The hubs ordered the French toast Monte Cristo. He was less than satisfied with his choice. He said the turkey on his sandwich was very dry, like it had been sitting out on the counter. We landed here purely on accident after hitting the local hot rod show and were very pleased to find out how accommodating the entire staff and chef were to ensure my wife could have a meal free of pepper and capsicum. Everything was delicious and the beer and wine list was full of regional offerings. We liked it so much we went back the very next day. I ordered the wild fig burger and absolutely loved it! The burger was on a tasty bun, and the goat cheese, arugula, and wild fig complimented deliciously together. The food here was so good. Me and my boyfriend shared the French toast and the French toast monte cristo. They were both really good and filled us up. It was busy when we came so even though we were seated fast our order wasn't taken for like 15 minutes. But, It was busy and It seemed understaffed so that's understandable. Ate here yesterday and wanted to come and make a review... There was an incident with the table next to me and I see she also wrote a review (a real mean one). All I can say is the story she posted is false, she was harassing the workers and being so rude and disrespectful, and got upset when asked to leave due to the harassment. The lady herself thought she was above everyone because she refused to wear a mask but said the workers need to protect her and wear their mask (which they were). Times are already tough with covid and these restaurants are doing the best they can, so it was very unfortunate to see the way she was treating these employees. Anyway, food was delicious and service was very great!! We were not expecting anything great from this small-scale family-owned place, but BOY it was a pleasant surprise. We ordered soups, few Entrees including the Cubano & grilled chicken sandwiches and goat cheese/wild fig burgers. Everything tasted so great including the fresh fries. To our amazement, they offered freshly baked cookies at the end of our meal and even they tasted fantastic.
