I came here with my brunch group for a little happy hour fun . Parking is ample. Views all around the building is pretty. Inside is shaped and decorated as a barn . Servers were friendly, helpful, and attentive to our needs and knowledgeable on explaining this process. They have a regular menu and a happy hr menu available ! I tried the wine dispenser method. You purchase a wine card of a dollar amount and go to the wine dispenser and pick your poison. From cheapest to highest you find the wine of your choice, stick your card in the slot and above your preference hit the oz sz which will give you an 2/4/6 oz pricing. Tip... read carefully and pour accordingly. It adds up quickly. You keep your card for future use. All monies stay on your card for future use. Live bands are on Fri. Prices are extremely high and too me everything is overpriced Quantity is not worth pricing and wine selection is not geared for sweet. So if you're interested in sweet wines , selections are limited and not worth the pour! Check the website out for more detailed information.

Fantastic patio/outdoor area, great drinks, would recommend the flatbread pizzas. Our server Andrew was friendly and attentive! We will be back

Definitely didn't get enough photos! Fun wine bar & easy place to try different wines by the glass! Enjoyed the set up, service speedy & loved the patio overlooking a beautiful park! Rose, Chardonnay, Pinot or whatever you desire! They've got it!

This is a fun spot. 3rd time in. The wine cards make your self-serve convenient and a great way to start up a convo with another patron. Outdoor patio is a beautiful and quiet place to linger overlooking an intimate park area. This trip I tried a cocktail, Oh How you sparkle. Was sweet, but oh so good! (Anything bubbly is a winner for me). The chicken tomato pesto panini was delicious. Melted cheese and very tasty tomato pesto sauce. It was all cooked to perfection including the fresh toasted bread. Also munched on a charcuterie board. Good selection of meats and cheeses. Maybe a bit over priced. Not to the restaurants fault but staffing was an issue as it is everywhere so service a bit slow, but very friendly and she took things in stride given I'm sure she was exhausted.

Wild crush has such a beautiful patio. My mom and I tried so many of their wines using their self pour dispensers and got a wine flight! I could tell they were understaffed as we waited 20 minutes until I finally went up to the bar. She said she would send a waitress right out and she still didn't come, so I ended up ordering at the bar anyway. There were signs posted for help needed so I didn't mind ordering at the bar. I will be looking forward to trying some of their food next time!

Visited this wine bar for the first time last night and enjoyed our cocktails and appetizers. We skipped the wines as we got sidetracked by the cocktail menu. My favorite was the plum lemonade. It was a tasty concoction of plum vodka, lemonade and other magic elixirs, finished with a delicious cherry. The "Oh How You Sparkle" cocktail was also pretty good, with champagne, cranberry and orange flavors. We tried the spinach artichoke dip, which was delightfully warm and creamy, served with big buttery crackers and chewy breadsticks. We also tried the chicken and beef skewers. I preferred the grilled chicken satay over the beef. The decor was simple but interesting. Our waitress was great. This place shares a lovely patio with Cleaver & Cocktail, definitely a great place to spend some time during these mild months.

Three amigas enjoying a beautiful February afternoon.

We…read morewere actually around the corner at a brewery that was packed with small children and decided to look for a quieter spot where we could enjoy a cocktail and dinner. OpenTable showed a reservation available here, so we finally decided to give it a try--and we're so glad we did. Everything was fantastic. I started with the Green Turtle cocktail, made with Broker's Gin, cucumber, and basil, while my wife enjoyed a glass of Friulano. We opted to share several small plates, which turned out to be the perfect choice. We started with the Brussels sprouts and the goat cheese with bread, both excellent. I also had a cup of the chowder, which may have been my favorite thing of the entire meal. My wife ordered the nightly salad special with tomatoes, mozzarella, basil, and balsamic dressing, and it was fresh and delicious. We considered ordering the flatbread as well, but by the time we finished everything else, we were completely stuffed. The service was spot-on from start to finish, the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and everything was very reasonably priced. We're already looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu.

We're not regulars by any stretch of the imagination, but we've been here a number of times over the years. Sometimes it's just my husband and me, sometimes family members join us, and we've brought friends here as well. Nobody has ever not been happy they came here! We had a reservation and were greeted and seated right away. They have a big blackboard where they write the special drinks of the day, so I always have to check that out! They have small plates and entrees there. We almost always do all small plates. The exception is the shrimp and grits because we really like it! This time we did all small plates. The stuffed portabellini mushrooms were a newer menu item and they were SO good! I could have ordered more of those and been fine without anything else! Our next favorite was the oven baked goat cheese. We literally get it every time we come here and it's always delicious. Then we had the Nashville Chicken Sliders. They're good, but nothing super special. Our last item was the short rib street tacos. I'll just say we won't order them again. They weren't bad, but they were lacking in flavor. My cocktail was from the specials list. It was the Bitter Bonfire - made with mezcal - and it was so good! I think my husband had a Manhattan. We will, of course, be back again!

No bar back. Sometimes other people did lend a hand but he did the bulk of it. When we sat at our table we also had good service. I again ordered beet salad but then got the gnocchi too. The gnocchi themselves were meh but the sauce was very tasty. The ribeye was very good and cooked just right. Side order of mushrooms were a little disappointing. We finished off with the brownie sundae. Best part of that was the ice cream. I mentioned my husband's birthday when I made the reservation but they didn't acknowledge it at all. That would have been fine except for the table next to us got candle etc for someone's birthday.

Since then, Olive + Oak has moved to its current location, which is spacious, airy and filled with light. And somehow, our experience last night was even better than what I remembered. I was having dinner with three friends I used to work with, and Abby, our server, was outstanding from start to finish. I arrived first and had a chance to chat with her before everyone else got there. Her energy and personality immediately stood out, and I knew she was going to be a hit with our group. Hard to believe she has been at Olive + Oak for only six months. She kept taking care of us throughout the evening. She really wanted us to try the grilled carrots, so she brought us an order on the house. Later, one of the managers stopped by with wine glasses and poured us some wine, also compliments of the restaurant. Those unexpected touches made an already great evening even more memorable. With four of us, we were able to explore quite a bit of the menu. We started with the Chicken Wings, Charred Octopus and Lion's Mane Steak. All three were distinctive and delicious. The Fried Green Tomato Salad was enormous, easily enough for all four of us to share, and packed with flavor. We learned it was leaving the menu after that night, so our timing was pretty good. For my entrée, I had the Grilled Flank Steak with crispy Parmesan potatoes, along with a side of Olive + Oak fries. Incredible. The fries were world-class, and Abby even tracked down some barbecue sauce for me to dunk them in. And those Grilled Carrots Abby insisted we try? Wow! Definitely one of the surprises of the night. We finished by sharing two new desserts, the Cloud Cake and Samoa Cookie Cake. Both were super delicious and a great way to end the meal. We ultimately spent more than three hours at Olive + Oak, and never once felt rushed. We were there to reconnect, tell stories and enjoy being together again. Great food certainly mattered, but the warm, attentive service made the evening even better. Eight years was way too long between visits. Olive + Oak remains my favorite St. Louis restaurant.

If you want a small eventful place for celebrating, this is a nice touch. Upstairs with rows and rows of adult beverages (after all it is an adult beverage store) which also is an event space. There are 4 plexiglass squares cut into the floor for an opportunity to look into the event space downstairs. Food I tried the small charcuterie board ($25) which was enough for 2. I was able to make some substitutions. Bar I chose a couple beverage selections and was provided a wine glass and a cocktail (of sorts) glass. My guest purchased Bloody Mary fixings' (vodka and the Bloody Mary mixer). The manager poured the beverage for her (cup of ice, etc.). The bar has straight adult beverages you can order. No Cocktail mixing here, purchase what you like from the rows and rows of beverages. Store There are some rolls of meats and snacks to be purchased as well for you to take or go. Event space: Walking down the huge, wooden stairs and metal wire handrail, you are "entranced" into a quiet, sexy getaway basement, complete with large expansive bar which lights up (top and front) to showcase its amber and honey colors. You can order charcuterie trays from them and also bring in your own catered food. So, RENT this place out and please your guests without breaking the bank! Exterior It looks intimidating but in actuality it's a FUN place with.. a 3-hole green miniature golf pad with a space of turf! How fun. And 3-permanently placed, tall, round tables.
