I am a frequent customer of wild wing cafe. I often visit for NFL games as well as college football games. Normally I always have a positive experience when visiting. However, three weeks ago myself and a few of my female friends were treated unfairly. We were being harassed by a guy who continued to make sexist comments towards us. One of my girlfriends did get upset with this guy who begins to yell at her. After a shouting match between the two of them. The manager (guy named Chris) proceeds to kick me and my girlfriends out. Only one of us was involved in the shouting match. To add insult to injury we were kicked out by a male for standing up to another male making harassing and sexist comments toward us. He never asked this group of guys to leave. I am so disappointed. The two people involved should have been asked to leave not the group of women who were innocent bystanders. read more

We are not spicy food eaters anymore. We will not be eating the wing 33 flavors which is a major point for people coming there. This was the first thing we were told about when we ate there. For starters, I would recommend the queso, spinach dip, mozzarella sticks, and their guacamole. These are the only appetizers we have tried in our three visits to them. The staff is very kind and very concerned for your food restrictions. I asked about the Garlic tortilla for the turkey G.L.T. and I didn't notice the garlic until the next day when I ate the second half of the wrap at home. The garlic wasn't too overwhelming. We have also tried the Texas Toast Club which is a huge portion size and tastes amazing! We have also tried the Ultimate Bacon Cheeseburger which the beef is superb plus real BACON! Their turkey burger is also a must try! Although they seem to think their turkey burger might be a little dry possibly because it comes with condiments that are oozing from the burger. I would recommend you get the condiments on the side of you want to try the meat by itself or don't want a ton of condiments. I look forward to trying the turkey burger again with the condiments on the side. Also I tried their potato salad with their turkey burger and the potato salad is very "mayonnaisy" (lots of mayo) and I didn't think it was even average but very oniony as well. I would not recommend the potato salad. Their chicken fingers are BIG! I had to take the last two home for the next day. I would recommend the 3 chicken fingers if you don't want to take any food home and are a little hungry. If you are very hungry or want leftovers place your order for the 5 chicken fingers. As you remember we can not eat spicy foods, any more without stomach pain, so we asked for the Rookie Batter which is plain batter, I believe, with no heat. I would recommend this place to anyone interested in a clean environment with kind and caring staff! I think an owner or manager runs food because this man knows the menu front and back. He recommended the garlic tortilla for my turkey wrap and said, "They would be happy to remake it or make anything else on the menu." This shows me they care about their customers and are willing to put the customer as a priority. As always, staff leave and managers change so this place is amazing now. I am highly disappointed in the service that we received here today. We sat for 45 min before our appetizer was ready and then waited another 30 min for wings. We watched our waitress text on her cell phone in a room within view of our table. Once our food finally did arrive it was soggy and cold. We generally love this location and have eaten her several times ( great wing sauces!) but when the sauce is congealed to the chicken and the fries are Soggy and cold.... it's not a fun experience. In the land of fried chicken and BBQ (North Carolina), it is next to impossible to find a restaurant menu that has options for those of us that eat for a healthy lifestyle. I have visited wild wings cafe several times in the past week and order the grilled chicken "Feathers," which is simply grilled chicken on a kabob, served with a choice of vegetable (they have 44 side/vegetable options such as steamed broccoli, a grilled veggie skewer, Cole slaw, etc.). No, the food is not the highest quality, however according to the menu all of the chicken is hormone & antibiotic free. This place is really going downhill. We started with the "mile high ultimate nachos". By their name, you think you'd receive a lot of nachos but it has really been downsized over the years. The server was most likely new or just bad because she kept forgetting things and then when we told her we were ready to order she said "okay" but then walked away. That was awkward. She came back and took our order but then only collected one of our five menus..she also didn't come back to refill our drinks once. The wings were dry... I've only been to this location once and it was good, but definitely not worth the trip to Brier Creek if you're looking for good wings. We had the Ragin' Cajun and The Boss wings, and although both were supposed to be hot, neither were as hot as we were expecting. Service was attentive but it just felt like your typical, run of the mill chain restaurant to me. I don't see us making a special trip to go back but if we are in the Brier Creek area and craving wings, we'd probably give it another shot- but we're opting for something hotter next time! read more

So it mean that since there were no seats left near the Bears game, I had to sit in an area with four TVs, none of them playing the Bears game... Wild Wing Cafe is one of two places I go when I'm craving honey mustard wings (unbelievable hard to find). They have a variety of appetizers and wing flavors to choose from. You have to order 16 wings to split the order into 2 flavors, which is a bit annoying for those who wish to sample. Since I only order one flavor, not such a big deal. A little pricey for my tastes but cost is comparable to other similar sports bars. They have an outdoor seating area which looks out on busy Brier Creek Parkway. It can get very loud inside- not the best place to go when you have a headache! Parking can get tricky, as the lot is shared with several other popular restaurants. read more

This place would get a solid 4 stars if some of the lady waitresses and hostesses were more pleasant. The hostess today (2/15 @ lunch time) seemed like she hated her job and had a sour sad look about her. We went because they advertised a band we like (RadioStar) and showed up with a large group of friends to see them. We all ordered drinks and food (which was nothing special) and enjoyed the game while waiting for the band.... which never came on. The band was there and set up, more than half the people in the bar were chanting and asking them to let the band start playing- the manager stated, "we are a sports bar first and the game is on". Come on people, leave the game on the other 1000 screens and let the band play. OR DON'T ADVERTISE A BAND IF YOU DON'T INTEND TO HAVE THEM PLAY! Admittedly, I have been here more than once, but only b/c my coworkers really like it here. Me, I find the breading on their chicken tenders too thick and the chicken inside is sometimes questionable (more tendon than I'd like). I can't speak for the wings, but I've had the buffalo shrimp skewers. While they tend to be rubbery, they are a vessel for the wing sauces, which I do enjoy. We recently ordered wings TO GO here and the whole process from ordering over the phone to picking them up was awful. We were rudely put on hold when we called into order and when my husband picked up the wings he was not even spoken to, and they barely even looked up at him. The wings here are pretty good, but not good enough to keep going back only to get rude service. They are stingy with their ranch and charge for extra ranch when dining in and out. A WING PLACE THAT CHARGES FOR EXTRA RANCH IS RIDICULOUSLY CHEAP! The ranch, when dining in, comes in these flimsy LITTLE paper cups which makes it hard to dip the wings in. Not only that but TO GO wings are packed into a ONE little to go box! We got 25 wings and they were all packaged in one to go box! CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP. Holy Smokes....now that was a pleasant surprise! Had a little get together Sunday afternoon with about 20 of us. Many other places that service wings, while they may be meaty in portion, typically do not offer the variety of taste, as Wild Wings has to offer. While flavorful, wild wings still does not allow the true meaning of the wing to disappear. With juicy tender white meat wings, you have the option to have boneless, or enjoy the typical style. Out of the long extensive selection, I find myself drooling at their Jalapeno Cheddar Wings. Just the right amount of spicy, to go with just the right amount of taste. Drinks went empty 3 times and took 10 mintues for a refill. Appetizers came with the entrees. I was halfway through my meal before the server ever came back to see if things were okay. There was no flavor one half the chicken feathers, but it was really too late to do anything about it. Check seemed to take a long time after the food was gone. We asked to get some fresh chips and the server came back and said the kitchen staff said they cook the chips in the morning and that's all they have. Not cool. The service is incredibly lacking at the bar both times I went and the food is dismal. They also charge for extra blue cheese or ranch. Bring on the Wings! It's hard not to want to enjoy wings and beer once a week. When the craving strikes, choose this place! My boyfriend and I are extremely fond of "The Slayer" garlic wings. They pack a punch and never disappoint. Beer specials every night! We're also fond of The Wild Wing Chocolate Thing for dessert.
