Visit at 130 pm July 27. The restaurant was not that crowded, perhaps a half a dozen tables occupied. And only a couple outside in the shade. I ordered the chop salad, and it was brought to the table within 10 minutes. My dining companion who ordered two patrons in front of me, ordered the triple club, and it took over a half an hour to be delivered to the table. Don't get me wrong, I like wildflower I find their ingredients, always fresh and tasty, but lately the service has been lacking in terms of speed and efficiency. Now maybe they had a whole boatload of call-in orders that they were trying to assemble, but I still think having to wait a half an hour for a sandwich is a little much. The food is amazing and we are Regular customers. This is the 2nd time I have called in for a takeout order and was put on hold for 15-20 minutes as I drove from Prescott Valley. When I walked in and showed the women behind the takeout counter my phone still connected to Wildflower, she was unapologetic and didn't appear to be doing much of anything. I went to Wildflower Thursday for breakfast. As I was standing in line with my friend trying to decide, I said that I wanted the mushroom frittata with arugula salad instead of potatoes. Long story short, my friend couldn't decide, so we stepped aside and continued to look. Danielle was the person at the register and she patiently answered my friends questions while still helping the line. We finally placed our order and went to sit down. A few minutes later, Danielle walked up to our table saying that she overheard me saying I wanted the salad with my frittata, but that I had ordered potatoes. I told her I would prefer the salad if she could get it for me. Next thing I know, our plates arrive and there is my salad. I was stunned. Who does does that? She is awesome! She had a great attitude, was so professional.and thoughtful. She went above and beyond to make a customer happy and I truly did appreciate it. Our food was great. Everything was perfect. So we sat and talked and then when my friend was finished, Caleb walked up and asked if he could take her dishes. It was perfect timing. Not rushing us, but getting them out of the way. He was friendly and smiled and even chatted for a minute. I could see he was looking at my plate, but I wasn't quite finished so he left. When I was done, the same thing happened-he came up and asked if he could take my dishes. He was so friendly and smiled and talked to us. That's actually rare at a lot of restaurants. He was also super nice and professional and friendly. I haven't been to a restaurant lately where I had such a good experience with the food and the people. We spoke to the manager and told him how great Danielle and Caleb were. He wouldn't give us his name because he wanted his people to get the recognition if we chose to review his restaurant. So very upset. I called in a order and the woman name was Kayla I said I wanted Penne pasta with marinara sauce and the meatballs with the Ricotta cheese and toast. She said order will be ready in 10 minutes to 15 minutes. I okay my husband will be there to pick it up. So my husband gets home with the order. I moved to Prescott only about four month ago and still haven't discovered all the restaurants this town has to offer because of this one. Almost every weekends it's Wildflower time! I have never been to a restaurant where I could honestly say that every single item on the menu was delicious. Usually customers find their favorites and stick with them but at Wildflower every single menu item that I tried so far was better than the previous one. Big props to those who spent time creating the menu here. Excellent job! Though my choices are usually limited to vegetarian and pescatarian dishes only there are still plenty of tasty treats to choose from. Here are some personal favorites: - Portabella mushroom sandwitch - Caesar salad with Salmon - Mushroom soup - Smoked gouda soup Speaking of soups. These deserve a review on their own. Celebrating a birthday for an amazing friend.... she was feeling kind of blah as she turned the big 70.... coming into the restaurant, I didn't know what to expect as I've never been in there before... very unique as when you walk in they have vases and fresh flowers... this is so you can make a flower arrangement and take home free.... that is pretty cool... then you stand in line to order your food... Decisions decisions..... so hard to figure out. They give you a lot of food and so I decided on half the sandwich & soup.... if I had a full sandwich and would've been major huge but had half... the soup was in a bowl and not a cup and my sandwich was like having both halves.... wowza! We enjoy visiting Wildflower when we visit family in Prescott Valley on Thanksgiving and Christmas. This is the first time we have been to the new location and it is beautiful. There is a nice little lobby to wait with a couch and a few chairs. The line moved quickly and the server Amanda was friendly. Caleb was helpful and assisted our large family in selecting food options. The drink station was amazing with choices of coffee, soda, teas, and lemonades. The bread and dessert selections are amazing and the delicious variety makes selections difficult. We enjoyed the patio with perfect November weather. Wildflower was very busy as expected around the Thanksgiving holiday but we were still able to find a seat. We waited about 25-30 minutes for our food. The food was all delicious from breakfast selections to sandwiches, to salads, even a grilled cheese for our little guy. We did encounter two issues: 1) they only grilled one half of our "grilled" sourdough sandwich. 2) women's bathroom stall was out of order so the long was very long. My niece ended up leaving without using the restroom. My only recommendation would be to come to Los Angeles! We will definitely continue coming back to Wildflower upon our visits to Arizona. read more
