We arrived at Sedona and decided to stop here for a late lunch. Parking was difficult to find but we eventually found a spot. Even past lunch time it was busy inside but there were a couple open tables as well as people just finishing up their meals. Surprisingly they were open on New Years which was nice. This is the type of restaurant where you find your own table and order at the counter. The ground was a little messy and it was crowded but overall a nice place to sit down and eat. The bathrooms were clean too. There were a bunch of options, some of them being exclusive to a certain time of day. My brother got a BLT sandwich and I got an Italian one. They were both pretty good, enough sauce and the bread was delicious. Went here for lunch before our Pink Jeep Tour which is located across the street. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating where you can enjoy the views of the beautiful red rocks of Sedona. Lots of fresh tasting options for all types of eaters including vegans. Their bakery bread is amazing and fresh and I love the seeds in them. My 12 year old enjoyed the avocado toast which had a generous amount of mashed avocado on it. She wanted the pasta but sadly, was told it's not available until 3pm. I guess we didn't see that part on their website. I had the 1/2 chicken salad (delicious) sandwich with salad and that was plenty for me to eat. If I ate there again I would request the salad dressing on the side as it was a little heavy for my liking. I enjoyed the crunchy chickpeas in addition to the croutons on top of the salad. My husband enjoyed the vegan corn soup with half a veggie sandwich. I came back later for a cup of tea and a salted macadamia nut cookie as an afternoon treat. Looks like people come here to also work on their computers so if you're looking for a place to enjoy some food while getting work done give them a try. when we walked in, it looked quite busy! we managed to snag a table. however, there was only one cashier who also made the coffee drinks & she was taking a while to make the drinks / there was a lot, plus people in front of us waiting to order, so to just put in our order took 20 minutes. Found this eatery through a lunch search on Yelp. We were doing take out so joined the line to order with the cashier. The menu I forwarded to hubs on Yelp was outdated cuz chicken Parmesan sandwich was not on the walled menu. Doc called him and read off the available selections. We ordered an Italiano, an Antipasto with chicken add on and chicken salad plus two desserts. Thankyou Doc for treating us for lunch and coffee afterwards. The sandwiches took quite a while to wait for but were colorful, generous and filling. Quite a lot of people were dining in while we waited for our order. Came here for lunch and left rather disappointed: this is a busy cafeteria, not a restaurant. Disorganized. They are short staffed: ordering takes a while especially if someone asks for made to order beverages. The same person is both the cashier and barista. Many people are forced to make secondary choices, which takes time. Beware that menu availability is partial. Breakfast items are not served after noon and there is no dinner meals before 3pm. Yet the menu is confusing there and customers often order unavailable items and then have to decide on alternatives. To the owner: why is the menu displayed at all times and its availability written in tiny yellow font on beige background? So that nobody can see it? It gets very busy during lunch and few tables are available. Order line stretches to the door. Either secure a table before ordering or order to go. Only two single person bathrooms are working overtime. Prepare to wait. Food quality is very good and is the only reason to come here. Everything else disappoints. read more

Honestly I was looking for a Panera in Sedona but this is pretty much the equivalent but better than a Panera. It has fresh soups, salads and sandwiches. It looked like there were some pasta dishes but we just went for soups, salads, and sandwiches. My husband got a lemon chicken soup which we really enjoyed(and frankly still looking for a similar recipe for). The kids got kids meal and enjoyed that they could get a side of fruit. The line fills up fast(mostly families) but it's relatively quick. The view outside is of beautiful Sedona so it made for a lovely lunch. read more

I never thought I would drop to 2 stars for Wildflower, but here we are. The management apparently is not aware of trends, but breakfast bowls are hot these days. And they provide a complete meal in a compact form factor. Wildflower used to have a lovely Baja Bowl. Gone. Not replaced, no bowls for breakfast now. For midday, they used to have small bowls: elote, hummus, mac'n'cheese, etc. now, mostly gone. The latter is ostensibly still here, but not today due to "supplier issues." The others are fully RIP. I realize that they have a (lovely!) bread baking operation, but if you eat bread, bread, bread, you will get fat, fat, fat. No not guaranteed. A tiny fraction of us have an industrial-scale metabolism, but most of us do not. If I wanted a sandwich for lunch, I'd go to Subway. This small chain has lovely staff and I presume lovely owners...but hey, two very big steps backwards is not okay. read more

I am from the Northeast, and OMG I want a Wildflower in my area ASAP!!! Wildflower had such an amazing selection of foods. I wound up going with the bowl, and it was delicious: from the buttered bread, to the eggs cooked just right, to the chorizo and other ingredients! We were in Sedona for a couple days and stopped here to get breakfast on our way out of town. I had the steel cut oats - the honey infused cream made it taste amazing! I also got the fig and ricotta toast. I'd never had anything like that before and it piqued my interest. It was also really good. So good that I had to go home and try to recreate this recipe. I didn't realize Wildflower was a chain throughout Arizona, but overall a good spot for a casual, post-hike meal with views of Sedona. They have sandwiches, salads, pasta, as well as breakfast in the morning. The ingredients were fresh, and sandwiches were decent (as far as sandwiches go). We stopped by around 1pm on a Saturday, and it was virtually empty except for a few tables. Order at the counter, they provide a number, and subsequently bring your food once it's ready to your table. The individual who took our order was very patient, and they brought our food with a friendly smile. There are plenty of indoor tables, along with an outdoor seating space with beautiful views of Sedona. I opted for the Cheddar Braised Beef, which came with an au jus for dipping, as well as chips on the side. My friend got a half order of antipasto, which wasn't the standard antipasto, more heavy in greens than pasta. Food itself was standard, but the views bump it up to a 4. Didn't have a huge problem finding parking, which is probably credited to our late lunch. read more

I always forget how much I enjoy Wildflower. It was a busy Sunday up around those parts of AZ, causing extended ordering and wait times. We determined that we were in no type of rush. I knocked a star off due to the putrid smell permeating in the entry way. To me, it smelled of vomit, which would make sense if someone became ill on their way to the washroom. However, it also occurred to me, sometimes that is the smell with a mop head that hasn't been properly cared for. Fortunately my friend decided we should sit outside to enjoy the beautiful weather and the smell was only bothersome inside of the establishment. We elected for a dirty table, I had just done the same thing a day or two prior, I imagine this is hoe my immune system stays strong? Understandable why there were dirty tables, considering it was so busy. I went with the 2/for meal with a salad and sandwich. As I said when I began this, I always for get how mich I enjoy Wildflower. Veggie Sammy with a southwest salad as it came, and a drink where I blended the mango and blood orange lemonade together getting the perfect beverage.
