Chicken tinga, beef bulgogi, Korean fried tofu tacos

Solid taco spot. Came with some friends on a Friday during happy hour (3-6pm) which is pretty awesome - $6 classic margarita and select tacos for $3.50. Fiesta! Margarita was flavorful, strong and came out quickly. For tacos, I went with HH specials: chicken tinga, beef bulgogi, and KFT (Korean fried tofu). They were all delicious but I think they gave me a bit of an upset tummy afterwards. My friends tried a few other tacos and gave thumbs up. I'd love to come back and try the chicken and waffles taco. We also split chips and guac; good portions, though chips did not seem made in-house. We sat outside and really enjoyed it. Shaded seating, plenty of it with one half dog friendly. The decor inside is top notch and one to emulate. Service was attentive. Reasons I can't give five stars is because 2 of my 3 tortillas crumbled apart while eating due to sogginess, the belly issue, and they use paper napkins. Otherwise, great work.

Great happy hour and some great options when it comes to food and beverages. Some great places to take some selfies. The bartender was sweet but short. I feel engagement is pretty important, especially when you're sitting at a bar top, but it was obvious that the bartender was alone and still setting up by the time we walked in.

Overall, I thought the meal here was very good to excellent. I got an assortment of tacos, and as a meat eater, I would say the spicy tofu was my favorite of the lot, which also included Bison skirt steak and fish. My son got the kids quesadilla meal, which he really enjoyed, although the portion was pretty small and we ended up ordering a second quesadilla.

So impressed with everything at the Wild Taco. The drinks were delicious and beautiful! The tacos were so good and we even indulged in dessert! The staff were so friendly and attentive. Even the ambiance was cute, it didn't even feel like we were in Denver. It was a perfect choice especially because the weather was nice enough to sit on the patio. Would absolutely recommend and return!

This is an update to what I wrote previously and my sentiment towards this taco joint hasn't changed. This place although it's not necessarily the best place for this cuisine is a solid place where you can enjoy food/service/ambience equally good and decent where you won't walk out of it being disappointed. Today what I noticed was the portion size of the three tacos I ordered from the happy hour menu. On the small corn tortillas, three meats were generously placed nicely and beautifully. They all tasted good to the point where I simply couldn't find anything negative to say about the tacos (not that I was hoping to complain about them!!) I also got me the Guacamole and Chips along with my three tacos. This, however, wasn't as good as I thought would be. The guacamole lacked a bit of flavor; it also lacked a bit of creaminess where it tasted a bit dry. As this was my mid day late lunch or early evening meal between some businesses I was taking care of in the very neighborhood this afternoon, its convenient location perfectly served my needs. As a matter of fact, this has restaurant been my go to casual taco place I can easily walk in on any given day/time for the last several months (this place has a location closer to my DTC house and yet I am more comfortable with dining at this Berkeley location to be frank.) Once I was done eating, I heard a friendly "Thanks for coming in today" goodbye word uttered by the male bartender. Service is solid here.

First time here for some tacos, food was fire. Service was 10/10 they got happy hours on Monday all day! Portions are very generous for the price. Would recommend here to anyone visiting

Love this location, it is so cute inside! I got the bulgogi and chicken waffle tacos and both were so unique and tasty! This place is known for their fusion/unique tacos so don't come here expecting authentic Mexican street tacos. Also had the guacamole which was great as well. Service was fast. Would come back to this location anytime! It's right next to Flyte Co Brewing too.

More upscale taco place. The food is delicious and service was great! They have awesome weekday specials like happy hour. The decore is adorable! A must try!!

The cheese dip wasn't really our thing, but the rest of our experience was wonderful! We loved having so many taco options && being able to order as many as we want. We found this to be the perfect compromise between a happy hour snack and dinner.

The veggie tacos were great! The flavors were amazing and they had some interesting combinations. Drinks and vibes were also on point. Most importantly the price was great for Denver. Definitely recommend!

We stopped by during Denver Restaurant Week for the first time. The interior has a super fun design! We tried the salad, chips and guac/salsa, elote fritters, chicken tinga taquitos, chicken tinga taco, carnitas taco, and churro stack. The churros were one of the best things I have ever eaten! I will be dreaming of them for a while and would totally come back for those. Everything else was tasty too. The tortillas used for the tacos were very flimsy and not durable, which made eating the tacos a mess, but the flavor was yummy. Service was friendly!

Tried this spot for date night on a Friday night, relaxed vibes, indoor + outdoor + bar seating, quick and friendly service. The food was good, lots of creative taco flavor options. In order that we liked them: 1. Ahi taco 2. Skirt steak 3. Bulgogi (Korean bbq) 4. Pastor 5. Shrimp esquite 6. Fried fish Chips and Guac were solid too. The reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is solely due to price for portion size. The range was $4.50-6.50 per taco, and $9 for chips + guac, have to pay extra for salsa. I think this is a common price range for "gourmet" tacos, but each taco is on the smaller side. Portion wise - I think you'd need about 3 tacos per person to feel full, could maybe get away with 2 if you're not that hungry.

    Is it noisy for brunch?

I don't think so! The patio is pretty quiet considering it's on 38th and the inside is pleasant too. They play music but not so loud that you can't hear your table conversations. :)

I started going when they were still operating out of their food truck, and honestly, watching them grow into a permanent restaurant feels like seeing your favorite underground band finally make it big... except instead of music, they're dropping cheesy taco masterpieces. The queso tacos are absolutely ridiculous in the best possible way: crispy, cheesy, messy, and worth ruining at least one shirt over. And the consome? That stuff could heal emotional damage. It's rich, comforting, and somehow makes you immediately want "just one more taco" even when you're already full. Every time I'm in Denver, this place is mandatory. Not optional. Not "if there's time." Mandatory. My vacation itinerary basically starts with flights and ends with tacos. So happy to see Kike's getting the recognition they deserve. If you haven't been yet, prepare to have your standards permanently ruined for all other tacos.

This long skinny establishment - not necessarily super spacious - can offer you a decent food that you can count on. You don't need anybody to go with - you can be a solo diner because this place is not intimidating in any way. It's that casual. I think this establishment was born in the old Stoney's Cantina space. Whether the place was huge enough to create two businesses (and thus La Loteria occupied half of it), I sort of saw some "remnant" of Stoney's was the impression that I got. Whatever I am correct on this or not, this casual Mex place is all about vivid pastel colored interior where red is mostly dominant. Intriguing murals on walls 360 degrees are quite impressive. Once you are inside, a huge arrow to direct the people to order to their left at the ordering counter. That ordering counter extends all the way where you'll see some bar seatings. The right side of it mostly has tables for small to large groups of people. Like I said, this place is not huge but at the same time, people don't stay long to dine; the turnover is quite quick in a way. The restaurant also gets many walk-in to-go order placers as well. I got me the Aztec Bowl for to-go. This dish is only $11 (as of early May of 2025) and is a vegetarian item. I consume a lot of vegetarian diet and yet my instinct loudly spoke to me to add some protein to it. Whether or not you can keep it non-meat to stay in the vegetarian zone, adding some protein to this dish is a must as if it was by itself, it would be a bit boring because it only has some greens and some slices of avocado. As the add-on, I got me the carne asada ($5.00) that comes with rice. Not bad.. I didn't eat it right after I got home; I meant to get it to eat it the next day which I did (this AM.) It was still fresh where nothing tasted stale. The carne asada was well-cooked with seasonings. In other words, it wasn't salty at all but held good flavors. Now on the receipt, I saw a charge of what's called "takeout service fee" which is 18%. I kind of assumed that this was mostly the mandatory gratuity. At the end of the card transaction, I remember that the different gratuity percentages were listed on the machine and they were quite small because of this fee. It'll be up to you to add more if you wish. Some people might complaint about this mandated system and yet I kind of understand that businesses nowadays must survive by navigating through the rising cost of living. As we have seen our favorite businesses disappear in the recent years, I am here to support them by whatever I could within my power. Whereas the parking on Broadway is a pain in the neck at any time of the day, if I think of a casual Mexican dining in the Baker neighborhood next time, I may stop by here. It's a good establishment to know.

I mean seriously!! They care about their customers that get satisfied with their service and meals. And it does draw a very diverse crowd from the Hispanics to Caucasians to Asians, I mean you name it. They also get a lot of to-go orders. Some people came in, grabbed their food and went on their way for the night. My friend got the Torta Los Carboncito. This is a massive sandwich with plenty of meat inside. Since the menu has colored picofor almost each item, what caught my attention was the fish dish. There are two of them: one is trout and the other is something else (I forgot) but I got me the non-trout one. The lady asked me if I wanted the flour or corn tortillas so I went with the corn one.
