I stopped by to pick up some coffee and spent some time learning about how coffee was made. The gal showing me around did a fabulous job of explaining everything! It's all much more complex than I ever thought it would be, and they aim for perfection! Their coffee is great--each roast is different, all are really good (pick what you like best!), and while I was there I got an expresso, which the gal decorated even as she served it to me! They also have great gear: T-shirts (I got one for me and one for my daughter) and a very warm jacket, which my husband wears daily and loves! All in all, it doesn't get any better than this! This was my first time visiting Wild Goose Coffee Roasters. I was nearby at Loma Linda Hospital in desperate need of a caffeine fix. This place delivers! I went with an iced vanilla latte with oat milk. The taste is impeccable. I'm so happy I looked them up and came here instead of Starbucks. The owner was so nice and upon hearing it was my first time he made sure I was happy with my drink before I left or he'd remake it. It's the little things that make a business great. We have a whole bunch of amazing coffee roasters in the Bay Area, and though I appreciate our local coffee roasters, I still have Wild Goose shipped to my house. Two reasons: 1.) I love that they donate food to a food bank for every bag I buy (yay philanthropy, kindness, and love) and 2.) The flavors in the Mexican Cumuneros Ayuuk (fair trade/organic, to boot) are my favorite way to start the day. I hate mornings, but I love the smell of Wild Goose beans. Just in Loma Linda for a couple of days and wanted to check out a local coffee shop --- not Starbucks. So of course, checked Yelp to find out what's around and this popped up as #1 Since it was reasonably close to where we're staying and had great ratings, why not!? It's a really cute space that lives up to it's tongue-in-cheek name, because you do feel like you're going on a "wild goose" chase when trying to find the place. Had to do a bit of turning around to actually locate the store front, which is tucked away in an office park in a rather industrial area. I ordered the vanilla latte, which was almost perfect. Fresh, smooth, no bitter taste, just the right amount of sweet. The barista was friendly and quick with the service. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that I like my coffee hot and the cup I got was much closer to lukewarm. Also, it is definitely not a place to hang out. In fact, no seating at all. Even with those 2 drawbacks, I would still have given it a 4.5 if that were an option. And I would definitely go back, but maybe ask for a hotter cup next time. read more

The staff was friendly and nice. I tried the vanilla latte. The vanilla has a nice taste, it was a little too sweet, and I thought it was pricy considering the size of the drink. Small hidden coffee shop + roaster located in the middle of a business park. The amazing smell of coffee hits you as you walk in. Staff is very helpful and even offers samples of the drinks so you can make a more sound decision. They are literally roasting their coffee in the back, which is cool! I had a cold brew with Mexican mocha flavor added in, in addition to half and half milk. Even without flavoring or sugar, I couldn't put the sample down. I was sold and went with the previously mentioned coffee drink. Well mixed and didn't leave a bad aftertaste. If you're in the neighborhood or even passing by on the freeway and needing some coffee, I'd recommend stopping by. Definitely planning to stop in again next time I am around. read more

I am a huge cold brew fan. I am also eager to try any coffee shop where they roast their own beans. This place had probably one of the best cold brews I've ever had. Super smooth with dark chocolate notes. I usually drink coffee slow, but I chugged this thing. My only complaint is that they don't have a cafe area to sit in, just 2 small tables outside. Stopped in with a friend today. I'm not much of a coffee drinker but I had a very tasty vanilla latte. We really liked the natural wood look inside and it had a cool low key vibe. The owner was very friendly and gave us a quick tour. Apparently they have tasting sessions on Fridays where you can learn about the coffees they offer and find what you like best. Very high end coffee, and it is consistently good. It is not a hang out spot, it's on a business park area, and it's more of a grab and go, which is fine with me, but if your looking to post up this is not the spot.
