We came with a party of 5 and were seated on the first floor. The atmosphere is great, although first floor is a bit draft from the door being opened. -roasted oysters, plump and juicy -hamachi crudo, one of my faves, fresh and light -Malfadine sauce could have been more flavorful -margarita and lemon ricotta pizzas were both good -desserts were all really good, especially the olive oil cake -branzino, great cook, could've used a bit more sauce Service was great and they gave us the sorbet on the house!

Enjoyed weekday lunch with a friend at Wilder. Incredible service and even better food! We shared the roasted oysters, branzino and Mafaldine (crab lobster). Would easily recommend all 3.

This restaurant is 2 floors and so beautiful! It's modern with nice splashes of color and it was such a vibe. Service was fantastic. This was a great spot for a girl's dinner. It's casual but you won't be out of place if you dress up. For food, we started with the crispy calamari that came with a citrus frisee salad and was already sauced up. It was a unique style that I enjoyed and much lighter than other calamari dishes I've had. The petite plateau was perfect for sharing among the 4 of us. Everything was fresh and delicious while being presented so beautifully. The cocktails I had were good. They were different from ones I typically order which I thought was fun to experiment with new flavors to see what I like. One had a pickle garnish and the other was with a non-smoky mezcal. For entrees, most of us got pasta which were all handmade and tasty. My favorite was the one with crab & vodka sauce. The cacio e Pepe & mushroom ones were also good. What stood out the most during the meal was dessert. We got the double chocolate mousse and that was one of the best chocolate mousses I've ever had! It was so gorgeous and topped with a sunflower seed praline & had tangy passionfruit sauce at the bottom which made for a flavor explosion. I was so impressed! The key lime panna cotta was also a work of art topped with candied sourdough that provided a nice crunch to the creamy texture of this dish. It was so yummy! I can't wait to go back again!

Had such a nice dinner here- service was excellent! The ambiance was fantastic and the food was impeccable! We had hamachi bites which was small but tasty and beautifully presented! The beet salad was so fresh and delish. Calamari was perfectly fried light and crispy. I did not have the honey rolls but everyone was raving about it as the best app. I had the Calabrian hot chicken which was deep fried- tasty and spicy and generous portion- everyone liked all the dishes - I had the chocolate mousse dessert which was really really delicious !

Stopped at Wilder for a birthday dinner, so cute on the inside (and pretty easy to make a reservation). We enjoyed splitting the rolls and some pizza (and broccolini, not pictured). Everything was pretty good! Would stop by again (but I think I prefer their brunch!)

We went for Sunday brunch without a reservation. They didn't have any tables available but offered us seating at the bar or bench. We chose the bench, which was comfortable enough for one or two people. The service was excellent. Our waitress was patient and attentive. We ordered the Eggs Benedict and the Grilled Salmon Salad, and my friend had the Kombucha for drink. Both entrées were delicious; the salad was fresh, and the salmon was perfectly cooked. My friend liked her drink too. For dessert, we shared the pistachio and cherry tart and ordered Jade tea (one pot was enough for both of us). The tart was fantastic, with a pistachio custard base that was especially good. Overall, we were happy with our choices and the restaurant experience. Highly recommended!

Not sure if Monday night is the ideal time to try this spot out.. Food was bland and overall experience can be described as such outside of the sorbet and the service. Too many amazing places in the city to settle for decent to ok. Cool space and perhaps prime time when the A team is in the kitchen will render a different outcome/experience.

I'll be dreaming about this meal for YEARS. Nothing makes me happier than cacio e pepe and here it's done right. Silky, creamy and cheesy perfection. Perfectly al dente noodles. I finished every last drop. I also paired this with a side of buttery broccolini which made for the perfect bite. Don't sleep on the bread and butter - it's an upcharge, but oh so worth it. The rolls were pillowy and buttery and the garlic butter was melt in your mouth. Everything on the menu sounded so decadent that it was really hard to choose. My friend ordered the chicken cutlet and it was literally the size of three plates. Cocktails were delicious, the decor was gorgeous and the service was on point. This is a really amazing pick for a swanky dinner out in Center City.

Really nice happy hour. Interior and ambience js spectacular. Service is great too. Tried the spicy pizza which was very flavorful. Ricotta toast was also good. Did not like the arancini at all due to a smokey taste.

The food is delicious. I came before and had the madaldine pasta with the crab meat and it was good. I was happy to find out that I could add a protein with my cacio e pepper pasta because, by itself, it's not filling. The shrimp was delicious. I love their variety of NA drinks. The service was great! Shout out to the wait staff I've had at each visit. The place is so beautiful. I have not seen the upstairs yet, but the bar seats are way too cute and the dining area is immaculate.

Service was superb. Water was never low. Ambiance was beautiful. First floor was amazing. Outdoor seating was even decorated with flowers. I came here for the Beef Carpaccio and it did not disappoint. Perfectly cut. Would have not overlapped as much for easier handling. The steak in the hanger steak salad was cooked perfectly. A little kick of spiciness to it. I was not a fan of the Lamb Bacon Pizza because the lamb tasted gamey to me and the cheese they used I did not enjoy. My friends seem to like it though. The Malfadine Alla Vodka - the pasta used was so unique. It really immersed the sauce in all its twirls. They did not skimp on the crab meat. I wish there was more than one unisex bathroom on the first floor. Would come back to try the dinner menu and if they add squid ink pasta to the menu. I mentioned in the reservation that we were celebrating two birthdays, but I guess since we did not order a dessert, nothing was mentioned by the staff. Cocktails were very good.

What an amazing dining experience. The menu is curated with purpose and meaning. Each dish is expertly crafted and thought out. Wine list isn't random but matched to the menu. Ben was our server and he was so passionate and knowledgeable about both food and wine options. He elevated our dining experience to a whole different level. Five out of five stars!

Before heading to Philadelphia for a work trip, we made reservations for a large team dinner (18+ people) in their private dining room. The team was very easy to work with and made helpful suggestions along the way. Upon arrival, I was greeted and then shown to our room where everything was setup very nicely! The menu was a preset family style selection and then we ordered bottles of white and red for the team. The wine selection was a bit unfortunate as we have a few wine connoisseurs in our group and to find a red they didn't really dislike was a challenge. There was luckily no issue with the white wines. The food on the other hand was great and I loved most items! We tried the seasonal greens salad, blueberries & burratta salad, the mafaldine alla vodka, sliced hanger steak, cacio de pepe, broccolini & carrots and then two desserts... double chocolate mouse and bomboloni. The burrata salad wasn't quite what I was used to and I think you can skip it and I feel the same about the carrots and the double chocolate mouse. The mouse was chocolate and passion fruit which just didn't meld as well as I would hope. Everything else... amazing. I LOVED both of the pastas, the steak was cooked perfectly, the other dessert was one I couldn't get enough of. I also have to mention that the ambiance was lovely and the service was fantastic from both our server and the managers who came to check in everything was as we expected. Really happy we picked this place and would absolutely pick it again!

The restaurant itself is pretty small, so I'd definitely recommend making a reservation ahead of time. Thankfully, we came right when they opened and it wasn't crowded, but I can definitely see it filling up quickly, especially on weekends. We came specifically for happy hour and were told you can only order from that menu if you're sitting at the bar. It was a little inconvenient for a group since there were open tables available, but it wasn't a huge issue. Their happy hour menu isn't the biggest, but it still has a good selection of staple food and drink options. I started with the red sangria, which was really good. The wine was smooth, and the apples added a nice sweetness. The papas fritas were pretty standard but came with a generous portion size. The artichoke + mushroom arancini were decent -- I've definitely had better, but they were still enjoyable. The whipped ricotta was easily the star of the show. The bread was perfectly crispy, and the ricotta paired with the sauce was so delicious that I almost wanted to order a few more servings of just that dish. The Barbuzzo burger was okay, but nothing too memorable. It wasn't very big or unique, just a simple burger with an aioli spread. Overall, I'd maybe come back for happy hour if I'm just with one other person since the bar seating requirement makes it harder for groups. I'd mainly come back for the whipped ricotta and sangria, but I definitely still want to try their full dinner menu since I've heard great things about their food.

While I might choose another place for takeout, when the goal is a night of pizza, wine, great atmosphere, and authentic neighborhood vibes, this is usually where we end up. The space is bright, industrial, airy, and thoughtfully designed but unforced. White walls, warm wood, considered lighting, and a floor plan with real breathing room. The vibe recalls Bucktown, Wicker Park, Williamsburg, and Greenpoint: design-forward but genuinely local. There's a great bar, and booths near the kitchen with glass windows that let you watch the staff. Our three-year-old was mesmerized, and the staff was warm and playful, smiling and waving while they cooked. A small detail, but memorable. The crowd feels local. Good music, friendly people, hip but never pretentious. It's just a fun place to be with great service, too. The food is outstanding. We usually order the chicories caesar with grana padano and breadcrumbs, and the lettuce salad with shaved vegetables and creamy oregano dressing. For pizza, we love the arrabbiata (the Angry pie) and tomato pie with sausage and pickled chilies. My wife enjoys the ice cream. A note on bringing kids: I don't think this is a family restaurant, but if your kids are curious and well-behaved, it's absolutely worth bringing them earlier in the evening. We've gone around 4:30 or 5:00 on weekends and always felt comfortable. One time, our daughter had a full meltdown, and we were mortified, but the staff couldn't have been cooler. They packed everything to go, kindly and without any judgment. That kind of grace is hard to fake, and it genuinely stuck with us. Pricing is fair for the quality of the food and the experience. Places like this can seem overrated or overpriced, but this one doesn't. It offers real value for a memorable night out. The whole restaurant feels like a microcosm of Philadelphia's progressive, creative side. There's real ambition behind it, but it still feels human and grounded, nothing sterile, nothing corporate, nothing over-engineered. Just smart people building a cool neighborhood place that others actually want to spend time in. Oh, and make a reservation. Great spot, Joe. We'll be back soon. Thank you!

The hostess took our coats (a nice touch!) and then a rotation of two servers explained the specials and we ordered. I love that the menu is on the shorter side and they rotate the pizza offerings, so even if you're visiting on a regular basis, you'll always be able to try something new. Additionally, when a menu is only about 2 pages, you know everything on those two pages is top notch, as was the case at Pizzeria Beddia. This evening we got the meatballs (didn't take a photo, was too excited, but they were HUGE and excellent) and the beef, pork and veal balls with a rich red sauce was outstanding. Came in an order of 2 but one was plenty for each of us. The Pizza we got had potatoes on it, and we added sausage per the servers recommendation, and it was cooked perfectly and all of the flavors blended so well together. We are so lucky to have an amazing (and nationally recognized!) pizza spot in the neighborhood and it's always nice when you can walk in without a reservation from time to time.

EXCELLENT LATE-NIGHT STOP! MUST TRY!…read more We walked in about an hour before closing on a Thursday night--never an ideal entrance. You know the look. The polite smile that says "it's fine" while the eyes say "it is absolutely not." Totally understandable. No one loves a near-close order. I even acknowledged it out loud--apologized, explained we weren't from the area, and that we were just trying to grab a quick bite because it was one of the few places still open. She said it was okay. Her face said otherwise. Fair enough. Here's where it turned around. The pizza came out hot, fresh, and legitimately impressive. Not "good for late night" good--just plain good. Every bite was fresh, the ingredients tasted clean, and the pizza clearly hadn't been rushed or phoned in despite the timing. Hunger probably helped, but even factoring that out, this was a standout. Honestly, I was kicking myself for not ordering an extra one to go before leaving the city. That's how good it was. We did try to get drinks, but were told the soda machine was down. The nozzles were off, so I'm guessing it was a cleaning/end-of-night thing. I won't ding them for it--though let's be real, tossing nozzles in sanitizer isn't exactly a marathon. Still, not a deal-breaker. Restaurant was clean, but of course, they were near closing. I tipped her a few bucks for staying late, and left genuinely satisfied. Bottom line: the food carried this experience completely. If you're visiting Philadelphia and need a reliable, fresh, late-night bite, &Pizza is absolutely worth the stop. Sometimes the places you expect the least end up delivering the most. I plan to 100000% return (and it'll probably be near closing time again, too)
