Another company said they would only rebuild the entire fireplace and chimney. We never intend to use the fireplace and just needed to protect it from weather and creatures getting in. (We couldn't afford a complete rebuild in any case.) Lifetime Chimney saved us! They completed some repairing so they could install a cover/ cap, and they pressure washed the chimney. Miguel did an excellent job and was very kind. When I first called in, I spoke with Brian who was incredibly helpful! I was worried when I called in, but Brian explained what they needed to do. He diagnosed an issue with my gas stove needing a new control valve. I spoke with the owner (after 4 days of responding to emails and phone call attempts) and I paid for 1/2 of this job up front so he would order the part needed for my stove. 4 weeks went by and I'd heard nothing. Gave them a call and the number was disconnected. 450 is what I paid up front.... So I disputed it with the credit card company to get my money back. Thank God I didn't pay with a debit card. It's super interesting because I was gonna have a mini split installed in my ADU by them only to never here back... be warned.
