal with all of the dirty dishes still around us.... We used to come here all the time with my grandfather before he passed away in 2016. It was our weekly spot for breakfast for years. We've come a few times since he passed, but after today we will not ever return. The cooks make food incredibly slow, the manager has a humongous attitude and is incredibly rude, the food comes out at all separate times and the food quality has gone down a ton. The manager came over to apologize and continued to be rude and then threatened to come to my work place and be rude there as well. After she left, her and a waitress sat at the hostess stand talking crap about paying customers. The new owners must not care about who they hire as the face of the company. We went there dec 7th I ordered a hamburger well done and whe. I cut it it was pink. I informed the waitress I ordered it well done, she looked at it said oh my and took my plate. She brought my same hamburger back that was nooked on the same plate that I cut in half. We let her know this was not acceptable and to take it off the bill. She inform the owner cooked it and would not take it off the bill.
