Wow! Firstly, the place is in an adorable old craftsman style house converted to a restaurant. Loved it! Secondly, (which should probably be first) the food was delish!! Stopped for lunch for first time. I had the cashew chicken sandwich with fries. The sandwich was delicious and the fries were nice and crispy and tasty. Will be returning for dinner. I've always had the best service and delicious food here. The servers are always pleasant and strive to serve you in any way they can accommodate you. The food is well-prepared and tasty. The only minor thing is that their seating and parking areas are small and crowded. They've gotten very popular over the years ands adding a few more tables was what they needed to do. I was a little disappointed in the peach waffles, it looked abs tasted like they just opened a can of pie filling and spread it over my waffle then added whip cream and a scoop of mascarpone. Such a cute cozy breakfast/lunch spot! It used to be a house converted into a restaurant, so you definitely get that homey feeling when you walk in. Before I made the trek back to Seattle, my friend and I had breakfast here. I ordered the granny smith omelet with a biscuit and gravy and my friend had the eggs benedict with hash browns. My omelet had bits of apples, sausage, green peppers, mushroom, onions, and cheese. The omelet was a bit bland, but after a little salt and pepper, it tasted better. Biscuits were buttery and the gravy was good. My friend really enjoyed his benedict on a biscuit, not english muffin, and huge portion of hash. I saw other patrons order pancakes and OMG they were huge! Two pancakes that covered and went over the side of the plate. We ended up ordering a pancake to go to drop off for my friend at work. Since the pancake had to fit in the box, the waitress informed us they would have to make it smaller, so it'll be two pancakes for only $3. Just had dinner at the Wild Huckleberry and it was fantastic! Top Sirloin was perfectly seasoned and expertly cooked to order. Outstanding quality, "best steak I've had in Wenatchee for many years" said the carnivorous boyfriend. Seafood Fettuccine delivered in every way, creamy, fresh and full of shrimp and crab. Cabernet Sauvignon was incredibly palatable and complimented our meal perfectly. Our service was exceptional and we knew our date night/steak night at the Wild Huckleberry was a great choice well before our meal arrived. I went here with my friend over vacation to Chelan, we wanted some good ol' American breakfast so we saw the Yelp reviews and gave it a shot. The wait was a bit long (but it didn't bother us) and the food was brought out in a timely manner. I ordered the French toast combo and my friend had the steak chicken and eggs. Both of the orders was good but the only bad thing I had to say was that although the pancakes are the size of your whole face.. It taste like box mix pancakes... Everything else was delicious.
