Lazy river and playground are never open which are the best part of the park. When you ask when to come so that they will be open. No staff can give a clear answer. Would reccomend calling ahead if you plan to visit to see if the full park is accessible. Kind of upsetting that tickets are the same prices regardless. Wanted to add I went 4 times and only once were the river and cove area open. Very lame. You're better off going to the beach. read more

I've been hearing about this waterpark for a while, so I decided to check it out with my family. The park is impressively clean and easy to navigate, and the crowd was pleasant. While some of the kiddie pools were a bit cold, it was actually refreshing on such a hot day. The wave pool was a blast, but unfortunately, we didn't get to try any of the bigger slides due to the large crowd. I thought with most kids back in school, it wouldn't be so busy, but I was definitely wrong. As for the food, I can't recommend it. We ordered a whole pizza for $30, and it was undercooked. Since outside food isn't allowed, it feels like they're making a lot of money from overpriced, low-quality options. However, the drinks were good, and the staff was great, which helped make the day enjoyable. I'm giving it three stars just because of the food and also not being able to ride any of the slides due to 2 plus hour lines . read more

My daughter and I decided to go on a Thursday with my 2 grandchildren. We thought it would be nice to have a Cabana to stay a bit cooler and out of the sun. And another bonus was that it had a safe and cooler it said on the website. When we arrived the Cabana was super hot, absolutely no wind flow what so ever. The cooler did not work and the safe would not open. Also we were attacked by mosquitos who I guess lived in the Cabana. The park itself is fun but the Cabana was a waste of money it was nicer outside of the Cabana. read more

Was also nice and I think that both of them are really good at there jobs including all the other life guards that work at wild rivers. We LOVED this water park. Seriously the best water park I have ever been to (soak city/raging waters/hurricane harbor/OG wild rivers). Everything is still so new and sparkly clean. We came on a Tuesday and the lines were short, moved fast and some had no lines at all. Definitely recommend coming on a day early in the week. The cabana service and the mustang bar service were amazing! Every employee was super nice and amicable. We will be back. read more

This park does not help handicap people, it's actually part of their rules not to help the handicapped. I went to one of the workers and I explained my handicap and if there was anyway to get on the slid easier and quicker because my illness doesn't allow me to stand long periods in line, I could pass out. on the loud speaker they stated we don't help handicapped people but we can giver her crackers and gatoraid. That was such an insult to hear that. It felt as though they were making fun of me and my illness that handicaps me. I was so upset they said that. omg what can i say we came here for 4th of july 2025 and had an amazing time with friends 4 families total around 5 smaller kids ages 7-9 and two teens age 14 they had so much fun we didn't even have to be chasing them around because they knew what pools where perfect for them to be in without it being dangerous the lazy river is about 2.5 ft perfect for the 7 yr olds to walk in standing up and not to say the alcohol for the adults is on point the bar is crazy good with great cocktails dont forget ur id for the 21 and over wrist band they also serve shots!!!! we had so much fun was also just right not crowded for 4th of july read more

We've been season pass holders since the initial opening and visit the park every week. It's come a long way in short amount of time so I have to start off by giving it credit for that. Overall, it's a fun time. We love how new and clean it is it. The slides are fun and our small children are always kept happy and entertained. The longest I've ever waited in line is maybe 40 minutes, which is basically Disney on a slow day. There is plenty of room for more chairs so hopefully they work on making that happen. Yes the food is pricey and the wait for it can be excessive but that's easy to avoid by bringing your own lunch and utilizing the picnic area. Because the most important factors are done right, I'm giving it 4 stars. I'm only knocking off 1 star for minor improvements that can be made. We did our annual Wild Rivers trip, we rented 3 cabanas this year and had about 35 friends join us. Service was great, our waitress was amazing. I have nothing bad to say about the rides or service experience. My problem was the flys! I don't ever remember it being this bad! Flys everywhere and they bit too! They really need to do something about this, everyone in our group couldn't get over the amount of them! Lots of bees too but can't do much about that, they like to swarm the trash cans. read more

It's okay if you have older kids or are just going as adults. I would not recommend it for younger children. They have a nice set up with a play area in a few inches of water. I took a job as a nanny for the day and accompanied a family. They had a 2 1/2 year old and her mom put her life jacket on. I watched the toddler while her mom went on a ride with her older child. The toddler could only go down one slide with a life jacket on. I couldn't go on it with her even though it was very sturdy (a ramp cemented to the ground). So I went up the stairs with her and rushed down to scoop her up at the bottom. The lifeguard told me to just lift her up on the slide and scoop her down. They have the perfect setup but they don't even want toddlers to be able to walk around. I'm all about safety but not rules just for the sake of rules. My family of 4 went yesterday on 6/24 and there was a lot of young high school kids working there and we were extremely happy with their customer service. The whole staff was amazing and they all genuinely looked happy to be there. The lines were pretty short and we were able to do everything at the park. We had a great time here! The Bora Bora Boomerang and Cook's Cove were so much fun! No outside food/drinks are allowed inside. They do a bag search by the entrance. I saw a lot of people with Stanleys and other water bottles though so maybe outside water is allowed? I'm not sure. We came when the park opened so we got to secure some seats but you can bring your own personal chairs. We brought our own but ended up not using them because it wasn't too crowded today (Father's day). I can see how the experience here could be meh especially if it's too crowded on other regular weekends. From other reviews, the lines get pretty long on regular summer weekends. I would say that the lines move fast though so it really isn't that bad! Parking is $25.00 and I suggest purchasing them online. I also suggest coming here right when the park opens so you can secure your seats and make the most out of your day. I say it's better to be safe and bring some beach chairs because there's some reviews here mentioning that people stole their seats when left unattended lol. Also, they have cabanas but they're SO expensive (like $300-350.00) and it's really not worth it in my opinion. It's not that big and it seems hot asf inside it too lol. There are some shower areas (they're outdoors) and changing rooms. The shower water pressure sucks but it is what it is. Changing rooms are super clean. They have lockers but are super pricey ($18-$25.00). I mean, you can always leave your phones/wallets in your car. But make sure to have your debit/credit card with you because it's a cashless park. Also if you're gonna drink alcohol, you'll show them your ID and they give you a bracelet so that other alcohol stands don't have to ID you again. You can re-enter the park. When you leave, they give you a barcode that they could scan so you can come back in. Food is okay (it's regular waterpark food lol) but pricey of course (could range from $8.00-$20.00). First time here and we had a great time. Yes the park is small, compared to other water parks in southern ca but it still had a lot to do and both kid areas were great. Prices are fair, even food prices. The chicken tenders and fries were good and the chicken Caesar salad was delicious. Staff was friendly, specially a young guy in the First Aid dept, who took care of our daughters cut and made her feel comfortable. Overall we would def be back. My daughter in law has a family gathering for my grandsons 5th Birthday. Tickets were $55 each. I thought it was strange that they didn't show a discount for seniors. On the way out the gate I heard a lady say seniors were free. So I walked over to the ticket booth and they confirmed that seniors Are in deed free. She gave me an email to write customer service for refund. I called twice with no response and then I emailed them. This is the response I received from them. See pics They refuse to refund because of a policy, instead of understanding that accidents happen and it may be on their website but not where most would see it which is where you purchase tickets! The managerial staff truly needs to learn how to handle incidents that happen in line. Outside of the line. We waited an hour with no one moving because they could not resolve the issue. They let the actions of 2-3 people ruin the day of over 100. Paid way to much, for the ride coordinator and staff not to be able to handle the problem in any other place rather then the line and ride itself. Will not be going back. I had to come back and review. As season pass holders 3 years in a row, we have experienced the good and bad. The first year was amazing. The second year was not great. My assumption is the tickets were so cheap and it was always sold out. The kids would go on 3 rides at most in 4 hours if they were lucky. The overpriced food wasn't worth the trip. I had hoped they would increase the daily ticket price so season pass holders could enjoy the park. That is exactly how it has been this year. Manageable. The kids have gotten to ride many rides within 5 hours. There are actually chairs available in the shade most days. The park is easy to find the kids. I hope next year stays this way! It's just miserable if it is overly crowded. The food could be a bit more affordable. Over $20 for chicken and French fries and one other item. My only complaint is that there isn't an option to include food and drinks in your ticket that you can scan with a wristband, or an option to buy those cell phone protectors with your ticket that you can receive upon entry. Fun place but lots of biting flies! While standing in lines, we were being attacked by biting flies. Everyone is shaking their legs and swatting them. I went here around a week ago on a Sunday with a big group of friends and had a bunch of fun. I was worried by the bad reviews before going, but we all had the best time. Rides: Some standouts were the Bora Bora Boomerango, Pelican Plunge, and Tomcat Racers. Overall, they're all super fun and the wait time wasn't bad at all for most rides, even on a weekend (granted we did go on as many as possible right as we got there, but still). It's only bad if you get there late and try and get on a super popular ride. Tip: Go on the Bora Bora Boomerango, Pelican Plunge, and the family rides first when you get to the park because they have the longest wait time after the park gets busy. Lockers: People love complaining about $18 dollars. The lockers are big enough to stuff 4-6 people's things in, so it really didn't matter. Food: People also love complaining about "overpriced" food too. It really was just regular restaurant prices. The pizza was a bit undercooked but the fries were really surprisingly good (Pacific Grille). Also just bring your own sealed water bottles, they allow it. Landscape: I didn't mind the lack of decoration around the area. We went here to go on water slides and the slides were top quality, so I didn't care if it's surrounded by landscaping and dirt. Most of the other reviews are spot on except I found all the staff very friendly. From the ride, food and life guards they seem like very young but they were trying. But now for the important stuff: Good: rides were all open except for one that opened later in the day due to testing. The rides were awesome. Thats why people go, so they got that right. Well thought out designs. Alot of shade. CONS: it is pricey. They charge $25 for parking. Lockers are $18 for a regular size and $23 for a large. The food is a rip off. A hamburger is $16 with fries and looks like a kids meal from any fast food restaurant. Only one food vendor was open. So the options were weak There are bees, flies and wasp everywhere. I mean it was crazy the amount that at attacked us. My nephew got stung by a bee. The park is located next to a manure plant. Who on earth thought it was a good idea to do that??? You literally smell manure while your standing in line. RECOMMENDATION - If you can wait until next year to go that's what I would do. Hopefully, they will resolve the food and bee issue by then. But if you still want to go now, bring a healthy dose of patience. read more

We were waiting for this place to open to have a party for my adult son. On July 2 I went online to secure tickets for July 18, a Monday. From what the website said, the cabanas for all areas except Red, and some other areas we weren't interested in, weren't available (I assumed "booked") - they weren't available to order. According to the website, the next day, Tuesday, everything was wide open - but we had all already taken Monday off work, so we had to make due. I secured the "Red" cabana for $350. I could not find any information on the website about bringing outside food or drink, so I made a call. I was told sealed water bottles were allowed, but NO outside food or drink was permitted in the park. Based on the website, there was food and drink, including cocktails, available on site, so we just planned on eating and drinking there, and were looking forward to some adult drinks - especially since my husband and I were going to be covering the belongings at the cabana while the "kids" (young adults) went on the slides. PARKING NOTE: pay for parking online! Parking at the lot is $25 - we paid $20 per car online. So we arrive and the lot is sooooo empty. We actually parked just 3 spaces from the entrance at around 12:00. The place was NOT packed, as I would have assumed based on most of the cabanas being seemingly sold out. We entered the park with our scan codes, which was nice. There was a bag check at the entrance. We made our way to the cabana that, I'm told, the kids were lead to by a staff member, which I think was nice. Walking up I notice that almost ALL of the cabanas were empty - including those in areas I would have preferred but were not available at the time of my online purchase. We arrive at our cabana and there are 2 lounge chair (chaise lounges) and 2 regular chairs. Noting there are 5 in our party and no one is in either cabana near us, I ask if we can take some of the lounges from the neighboring cabanas. I was told "no", because those may have been purchased and those people may still be arriving. OK - makes sense. We took some chairs from the "open area" to make due. No problem. It was nice to learn that there are "runners" that you can order food from. I asked our gal for a menu, and she promptly brought one. Food offerings were a Caesar Chicken Salad, a Chicken Wrap, Cheeseburger & fries, Philly Steak sandwich, BBQ Pulled Pork (which was not recommended), and Avocado Toast as main items. There were kid-friendly options as well, some dessert items, and a variety of chips and sweets like cookies. Came to find out the onsite restaurants that are on the website were not open yet - including the bar. Bummer. So the available food was cooked in trailers, packaged in plastic containers, and stored until purchased. Needless to say, the food was just "ok" at best. I mean, it was edible. 3 of us ordered the cheeseburger and fries - and I imagine the fries were AMAZING when they came out of the fryer, but ... having sat, sealed, steaming themselves ... they were just soggy and yuck. My son got the cheesesteak sandwich and also said it was just "ok". The burgers were $18 each (ouch!) and the cheesesteak sandwich was $13. Pretty expensive for mediocre food. And there are flies. Fertilizer. The kids went on the slides and said the wait for most was 20-30 minutes. I have no way of knowing if that's a long wait or not - but keep in mind the place was WAY less than packed. Just putting it in there for what it's worth. Having walked around we found almost none of the cabanas were rented, despite them not being available on the website when we purchased our tickets. There was a big party by the wave pool who rented 2 of the 3 cabanas in that area and they had taken all the chairs from the neighboring, unrented, cabana. Noted that we were told we could not do that. Additionally, they either brought or were provided a table, and had a bunch of food that was clearly brought in from outside. Again, we were told no outside food was allowed. Hmmmm. Frustrating with unclear, and unreinforced rules. Also noted that some of the cabanas have an opening in the back so that there is air flow through -- ours didn't have that. It was hot and kind of stale in there despite the shade. Also, some of them had electric coolers (no outside drinks??!!) - ours did not. So if you rent a cabana, I would recommend finding out which open in the back - it really makes a difference. On the cabana note, it was frustrating to see people who just decided to squat in the unrented cabanas when we had paid for ours. Arg. All said, let me say that the staff was awesome - friendly and responsive. LOTS of lifeguard staff, and regular rotations. Safety in the pools and slides seems to be spot on. The lazy river is boring. All in all it was a good day, but they definitely have some kinks to work out. We will be back. Do note the park is still under construction. read more

I love going to water parks as the season is ending in September because the crowds are smaller. It makes parking easier, the lines for food are shorter and the wave pools aren't as crowded. Usually in September they are only open on weekends and they aren't open on the weekdays. The weather is usually still warm enough to go to a water park. The lighter crowds make the park more enjoyable, so if you have the option to go on a weekend in September I encourage you to do so. read more

10/10 will be back. Very friendly staff and lifeguards - everyone clearly is there to do a good job! We hung out mostly at Cooks Cove which is for smaller kids, but we had so much fun! The wave pool and lazy river were also awesome! I thought the value of the ticket + cost of food were pretty good all things considered. Sunday visit, make sure to buy tickets online for a discount. Parking is 20 if buy ahead or 25 if you buy at the entrance. The park overall is good, lots of slides, the kid area and lazy river entrance are nearby so easy to access. Everything costs money as expected, not egregious prices except maybe the 18 dollar pizza. Park looks like it's about 80% complete, I'm sure the remaining slides will not make a significant difference besides the visual of being complete. We have visited the park twice and my nine year old is attending the Jr. lifeguard camp this week. The attractions are fantastic and there is plenty to do for all ages!
