I'd rate this place a 4.5 if I could. The food was delicious and I'd definitely revisit this place, but I wouldn't give it a full 5 since I usually save those for absolute favorite restaurants of mine. Food: -Buffalo chicken salad: This came with a decent portion of chicken, and I liked how it also came with vegetables and toasted bread so the sandwich was warm. It was full of flavor, and the Buffalo sauce wasn't too spicy. The only thing I wished was for the sauce to already be mixed in with the chicken in the sandwich, since it was a bit difficult having to dip the sandwich into the little cup of Buffalo sauce. I ended up taking off the top piece of bread and drizzling the Buffalo sauce on top instead. -Potato cream cheese soup: Highly recommend this soup. It's nice and thick and creamy and the potato chunks are small which was perfect. I got a bit of potato in every bite. So nice for a cold day when you want something warm. Service: The set up of this restaurant reminds me a lot of Panera. You order at the counter, they give you a card to put on your table, someone brings your food to the table, and then they also clean up your dishes. The restaurant overlooks the mountains if you sit outside, and the food is yummy. My boyfriend and I both liked our meals, and I loved this lemonade that I got from the self serve machine. The man who took our order was very kind, and recommended some good items to order. The service was good, they were really busy when we went in. This Wildflower restaurant is located in a tight retail center. There's very limited parking so that can be a challenge. The actual restaurant itself sits high so you can sit outside on the patio and look at the beautiful mountains of Sedona. The Chihuly inspired crystal flowers are centered perfectly in the middle of the seating area. The service was quick and everyone was super friendly. I ordered the chai latte and a Asian salad. There was only one food item that was listed gluten free on their extensive menu. That was the oatmeal and maybe the pancakes ( per the server) I ended up ordering the Asian salad without the bread, no dressing or crispy noodles since I they didn't have any salad listed as gluten friendly/free. Unfortunately there were a few rotten lettuce pieces in my salad. Something was really off with my chai latte too. It's a really cute place to visit with the outside patio and all. This was my first time visiting a wildflower location and it is basically Panera, but better. I got the lunch combo "pick 2". The southwest salad was one of the best I've ever had, i loved the cilantro lime dressing- it was super light and fresh but perfectly tangy. The corn felt freeze dried so it had a bit of a crunch. I regret not getting a full portion of it. I also got half of the sweet potato sandwich; It was a huge chunk of sweet potato that was a little crunchy/undercooked. The goat cheese and fig jam were tasty but overpowered by the huge chunk of potato. It was also too big to get my mouth around which made it messy. Parking was easy right behind the restaurant and there is both indoor and outdoor seating (with a beautiful view). Our food came relatively fast and everything was clean. read more

If this was the caliber of service and food at our local Panera, I'd be there a lot more often! The interior and set-up at Wildflower (close to 20 locations) are similar to our local Panera (over 2,000 locations), but the comparisons stop there. Wildflower is a much smaller, local chain - and you can tell that a lot more care is put into everything here. We came for breakfast on a busy weekend morning, and everything we had was delicious! We especially liked their breakfast bowls and ricotta pancakes. The cashiers were able to help with our questions about it the menu, and - even though this is semi-counter service place - servers were quick to see if we needed anything and clear our finished plates. Menu and concept was a little reminiscent of Panera, but I will tell you a few steps above. Inside and outside seating with a incredible view. Fresh baked items muffins, pastries, cake etc. order at the counter and find a table. I really enjoyed my breakfast sandwich spicy with sausage, sun dried tomatoes and a spicy chipotle sauce. The avocado toast was tasty with 2 pieces of thick sliced bread toasted with mashed avocado and over easy egg with a side salad. We both agreed the sandwiches were very tasty & large. We are outside as the weather was nice. Service was friendly & quick around 10 minutes or so. They lost one star only because the restrooms were awful: dirty & smelly. They may wish to code the bathrooms so they don't get used by no customers or better yet have them cleaned more frequently. read more

We're visiting Sedona and decided to order dinner in from Wildflower via UberEats. I can only speak to this particular experience but we were not very pleased overall. The food we got was very good, but the portions were TINY, and more than a couple of our items were just plain missing (kid's pasta had no fruit nor cookie, meatballs were missing parm and parsley, no bread with my pasta). To top it off, the order took forever. Our delivery driver waited at the restaurant for over a half hour for everything to come out. So to have it come late and incomplete was a pain. We didn't have a ton of options for food in Sedona but wildflower looked like a safe bet since it offered a bunch of options ranging from salads and soups to pastas. We came for dinner (honestly the brunch menu looked more promising). I wanted to order a soup with a bread bowl, but they had just sold out of breadbowls. I ended up getting a bowl of the Italian wedding soup. Firstly, when I asked the cashier what type of meat was in the soup, he had no idea. Another employee finally chimed in and said it was "pork meatballs". Once I got my soup, I was so disappointment. It looked like all the ingredients had been cooked to oblivion (all very mushy), and it was impossible to find meat. The "meatballs" they had referred to were mere particles of meat, none of which were larger than the size of a pea. Not exactly what I would call meatballs. Plus it was too salty. This is one of the prettiest Wildflower restaurants that I've been to. With amazing views and equally delicious food, you can come and relax on their patio to experience the glorious red rocks in the distance while enjoying your meal and a nice cold or warm beverage. On this this trip I ordered the seasonal butternut squash ravioli. It had a cheesy sauce and came with two thick slices of garlic toast. Very filling and hearty food. On the side I ordered the ricotta cheese and fig toast with honey drizzled on top. This fulfilled my sweet tooth craving. It was very sweet and yummy. At the dessert counter they had various pastries and cakes. I noticed a nice chocolate cake that I really wanted to try but was totally full after my meal. Spacious interior, fast counter service, clean tables, and choices. After a morning of walking (let's be honest, not hiking when temp is over 90' at 8am), we chose a late lunch of Brussels Rocket Crunch salad, Steak & Blue Sandwich, Chili Lime Brussels Sprouts, and Fig & Ricotta toast (topped with Pistachios). Both treatments of Brussels Sprouts were outstanding. The Blue Cheese on the Roast Beef sandwich was generous and exceptional. Know when you order Blue Cheese, it is often just a sprinkle of crumb? This was a thick spread of smooth Blue Cheese, not a sauce, the real thing. Outstanding. The surprising treat though was the online Nutritional Info on Wildflower's website. Powered by 'Restaurant Nutrition Pro', the ability to determine exactly how many calories were in the order and select/deselect any customizations. Gone are the days when I can lie to myself that skipping the vegetables balances the dessert. While there a variety of bakery items offered (Cranberry Scone next time def) the Fig & Ricotta toast (did I mention the Honey & Pistachios?) is what we took away for an evening snack. Ample parking, enough choices to please everyone, and TREMENDOUS views from the dining room, we will definitely return in the Spring. read more
