The only time he came back was about three minutes before our food arrived to apologize for the delay and let us know it was being plated. We ordered two elk burgers and one Wagyu burger, and unfortunately all three were extremely dry and lacked flavor. Our family of 6 had a wonderful lunch at Wild Thyme! The service was excellent especially from our server Jaden, and the food was held to a very high standard--everything we tried was delicious. We started with the pretzel bites, which came with two tasty dipping sauces. The kids loved the handcrafted flavored lemonades, and I enjoyed the Lavender Haze, which was really good. A great farm to table restaurant if you're in the Zion NP area. First off I love where it's located-it's like you're coming to a grandma's or some other relatives place. It got that down home charm. Concierge at my hotel recommended Wild Thyme Cafe, so we headed there after our hike to check it out. The restaurant is located away from other businesses, so the dim outdoor lighting made the ambiance more appealing. Outdoor seating-on the porch or in the grass was available, we opted for the outside porch. There is inside seating too. Free parking here. I was pleased with the service, as we were seated right away, with 30 minutes to closing. Staff was attentive and courteous. Love this restaurant! It's always a spot we hit when we come to Zion. The food is great and the service is very friendly. They have a great outside area with tables on the lawn which is great for little to run around in. Our toddler doesn't sit still, so this gives us the freedom to eat and him to explore freely. Really great lunch spot maybe just 3-4 miles away from the Zion park entrance. There was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and high chairs for the little ones. They had a few great options on the kids menu and it was so sweet of the staff to give the kids some silly string type toys to keep them preoccupied. The death by chocolate for dessert. I would say the apps were the best, the black bean sliders were pretty impressive. The salmon was pretty mediocre and yellow curry was honestly not great, very sweet like it was out of a can. The death by chocolate just felt like a bunch of chocolate items thrown together for an explosion of overly sugary dessert. The service was also extremely slow, but the waiter was very hospitable and attentive which made up for that. Ambiance is also outside in a lovely green lawn, as well as indoors.
