This is a great place to go out for drinks with friends. My work had a few large events here that were nice. I agree with Sarah, they can have some seriously long waits. One time I actually called and tried to make a reservation and they said they couldn't reserve but asked what time we'd be coming so they could try to accommodate us. We waited over an hour. Yeah, so that's the downside. Good deals on booze, fun atmosphere, great outdoor space with a bar overlooking their large pond. Lots of TVs. Great place to watch sports. The food is hit or miss. The wings are great. I have the boneless, usually, and have the Ranchadilla. I once went and didn't want wings and whatever I had was so bad I stopped eating it, which is something I rarely do. It was something basic, as I recall, I believe it was chicken fingers. Bottom line - go for wings and booze and leave it at that. read more

This place has really good wings the best I've had in a while. My favorite is the red dragon, it's not too hot and has a ton of flavor. The waitress was lacking a little in keeping our drinks topped off (non-alcoholic). They stop making food at midnight, but serve drinks till 3 am. We walked over from our hotel and sat at the bar instead of grabbing a table... Had a few drinks and grabbed an appetizer. I was very pleased with the service that we received from the bartenders. We never went without anything that we needed. After our drinks, we ordered wings to go. The wings apparently took like 20 minutes to come out. I didn't notice because I was buzzed, but without us saying anything the bartenders told us that because it was taking so long, they would take a couple of our drinks off our tab. I think that they deserve a 4.5 only because the salsa was terrible. It was sweet which we found weird. The wings were awesome as well. read more

Update to my other review. I originally gave them 3 stars due to the long wait and bad service ( the only redeeming quality was they had bass ale on tap.) After posting that review the owner contacted me and gave me a $20 gift card to try them again. Well I can say it was much better this time. Got traditional wings. The Medium and Ranchilada sauces were very good. My favorite wing sauce is a spicy garlic and I was very disappointed in the Slayer sauce. Wild wing cafe seems like a nice place. Located in Farragut, the spot made it seem like a nice spot to get dinner and drinks. The patio seems like it would be great in the summer. The ascetics of the inside are a typical bar/restaurant. The service was absolutely awful. Our serve disappeared for what felt like 30 minutes. At one point he just sat down at our table to "just chat". It took forever to get our drinks. The appetizer we ordered came out after we had already finished our wings. Most of our wing orders were missing the sauces or celery we requested. My friend asked if they had any light beer on tap and the guy suggested an IPA which is definitely not a light beer. I've been to lunch there three times and each experience has had BRUTALLY SLOW service. Most of us only have a certain amount of time to eat when we work so waiting 45 minutes for an order of 10 wings and fries is ridiculous. The only thing that salvages a decent score is the food, it's really good. The menu can be cluttered and hard to sift through but it's tolerable. I have to admit, I wasn't too impressed with this place. My husband and I wanted good wings so we decided to try this place out. I ordered lemon pepper and flaming parmesan, HOWEVER, the two flavors I ordered tasted the exact same. They weren't super flavorful, so I was bummed. Our favorite wing place to eat when visiting Knoxville. Never disappoints! I had the 4 pic chicken feathers which is basically boneless chicken tenderloins grilled on a stick. Flavored it with Thai curry sauce and the cilantro lime sauce. Yum! My husband and kids had the traditional and boneless wings with habanero hot, fireball, red dragon and honey BBQ. All we're pretty good. On previous visits we've enjoyed the Siracha Nachos and the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. Both are pretty tasty! Staff is friendly and restaurant has a great atmosphere. There's a nice bar and live music on select nights and a nice patio area for outside dining. Not sure why but it always seems to rain when we visit so we haven't been able to sit outside. I met my parents are their friends on Friday to eat, drink, and listen to the band. It was a great time while we were there but 5 of us out of 10 ended up with a stomach virus/food poison and all were unable to keep anything down. When we reached out to the restaurant our messages were read but not one reply back. Our service was absolutely abysmal. There were two tables near us, both full of drunk middle-aged men and women. After finishing our meals, we waited for 35 minutes to pay for our food because our waitress continued bringing drinks to those tables. Upon taking our money, she then gave me the wrong amount in change. At that point, I had to walk up to the bar (where she was making what I think was the tenth round for each table) and asked for the $10 she shorted me on earlier. I didn't get that until 15 minutes later after she said she would bring it over. Do NOT go here, or if you do, don't sit on the patio. The wings are puny, the potato wedges are dry, and in the five years I've lived in Knoxville, the service was the worst and most pathetic I've ever experienced. The one star comes from the fact that the patio overlooks water, and it was really hot outside. -3/10 would not recommend read more

We've been going to this place for 4 to 5 years now, however it seems this place has been on a steady decline over that time. Our softball team had enjoyed coming here after games and now make effort to find other locations to go. The biggest issue is service, either as our family or the softball group, it seems the host/hostess either doesn't know where to sit us (when the restaurant is 3/4 empty) or acts like truly a hassle to seat you. Then you usually wait for a bit before you see a waiter or waitress. Most of the time they are very nice and cordial, it just seems to take a while to get drinks and a very long time to get food. My family of 4 waited over 40 minutes for our food last time we were in, and 2 of those items were salads. The wings and burger came out luke warm. I'd like to say it was just an isolated bad experience, however the last 3 or 4 experiences here have been so poor I really don't see us making an effort to return to this location. read more

I have a group at wild wings weekly of 20 to 30 people that they can barely accommodate though they know that were there every week. The final insult was we wait for band for almost an hour and a half we got there early. Advertised!! They knew it was a game night when they advertised. Last time I checked you don't have to hear the sound to watch a game. I had a table of over 25 people and the manager said never to return again because I asked him to please let the band play. We still took care of our waitresses who also asked to let the band play! Btw did I mention they are paying for a band who also asked to be let to play! Most of the people watching the game have already eaten and drank we were still live participants and ordering drinks!
