Called for an 80 year old woman who had no ac. Asked if they could come early in the morning. Woman who answered the phone started she would get them out first thing in morning. 8-12 became 5 pm. When we called the first time to say they never showed up the woman had an attitude. She called at about 4 o'clock to say the driver was on his way but give him an hour. At this point we had called someone else who was prompt and fixed the issue. Not a way to do business. read more

I would give this company ZERO stars but it is not an option. NEVER, EVER USE THIS COMPANY FOR AIRCO OR HEATING. EVER. IF ONLY I HAD KNOWN WHAT A NIGHTMARE THIS WOULD BE In May, 2023 I had to replace my air conditioning and heating units in my San Antonio home. I was told that it could be done in one day. When I asked how that was possible, the marketing director told me it is done all the time. He promised the job would start between 9:30-10am and be done by 5-6:00pm. Two installers arrived the following day at 11am. They worked all day and into the night. They finished at 2:30am. Yes, you read that right. No apologies to the disruption of my day. Right away, I noticed that my home was not cooling properly. My bedroom and bathroom had no air coming out of the vents while the upstairs air was blowing like a cyclone. After multiple calls I finally got through to them and they sent out a repairman. He told me he made some small adjustments, said everything should be fine now, and left. It wasn't. The next day, there was no change at all. Temp was set at 73 but my downstairs was 80 at 5pm. I called again. Another repairman came out a week later. He said there was a small hole in the duct upstairs coming from the unit and he fixed it. He checked the air coming out of vents in my bedroom and bathroom and said it was normal. The next day, again, the temp in the house was 80 and 5pm and no air in my room. I called again. The receptionist said no one was available to talk to me but she would send emails out to all the managers so this could be resolved right away. No one called me. 3 days later I called again and was told AGAIN that no manager is available. Instead, they put me on the phone with a customer services rep. She apologized and said that they will get this fixed right away and would send out someone "with experience." So who did they send? It was the same guy who came out the first time and told me everything was fine after making small adjustments. He looked at me and said, "Was I here before, you look familiar?" This time, he looked at my unit and told me that the installers had put the vents on the wrong side of the unit and that the airflow was backwards, and that was what was causing my problems. He even showed me a picture of the instructions sticker on the unit. That showed the direction the air flow should go, and then a pic of the unit showing it was indeed placed incorrectly. There was also a tear in my duct. He documented his findings and said management would hear about this. He walked away chuckling. A few days later, the original installer shows up and he tells me that the airflow is FINE! "It can go in either direction. There is probably something wrong with your duct system." My duct system worked fine until the installation! My bedroom used to be cool at night! I never had to sweat in my bathroom. He goes to his truck to get a ladder.. then he comes back and says he called the company and a manager will come to my house to meet with me personally and they will come immediately. He said he would not go up and check the duct system for me or repair the new tear he just found in the duct upstairs. Then he drives away. That was 2 and a half weeks ago. Today, after no call back or response of any kind, I called WE Fix It AGAIN and and asked to speak with the a manager (there are at least 4 of them).. I was put on hold for 5 minutes. The receptionist tells me she can't find anyone who I can talk to but "someone" will call me back.. I'm still waiting here in my 80 degree living room.... OH AND ONE LAST THING.. THE MARKETING DIRECTOR TOLD ME THAT IF I EVER HAVE A PROBLEM AND CALL THEM THE COMPANY WILL RETURN MY CALL WITHIN 24 HOURS. Riiiiiiiight... Will Fix It came out immediately and put a new ac system when our system was not working. One day later it stopped working. I called that day to schedule someone to come out and fix it. They said all technicians were busy but they would be here at 8am the next morning. No one showed up. I called the service number again and found out the dispatch unit is in Houston not San Antonio. They do not communicate between each other. I do not recommend this company. Our ac was finally fixed after we drive to the office in San Antonio and talked directly to the dispatcher in SA. First, I need everyone to know that my initial contact with the ladies over the phone was positive and the technicians were knowledgeable and friendly. They replaced a Goodman hard start kit for my ac condenser at $348.00. And a contacter at $322.00. Total $670.00. I just went online - a hard start kit is only around $50.00 and a contactor is around $20.00. I called Will Fix It and spoke with the manager to addressed my concern about the charges. The manager - Eddie, was polite and attentive. He explained the reason for the high cost is due to the service charge. ( Pls note that I'm not expecting them to just charge me dirt cheap as I am aware electricians are normally expensive due to the dangers of doing electrical work and massive insurance costs.) Before I could continue to ask him for a detailed itemized receipt for those charges, Eddie made an extremely offensive remark after realizing I am Chinese which left me shocked and speechless: He said: " oh, do you also eat cat on a stick?" This totally caught me off guard. Instead of resolving my dispute, he brought this on to another level, and added more fuel to the fire. The comment was ignorant, irresponsible and uncalled for. In these socially tense times, I find it stunning that a manager of any professional company would choose to make such racist, offensive comment! Especially the comments were made to a customer who just spent 670.00 plus 169.00 (membership package). Finally, I feel obligated to post this review and let everyone know my experience. Will Fix It has a duty to address this serious issue to all managers. There's absolutely no excuse for Eddie's disgusting racially motivated remark, anf should not be tolerated. RACISM IS NOT OKAY. Do not trust Will Fix It to offer you competent and honest service. We called about an issue where we were spontaneously losing power in just one room of the house. it would go out for months and the. randomly come back on for a week or two and go out again. a technician came out and assured us that we needed an entirely new exterior power box because our current one wasn't capable of powering the whole home. this cost around $5,000. We trusted them and even though we didn't have that kind of money we took out a loan to get the work done. not even a month later and we once again lose power in that same room and it won't come back on anymore. They don't send technicians to your home, they send salespeople who only care about taking advantage of you and making you pay money you don't have for something you don't need. Do not trust them to give you an honest quote. either that or they employ technicians that don't know what they are doing. I initially had them come out to work on a pipe which burst in front of my home. I was pleased because it worked and did what a pipe should do. The plumber reassured me this would last for decades, if not indefinitely. I felt like I overpaid, but peace of mind is important to me, so it was worth it. 2 years after my service the exact same pipe they installed burst. When I called they told me they only have a 1 year labor and parts guarantee. The guarantee is fine, as that seems to be consistent in the industry, what is not okay is how the new plumber I had come out had nothing but confusion when seeing the work Will Fix It did. I spoke to a manager and his tone was just to tell me it's too late to do anything about the work unless I want to have someone else come out. Why would I overpay and risk the same low quality work? My complaint is the lack of care and quality this company provided me. I had a terrible plumbing experience with this plumber. First, they misdiagnose a problem with a water heater. Then, they charge for a service call when the water heater was under warranty. Some days later, when they send another plumber to complete the work the first plumbers misdiagnosed, he is unable to complete the job because an electrician should have initially been requested by the first plumbers. The electrician was able to correct the problem in a 15 minute visit. Save your money by NOT calling Will Fix-It--they "Won't Fix-It" because they don't know how! We learned from another contractor (who received an electrical shock when doing additional work at our house after the water heater was installed) that the water heater was wired incorrectly which could have led to dire consequences...someone being electrocuted or our house burning down. Price gouging to the max. The plumber cut a hole in my wall to get to the leak of the bathroom. He plugged the pipe, he was done in less than 10 minutes. The cost was $1000. We called because we received an offer for a drain clean out for $69.00. Well the experience in the end was a very argumentative technician named "Gil", that blamed us other than the person whom took our information and made out appointment. My experience with Will Fix It was absolutely awful. (1) I called at 9am for an appointment and was given a 10am to 2pm window for a plumbing emergency. (2) No one showed up for that window, so I called back at 4pm and was told a service technician would be calling me back with an ETA shortly. (3) I waited 90 minutes and called back because I never received a call from anyone and was told I wasn't on the schedule at all. (4) I was then told a technician would come between 5pm and 9pm. (5) At 6:23pm, I received a call that no one could come today. I was told that the scheduling company doesn't really know if they have availability. I wasted an entire day waiting for no one to show up and was left with the plumbing emergency. WILL FIX IT COULDN'T HAVE WORSE SERVICE. The technician went to check a toiled because it had stopped working and he gave me an estimate for $1000.00 letting me know he needed to change the toilet because there was calcium build up. I mentioned to him that the toiled is just 7 years old and toilets can last 30 years except for the components that are really cheap to replace. I did not hire them. You may have seen my earlier review which obviously showed my dissatisfaction with this company. I now can say they seem to have fixed all the problems. But it took over 2 months. One major problem is related to scheduling: call center people are located in several states and e mail service offices who may or may not see the e mails. So, your scheduled appt may or may not happen as promised even if you call several times to confirm. Another problem is that installation people seem to be over scheduled so may be trying to rush through installations and cutting corners even though they have very good ideas on how to do a very good installation in awkward locations. We had several problems requiring several call backs and repairs for over 2 months. QA people promised callbacks but seldom followed through. But again, after 2+ months, we think they finally got it right read more

Critical: Quality, Responsiveness Prior to being sold, it was quick and easy to get a hold of someone "LOCAL" and great customer service. Well you can no longer reach them locally, meaning you have to reach the call center, listen to the "wonderful your on hold music" for 10 minutes, then they make the call to put you in touch with someone locally, so now your on hold once again for another 10 minutes only to find out that they are not answering. So now they tell you that they will send an email to inform them to call you, well that was 30 mins ago and still no call. Meanwhile it's 96* out and my tenants have no AC. They did that and charge us $581 for the job .The technician connected the Freezer and the breaker did not work. The serviceman was friendly, and they were very prompt, with appointments available the next day. We were using their $49 A/C tuneup because summer is no time to lose your cool in South Texas. The serviceman proceeded to tell us we were 5# low on coolant and had a burnt freon line. He said our unit in the attic looked newer than the house but was a generic brand. He recommended replacing inside and outside units to the tune of $15k. We called our home warranty and for 1# of freon, a couple of parts, and 1.5 hours of labor we were back in the coolness. It only cost us $120 total. Will Fix It was just using their $49 tune up as a gimmick to sell expensive equipment and labor. It doesn't get more uncool than that. read more

At 2:40 I called to check status at which point he told me they were busy on another job and couldn't make today. We had them come out and do a drain clean and camera inspection. Invoice says "unclogged on first attempt." Next day the line is clogged again without having put anything down the sink besides water. Called them to let them know that they didn't actually clear out the line and initially they agree to come out and make it right. The plumber they send out was condescending, rude, and arrogant from the beginning. One of his first questions was whether we rent or own, because that is important to know when fixing a drain clog (we own, but that is besides the point). Demands to see the invoice and claims he can't do anything because they don't warranty their work. He will only run a line again if we agree to pay for the work again. He found the problem right away and fixed it. He even tried to call Payne to see if we had a warranty unfortunately we didn't but the price was still superb. Not sure why they have almost 5 star reviews. 1 Star for Setting up my first service on timely manner. Couple weeks ago, we had issue with thr water running slow in my home. Since I had families over, I decided to call Well Fix iT based on their 4.5 star reviews. Upon analysis, the service guy confirmed it was water softner. Since I expressed interest on new water softener, the guy immediately calls his manager and confirms my new same exact water softner cost to replace and install on the same day is $3K. If I decide not to go with the option and just have him place loop through for bypassing the water, it would cost me $450 and the price for installing a new new 60gal water softner would be $4463. I had no choice but to go with the temperory option as the guy speculated that it could also be an aerator issue. Ended up being watersoftner issue and having my final bill of $450. At this point, I didnt want to pass any judgement even though the cost for that loop was barely $30-50 and no way service should be 10 times the cost. So another judgement day (2 days after their first service). I happened to call them up for water heater issue through Home Depot as aparently they are preferred contractor through local home depot. I went ahead and scheduled their service for an estimate at no additional cost. While setting up service I requested them to speak with the manager about the service charge I had regarding water issue. Manager spoke with me and ensured he would call back after he speaks with the service guy. He failed to respond back, and in fact none showed up for the next scheduled service for water heater estimation. They not only lost me as a their customer but also lost 2 contracts - Installing new Water Softener and new Water Heater. I strongly suggest to go with Immediate Response Plumbing and Rooter Services - one of the preferred vendors for American Homeshield as well. read more
