Surprisingly, everyone got a different meal and it was pretty good. The goetta was interesting as it was the first time I've had it before. The chili is different from what you'd find in California, but in a really good way. Super flavorful and worked perfectly with the fries. For entrees, we got the Krueger Tavern burger, the Bleu Gruyère burger, and fish and chips. The burgers were cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. You can tell they take pride in their food here. The bread they bring you is mouth watering. My husband had the steak and it was exactly what I want steak to be. I had the shrimp and grits and they were so, so good. Several of the dishes had marinated cherry tomatoes. I do not like tomatoes but I loved them. Every detail was so well done. The service was perfect and the restaurant itself is beautiful. It's got the perfect lighting for a night out and there was a live piano player in the bar area.
