i've used fix it before and they were great many years ago for my new AC. They also helped me with my plumbing. When I bought my new house, I used them again but they have changed. The management is rude and completely disorganized. Plus they don't train or supervise their workers. They seem to have no idea what they're doing. They broke the lid to my toilet and replaced it with one that doesn't fit. The sewer line they put in, the soil has completely caved in where it connects to the main creating a hazard. Why is it only caving in there? My neighbor also used them, but now her bedroom is extremely hot the way they put in the vents and they never fixed it. I should've asked her before using them again. There's so many good people out there, you don't need to use a rude management who doesn't have good attention to detail or follow through. They clearly don't value their customers only money. They push work even when they know that you are not able to make a decision. read more

Was going to buy a replacement Tankless water heater from Lowes . It was about $1300 . They sent out Will Fix It and they quoted $7100 to install their brand. They said Lowes tanklesss water heaters were junk. Also, the estimator checked my water pressure and said I was going to need a valve installed near the water meter as his tester showed 90+ and it had to be 80 or under to pass inspection. I bought a water pressure tester at Lowes and it showed a water pressure of 76. This is a totally unscrupulous.company, or maybe it is the estimator(salesman) read more

Had a service appointment scheduled 12/11 from 4:30-6:30, and nobody called or showed up. I called at 6:30, was told I'm on the schedule and the technician was running late. No response, so I called back at 7:45, same answer. Called back at 8:45 after no response and was told my appointment was rescheduled to 12/12 at a time that's not available for me. 07/2023, AC repair call out - Will Fix it, repair tech/sales rep. Hard Sale Push: wanted to repair, hard pushed towards replacement. Home heat stress on family and me contributed to poor decision-making: normal I would repair, price out new systems, and get 3-qty quotes from different companies. Overprice Catalog: units and cost presented wear overpriced, extreme mark-up. Fault Representation: I was led to believe, I was selecting a 2-stage AC unit, but model on sale paper work was a single stage. (Only after researching model number, I was aware the purchase order had a single stage model) Installation: 2-man-installation-crew was professional and courteous but not-regular-truck was not well equipped. (They worked in uncomfortable temperatures, truck missing AC pad and shock absorbing pads.) I should not have extended the trust I had in Home Depot to their AC repair reps. I was ripped off! This company does very poor work. They were the assigned company to install our new AC. They did a terrible job, installed it incorrectly, placed the thermostat in a less than ideal place costing us hundreds of dollars in AC bills because they did it the wrong way. Came out for routine maintenance and said we had a leak. Everything was working fine before he went to inspect it. Wanted to charge 2000 to fix it. The unit they installed LAST year! We payed another company to fill it and there was no leak. The company who fixed it said the did not see a leak, and did not know why we were missing 2 lbs of freon. Hmmm. We were having some problems with our electrical outlets in various areas of our home. Since these were the only people we could find near us they came out and charged us $79 for what they call a "whole house electrical inspection" to figure out what was wrong with our outlets. The guy was maybe 21 and didn't have much of a clue what he was doing. Although very nice. He did not want to do anything that what we homeowners have already done (ie. Check outlets. Replace gfci's, and check breakers.) Now last I checked you call an electrician to do things that you yourself cannot and this was supposed to be an entire house inspection special for $79. So we opened our garage and pulled out the attic ladder and sent him on up. He was so confused on what he was looking at, he had no idea what to say other than "you don't have any power to the outlets" (duh!! that's why we called an electrician to find out why we don't have power to those outlets). Needless to say we didn't get any answers so he said that he would send me an estimate to come back with someone else to follow wires and that i may incur sheet rock damages around outlets and in garage. An estimate which I have yet to receive and here it is 3 weeks later. .. I basically paid these people to tell me something we already knew. I feel like these guys just go around doing what they call electrical inspections at 89 bucks a pop to make their money and never return to do the repair or even send estimates. I have been told everything from the local office is closed (4:30 pm), given a number that was supposed to be a local number but is a different call center. Went to Lowes to price out water heaters, they offer same day install, they are contracted with Will fix it. I was told the technician would call 30 minutes prior to arrival but that didn't happen. Once he arrived the technician informed me that I needed a PRV valve per city ordinance since my house was built in 2014. He then proceeded to look at water heater and provide an estimate. The estimate was for $4400, the water heater and accessories at Lowes was $600... he just wrote parts and labor with various price options for warranty. There was no itemization, he added an expansion tank in addition to PVR valve, when in actuality the expansion tank was all that was needed. Even went as far to say that if he didn't install a PRV valve the city could inspect and lock my water down. He offered me a 10% discount and seemed to think he was providing me an actual discount. I called another plumbing company who verified no PRV valve was needed and charged me less than 1/2 the Will Fix it quote. Never again would I call this company for anything! read more

Called for an 80 year old woman who had no ac. Asked if they could come early in the morning. Woman who answered the phone started she would get them out first thing in morning. 8-12 became 5 pm. When we called the first time to say they never showed up the woman had an attitude. She called at about 4 o'clock to say the driver was on his way but give him an hour. I would give this company ZERO stars but it is not an option. NEVER, EVER USE THIS COMPANY FOR AIRCO OR HEATING. EVER. IF ONLY I HAD KNOWN WHAT A NIGHTMARE THIS WOULD BE In May, 2023 I had to replace my air conditioning and heating units in my San Antonio home. I was told that it could be done in one day. When I asked how that was possible, the marketing director told me it is done all the time. He promised the job would start between 9:30-10am and be done by 5-6:00pm. Two installers arrived the following day at 11am. They worked all day and into the night. They finished at 2:30am. Yes, you read that right. No apologies to the disruption of my day. Right away, I noticed that my home was not cooling properly. My bedroom and bathroom had no air coming out of the vents while the upstairs air was blowing like a cyclone. After multiple calls I finally got through to them and they sent out a repairman. He told me he made some small adjustments, said everything should be fine now, and left. It wasn't. The next day, there was no change at all. Temp was set at 73 but my downstairs was 80 at 5pm. I called again. Another repairman came out a week later. He said there was a small hole in the duct upstairs coming from the unit and he fixed it. He checked the air coming out of vents in my bedroom and bathroom and said it was normal. The next day, again, the temp in the house was 80 and 5pm and no air in my room. I called again. The receptionist said no one was available to talk to me but she would send emails out to all the managers so this could be resolved right away. No one called me. 3 days later I called again and was told AGAIN that no manager is available. Instead, they put me on the phone with a customer services rep. She apologized and said that they will get this fixed right away and would send out someone "with experience." So who did they send? It was the same guy who came out the first time and told me everything was fine after making small adjustments. He looked at me and said, "Was I here before, you look familiar?" This time, he looked at my unit and told me that the installers had put the vents on the wrong side of the unit and that the airflow was backwards, and that was what was causing my problems. He even showed me a picture of the instructions sticker on the unit. That showed the direction the air flow should go, and then a pic of the unit showing it was indeed placed incorrectly. There was also a tear in my duct. He documented his findings and said management would hear about this. He walked away chuckling. A few days later, the original installer shows up and he tells me that the airflow is FINE! "It can go in either direction. There is probably something wrong with your duct system." My duct system worked fine until the installation! My bedroom used to be cool at night! I never had to sweat in my bathroom. He goes to his truck to get a ladder.. then he comes back and says he called the company and a manager will come to my house to meet with me personally and they will come immediately. He said he would not go up and check the duct system for me or repair the new tear he just found in the duct upstairs. Then he drives away. That was 2 and a half weeks ago. Today, after no call back or response of any kind, I called WE Fix It AGAIN and and asked to speak with the a manager (there are at least 4 of them).. I was put on hold for 5 minutes. The receptionist tells me she can't find anyone who I can talk to but "someone" will call me back.. I'm still waiting here in my 80 degree living room.... OH AND ONE LAST THING.. THE MARKETING DIRECTOR TOLD ME THAT IF I EVER HAVE A PROBLEM AND CALL THEM THE COMPANY WILL RETURN MY CALL WITHIN 24 HOURS. Riiiiiiiight... First, I need everyone to know that my initial contact with the ladies over the phone was positive and the technicians were knowledgeable and friendly. They replaced a Goodman hard start kit for my ac condenser at $348.00. And a contacter at $322.00. Total $670.00. I just went online - a hard start kit is only around $50.00 and a contactor is around $20.00. I called Will Fix It and spoke with the manager to addressed my concern about the charges. The manager - Eddie, was polite and attentive. He explained the reason for the high cost is due to the service charge. ( Pls note that I'm not expecting them to just charge me dirt cheap as I am aware electricians are normally expensive due to the dangers of doing electrical work and massive insurance costs.) Before I could continue to ask him for a detailed itemized receipt for those charges, Eddie made an extremely offensive remark after realizing I am Chinese which left me shocked and speechless: He said: " oh, do you also eat cat on a stick?" This totally caught me off guard. Instead of resolving my dispute, he brought this on to another level, and added more fuel to the fire. The comment was ignorant, irresponsible and uncalled for. In these socially tense times, I find it stunning that a manager of any professional company would choose to make such racist, offensive comment! Especially the comments were made to a customer who just spent 670.00 plus 169.00 (membership package). Finally, I feel obligated to post this review and let everyone know my experience. Will Fix It has a duty to address this serious issue to all managers. There's absolutely no excuse for Eddie's disgusting racially motivated remark, anf should not be tolerated. RACISM IS NOT OKAY. UPDATED REVIEW - was 5 stars and knocked down to 1 Look for other quotes - Cost are high!!! My husband and I were shocked with the estimates to install new toilets. We compared their rates with Home Depot and other local plumbing businesses. Needless to say, we went elsewhere for the toilet install. Will fix would not pick up or dump the toilets, which was another reason we went with a different business. I recommend Home Depot and Lowe's. You can buy item online and pay for install. Will Fix It came out immediately and put a new ac system when our system was not working. One day later it stopped working. I called that day to schedule someone to come out and fix it. They said all technicians were busy but they would be here at 8am the next morning. No one showed up. I called the service number again and found out the dispatch unit is in Houston not San Antonio. They do not communicate between each other. I do not recommend this company. Our ac was finally fixed after we drive to the office in San Antonio and talked directly to the dispatcher in SA. Bobby, the senior technician advisor, is the one who finally came out and knew immediately what was wrong with the ac. 10 stars for Bobby..0 stars for this company. read more

I initially had them come out to work on a pipe which burst in front of my home. I was pleased because it worked and did what a pipe should do. The plumber reassured me this would last for decades, if not indefinitely. I felt like I overpaid, but peace of mind is important to me, so it was worth it. 2 years after my service the exact same pipe they installed burst. When I called they told me they only have a 1 year labor and parts guarantee. The guarantee is fine, as that seems to be consistent in the industry, what is not okay is how the new plumber I had come out had nothing but confusion when seeing the work Will Fix It did. I spoke to a manager and his tone was just to tell me it's too late to do anything about the work unless I want to have someone else come out. Why would I overpay and risk the same low quality work? My complaint is the lack of care and quality this company provided me. Do not trust Will Fix It to offer you competent and honest service. We called about an issue where we were spontaneously losing power in just one room of the house. it would go out for months and the. randomly come back on for a week or two and go out again. a technician came out and assured us that we needed an entirely new exterior power box because our current one wasn't capable of powering the whole home. this cost around $5,000. We trusted them and even though we didn't have that kind of money we took out a loan to get the work done. not even a month later and we once again lose power in that same room and it won't come back on anymore. They don't send technicians to your home, they send salespeople who only care about taking advantage of you and making you pay money you don't have for something you don't need. Do not trust them to give you an honest quote. either that or they employ technicians that don't know what they are doing. I hope the commission he received was nice. he also promised to come and replace some of our very dated wall outlets for free and we never heard from him again. read more

I had a terrible plumbing experience with this plumber. First, they misdiagnose a problem with a water heater. Then, they charge for a service call when the water heater was under warranty. Some days later, when they send another plumber to complete the work the first plumbers misdiagnosed, he is unable to complete the job because an electrician should have initially been requested by the first plumbers. The electrician was able to correct the problem in a 15 minute visit. Save your money by NOT calling Will Fix-It--they "Won't Fix-It" because they don't know how! Terrible company about which I heard several horror stories before being compelled to call them by the manufacturer. I knew they would screw up the job, and that's exactly what they did. read more

We had Will Fix It install a water heater in August in our home in Bulverde, TX . We learned from another contractor (who received an electrical shock when doing additional work at our house after the water heater was installed) that the water heater was wired incorrectly which could have led to dire consequences...someone being electrocuted or our house burning down. Called and they said Francisco will be there between 12-2 pm. No communication on the change. again, the response was "we will escalate". We are likely going to go to a more reliable service. We called because we received an offer for a drain clean out for $69.00. Well the experience in the end was a very argumentative technician named "Gil", that blamed us other than the person whom took our information and made out appointment. We specifically told the dispatcher that we lived in a mobile Home, and need a drain clean out and if we qualified, she said yes and made our appointment. Gil comes in tells us it's under the mobile home and doesn't want to do that, then he asks where the drain is slow and we tell him it's the shower drain, he then tells me he will run an estimate... wait an estimate?! Well from $69.00 he quickly rose to almost $350.00, when we told him no he said he would still have to charge us something, Really, how and for what??? He told us that because we couldn't do the drain clean out we had to pay for him coming out, lol! When we explained that we weren't responsible for his dispatcher giving the wrong info he continues arguing with us and explaining that he has so many years experience doing this and it's not the dispatchers fault but ours for not knowing. I told him how upset I was getting with his arguing and he tells me how upset he is he had to come out here. I asked him to get out of my home . The technician went to check a toiled because it had stopped working and he gave me an estimate for $1000.00 letting me know he needed to change the toilet because there was calcium build up. I mentioned to him that the toiled is just 7 years old and toilets can last 30 years except for the components that are really cheap to replace. I did not hire them. Critical: Quality, Responsiveness Prior to being sold, it was quick and easy to get a hold of someone "LOCAL" and great customer service. Well you can no longer reach them locally, meaning you have to reach the call center, listen to the "wonderful your on hold music" for 10 minutes, then they make the call to put you in touch with someone locally, so now your on hold once again for another 10 minutes only to find out that they are not answering. So now they tell you that they will send an email to inform them to call you, well that was 30 mins ago and still no call. Meanwhile it's 96* out and my tenants have no AC. Price gouging to the max. The plumber cut a hole in my wall to get to the leak of the bathroom. He plugged the pipe, he was done in less than 10 minutes. The cost was $1000. That included a courtesy discount. Now I'm left to fix the hole on the wall. I realize plumbers don't do drywall, but $1000 just to plug the leak sounds outrageous. Lesson learned. read more

My experience with Will Fix It was absolutely awful. (1) I called at 9am for an appointment and was given a 10am to 2pm window for a plumbing emergency. (2) No one showed up for that window, so I called back at 4pm and was told a service technician would be calling me back with an ETA shortly. (3) I waited 90 minutes and called back because I never received a call from anyone and was told I wasn't on the schedule at all. (4) I was then told a technician would come between 5pm and 9pm. (5) At 6:23pm, I received a call that no one could come today. I was told that the scheduling company doesn't really know if they have availability. I wasted an entire day waiting for no one to show up and was left with the plumbing emergency. WILL FIX IT COULDN'T HAVE WORSE SERVICE.
