This shop has a very friendly staff and offers artwork or company branded merchandiser for purchase as well. Customers have two options for their coffee: a convenient drive-through for families with children or pets, or a cozy seating area where you can enjoy your drinks and snacks while watching television or engaging in conversation with the owner. I personally enjoyed the homemade chai tea, which was far superior to any packaged mix. Additionally, I indulged in the pumpkin cheesecake, while my friend highly recommended the bagel, which not only looked appetizing but also tasted exceptionally good. I ordered the Cowboy Shake (on the owner's recommendation -- he's super friendly and knows his stuff), and whew... it should be illegal. Four shots of espresso blended with ice cream + butterscotch + caramel?! It's giving dessert. It's giving energy. It's giving "I'll be back tomorrow." Sweet, strong, smooth, and dangerously addictive -- and it's right in the neighborhood. Not great for my self-control, but amazing for my taste buds. Our second visit at Wild Horse and we are sold. The drinks are great, on the sweet side but the coffee is soooo smooth not a drop of bitterness in it. We've tried the muffins and they were huge and super fresh. The bagel sandwiches were divine - loaded with ham, spiced turkey and smoked sausages with a tangy sauce they fill you up. They have the tinniest bit of spice (people who like spice would probably say it's not spicy at all) but it's so good. Would make a great breakfast or lunch sandwich. Plus the owner is super friendly - has the whole small coffee shop feel down pat even though you're driving thru. It's a one man show so so take that into account (it's not slow but one person is making all of the things so it takes time.) We are definitely new regulars! read more

I fear I might be obsessed with this place after one try! Incredible coffee roastery in the smallest drive thru I've ever seen. And the coffee? Amazing. This brew actually stands its ground. I ordered a sweet drink, but it wasn't too sweet and I could still taste the boldness of the coffee through the butterscotch, whereas most other places you only taste the sweetener or the bitterness of the coffee cuts through. Not here. The owner takes great pride in his coffee, and it comes through as a velvety rich blend, perfectly roasted. It's also charming that the branding is an ode to his horse, and in keeping everything else simple, the focus is truly the coffee at a reasonable price. This place is refreshing to have in a sea of over-priced, mid coffee from Instagram-centered storefronts. I cannot wait to be back! read more

HIGHLY recommend going here instead of Starbucks or really anti other coffee place! The staff is beyond friendly and helpful. They are community driven which I absolutely live since I live 5 minutes from the place. The coffee is amazing and they have 3 sizes that are perfect for coffee drinkers. There's so many options and if you don't see something you can ask and they can most likely make it for you if they have the ingredients! I literally won't go anywhere else now because the place is amazing, the owner is super nice, and you get your moneys worth. Coffee is no good. I ordered the one the owner suggested the woman's maze and was test burn and super milky I don't like all that sweet unhealthy extra stuff and my friend order a regular coffee late and the test was awful also .overpriced for a coffee that is nothing special definitely is not for me I won't recommend. read more

I've passed by this coffee shop multiple times and wasn't sure if they were open or not. Apparently they've been open since February. So glad I finally stopped. The lady (I believe the owner) was so nice. I ordered the almond white chocolate latte and my SO ordered the caramel latte. Both were really good. I will definitely be back. read more

New lil coffee shop in Mesa right next to Pete's fish's and chips. Me and my partner have been here a couple of times and we do like their coffee. They do have two specialties, Man N Maze and Woman N Maze. We love the Woman N Maze because it's butterscotch and caramel. It is on the sweeter side but we get it in cold brew which is perfect for us. They do have a cute inside from what we can see from the drive thru. Can't wait to try some more read more

Amazing people extremely friendly, he usually shows up my job site ever morning. I get a 32oz iced coffee w/ a muffin or gooey cake for about 12 bucks. Considering the size of the coffee and cake that's a steal. I just recently found out he has the location on Mesa and university but when I went by today I saw he had relocated to Mountain View and 7th I believe. Went in to get a large 32oz iced mocha to compare it to The Human Bean, Dutch Bros., Starbucks, etc. All have 32oz as well. I'm used to paying anywhere between $5 to $7 for that size. This place popped up near my house not too long ago and eventually my curiosity peaked and I went to check it out. Little did I know they were about to raise my standard for good coffee significantly. I get their quad shot latte with Irish Cream and it's my new go to for flavor. Something they do with the coffee beans while roasting makes this the smoothest coffee ever. The usual bitterness is non existent and you just get a full flavor profile in its place. The workers are very nice and will give you space if you want it or will chat you up if you strike up a conversation. The drive through makes this place easy to grab a quick cup as well if you want.
