I'm honestly surprised about how many bad reviews there are of the Wildflower. I was kinda nervous going with our group of 6 but we had a great time and would go back. We had a reservation but ended up sitting at a big table across from the bar. Jacob was our server and he was awesome, attentive and entertaining. We shared a few apps and then ordered entrees and several pitchers of peroni. Is the food amazing? No, it's not the best Italian food, but it was pretty good and we were hungry. Came here for a group dinner during a ski trip so didn't have much choice over the food as we basically just had ceasar salad, pasta with meat sauce and a variety of pizzas. The salad was fresh, the pasta quite tasty, and the pizza - most have relatively thick crust except for the vegetarian version which was thinner. Overall a pretty good restaurant although not outstanding. The dining room has two levels just a few steps apart. We were on the upper level which was a long and narrow section where tables can be put together for groups. read more

Wildflower at Snowbird is still a solid spot overall. Max was a great server. Super attentive and friendly, which always helps after a long ski day. I do miss when they had gluten free pizza. I came here after a long day of skiing and thought it was very good. I tried some of my family's flatbread, which was super good. For my main, I ordered the chicken parm, which had a great crispy seasoning and was cooked perfectly, along with a good sauce and spaghetti. The bread side was flavorless though. Being part of the IB timeshare community, Wildflower is convenient and historically was known for its great deals. However, many of these deals have disappeared, along with the quality of a lot of the food. The breadsticks are not very flavorful anymore, and the food is not very spectacular beyond the wording, which is disappointing given its location at a resort. The view is great when you are seated at the window, and the lounge is a nice area especially during football games. However, service has also gone down and it seems as though much of the staff are rather less enthusiastic and welcoming as the years go on. read more

The meatballs and pastas were inedible. The bruschetta was a sloppy mess, also disgusting. The ceasar salad was actually okay though. The apps took 50 min to come. The kitchen ran out of a main and didn't tell us until the other entrees were coming out. Items were forgotten. Meanwhile, the server, Max, was unapologetic and unprofessional. Instead she gave excuses such as, "well you have a big table" and "I just got here last night." You will regret going. It's worth staying home and having a bowl of cereal or microwave meal. Anthony was one of the best servers I've had. I am from Los Angeles and am accustomed to fine/high end dining. My mother was an executive chef for 15 years, and I know solid service and good food. Surprise! Nothing to complain about here :-) the food the service and the atmosphere were spot on for a casual sit down dinner. the drinks are weak but that's expected for Utah. I always pinch myself and wonder why I spend $10 for basically a copper mug of ginger beer. My boyfriend and I always argue over toppings on a pizza and they were happy to accommodate half with prosciutto and half with chicken in addition to artichoke hearts and mushrooms. The appetizers came out fast and hot just like we like them. We had an unusual fried ball of rice and cheese as well as bruschetta. Both delicious. we only wish the tiramisu was bigger! Especially when it costs $9. FYI the early-season menu is quite Limited. It doubles during the ski season. read more

Resorts in the Alps have no problem offering delicious French & Italian cuisine slopeside despite being in much more remote locations than Little Cottonwood Canyon. In France it's Bouillabaisse, in Scotland it's Fish Stew. At the Wildflower at Snowbird its called Cioppino. It's the only thing I've ever ordered and probably all I will ever order now that I've tried it. If I sit here and think about the broth for too long I might start drooling. The veggies were cooked with a slight crisp left to them, and the chunks of seafood were to die for. We also ordered the hummus appetizer and the tiramisu for dessert, and both were perfection. Of course, anytime you're dining someplace like Snowbird, it's hard for the food to top the scenery. I highly recommend coming here in the summertime so you can grab a table on the patio and enjoy the view. Just be aware of the wasps--I was stung during dinner. *ouch* read more

Snowbird is a world-class place to ski but the amenities are Terrible. Restaurants are subpar and so is lodging. I was surprised that the wildflower is surprisingly ok. While I give this place 3 stars, on a relative basis I'd be hard pressed to give most other places 1 to 2 stars. It's an Italian menu. Service was friendly and our waitress did a good job of handling a large group of 16 of us. Menu is not overly inspirational but everyone seemed happy with their fare. I was psyched that they could accommodate my vegan requests. While it was dark, the view seems like it could be quite good. Decor is dated but so is the rest of snowbird. I wouldn't come here if i wasn't staying at snowbird but with so few options, it is definitely worth putting on the rotation of restaurant options. Prices are reasonable as well with most entrees around $15-18. read more

This place is open! I was sad to see Yelp said it was closed when I came to write my review! We ordered a bottle of wine and sat by the window with a view of the whole mountain. The pizzas we ordered were great too! The servers were very polite and attentive, we were pleasantly greeted right away when we came in. The place felt safe to eat at even in covid because all the staff actually wore their masks and were constantly cleaning while we were there. Definitely OPEN! I don't normally leave bad reviews but this warrants it. The server Henry was quite possibly the worst server I have ever experienced. My husband and I were the only people sitting on the whole right side of the restaurant other than a family of 4. There were 3 other tables available by a window and a man sat down to enjoy the sunset. I heard the server arguing with this customer that he couldn't sit by the window because he was by himself and the table sat 4. In an EMPTY restaurant. The pizza was burnt to the point I asked the second one that we ordered to be not as cooked. I like well done pizza but this diavolo was scorched. We ordered drinks to go along with our pizza. Neither one was good and one was so small there is no way it should have been as expensive as it was. We asked for a box for our left overs, Henry took them to the back and threw in the uneaten crusts from my husband's plate. Why?? There were two slices of pizza left over and he put them right on top of each other in what looked like a medium sized pizza box. The leftover pizza is the one that I asked to not be as cooked, so it doesn't look burnt like the other was. We will not return. read more

Would NOT recommend this restaurant for you dinning experience while visiting Snowbird, UT. Customer service was absolutely terrible, and food was very subpar for the price. It was $6 extra to add a meat choice to your pasta, and I only got 1 piece of chicken in my meal. Understanding that we were a bigger party, we were extremely gracious and patient with the wait staff. They in fact felt so bad about their service they offered to give us all a desert of our choice on the house. Halfway through the dinner service, our server abandoned us to serve another large party. After waiting 40 minutes, post dinner, to put in our dessert order we had to wait another 40 minutes just to be told they were out of every dessert we had ordered, and truthfully they had given our dessert to the other large group that showed up after us! To top it all off the remaining dessert they did have available they boxed up for us and brought it out in a GARBAGE BAG!!!!!! I am completely appalled at the service our group received from this restaurant and as someone whose company visits snowbird frequently, I will be sure we never spend a dime at this restaurant or hotel (Iron Blossom Lodge) establishment again! read more

This place is one of our favorites in Snowbird/Alta area. If you want great pizza you'll find it here. I have family in Italy and we go there every summer and wildflower pizza is the closest to the authentic Italian original. Service is wonderful, every one is friendly and professional. Unfortunately the resort has decided to "re-brand" their restaurants so that there is less inter competition...the result...rather bland pizza and decidedly awful bruscheta. The salad was decent, but not particularly memorable. Bruscheta appeared to be assembled from pre-toasted bread...and the rest cold ingredients....the result...a warm in spots, but mostly cool/cold chewy product that was at best disappointing. Both the server, and the bartender...who became our server after the server was phased....were excellent, friendly, and a joy. The wines and cocktails were mediocre...but the company of the lovely and charming Lana was delightful ! read more

Then we didn't see our waitress again for 20 minutes until the food came. When we were done she came over and asked about dessert and coffee, and actually brought the coffee relatively quickly, but after she said she'd bring sweeteners, she vanished again. I had to ask one of the staff for it. Almost $20 for overcooked spaghetti with two golf ball sized meatballs. Flavorwise, the food here is pretty good and the pizza is tasty but the crust could use work. I like that they have a daily pasta special and their arugula salad was nice. I hate to take away a star, BUT for average/good food, I think the prices are way too high. I mean, there's a reason Olive Garden offers that "endless pasta bowl": because pasta is cheap. I don't really think a plain bowl of pasta with tomato sauce should cost so very much, so I guess that's my main issue with the Wildflower now. I realize the location most likely adds to the price but if people are paying that much, I think they at least deserve perfectly cooked spaghetti and maybe three or four meatballs, no? read more

Sadly this once great locals apre ski hangout has nearly completely folded. It now closes in mid April and doesn't open again until December so there is no longer summer service as others have previously commented on. Also the place was "rebranded" a couple of years ago and then massively scaled back the menu to just pasta dishes which are bad and pizza which is perhaps only OK. No longer do they offer wings as others have commented on. There is no burger options and forget cioppino, steaks, or previous fancy desert items. Most of the previous great wait staff is now gone. Bar and Beer selections remain Utah poor and pricey. My suspicion is they will eventually close the place down and convert it into more time shares as there seems to be no desire to run a restaurant at this location any more.
