I can honestly say I had an outstanding experience with Falvo Funeral Home in Webster NY for recent (February 2017) services for my dad. Though this was a difficult time for us, I must say that everyone made the experience outstanding. The end to end experience was simply better than best. Everyone was pleasant, attentive, professional, and understanding. Diana Falvo and Rick Falvo were particularly great. Their energy and people skills are exemplary, Moreover, the home was like a French country house in a beautiful setting that was impeccably clean, beautifully furnished, and with plenty of parking. Their pricing was completely transparent and very reasonable - particularly for the service and the setting. I highly recommend anyone in the Rochester area that wants a beautiful service, in a great setting, at a reasonable price.

When it became time to seek out a funeral home for the passing of my wife's mother we looked around…read morewebster and saw there were a couple options. Being unprepared we started asking a few friends about the experiences they had with funeral homes in the area. The one name that came recommended multiple times was falvo's. Well we had been there a few times and if you have seen the building your first thought would probably be similar to mine which was we couldn't afford to go there. So we decided to call the smaller funeral homes in the area first and after the first two phone calls we noticed two things; prices apparently vary pretty significantly and even though this should be a time of compassion both calls were extremely business like with no sorry for your loss and a lot of talk about money and it being required at the time of our meeting. Well that all changed when we finally decided to call the falvo's. Within the first breathe of me explaining the situation I was FINALLY greeted with a very sorry for your loss and at this time I can answer as many questions you may have. It may sound simple but that was the first time I felt comfortable in these conversations. After a few minutes of discussing our options and the price differences we were shocked to find that not only were they extremely caring but their cost for the same services was less than the two other funeral homes. I can not explain how grateful we are for making her look so beautiful that we ended up keeping the casket open even though she had been sick for so long we didn't think it was going to be possible. We will always recommend this funeral home now just like they were to us.

Im not one for leaving bad reveiws but let me tell you, this place was a real peice of work!…read more #1 when we was making arangements, i thought we'd walked into fight club. We could hear two fellas upstairs screaming at each other like cats in a bag! The poor woman tryin to help us was looking like she was about to pass out from embarsment. I could hear em arguing the whole time. It was so unproessional, specially with how much we payed. #2 the day of the funeral things aint any better. My boys been having a rough time of it and was fitting to pass out. I go to look for a place for him to cool off, so i see this old fella standing around doing nothing. I ask him if there is a private room we could get my boy in?? This guy starts goin off and rising his voice. When I tried explain what was goin on he started shouting over me about how he was the owner and he'd have me thrown out. That was the last draw. I told him forget it but that didnt calm him down none. He kept screaming louder following me down the hall. Thats when I realized I heard the voice before and sure enough it was the same fella that was yelling at someone upstairs the week before!! I dont know what kind of place this is but i sure wont ever be back. There aint no one should be treated like that, specially on one of the hardest days of your life.

Both the brothers were wonderful, but Michael was my funeral director. So lucky i called them first! Little did I know such an awesome reputation Bartolomeo and Perotto! The death of my 33-year-old son was a tragedy, but so pleased with Michael; his compassion and understanding ability are unmatched, getting me through all the complicated arrangements with a different funeral home in Los Angeles and shipping ashes back. Shawn and his father Allan are two of the kindest people I have ever met, this funeral home is…read morenothing but kind, comforting, loving, and they go out of their way to make everything right for the family. It was such an easy process and they went out of their way to be accommodating to the family. My father's funeral service was just beautiful and Shawn comforted us and made a horrible situation so comforting. My mother and I were so moved by everything they did for us. Shawn and his team were extremely responsive and made the most difficult part of our lives easier. When we walked into the funeral parlor we were overwhelmed with emotion as they they had collected pictures from all of our family and had them beautifully displayed all around the room and in a slide show. They also took the initiative to make a guest book that had photos in it, golf cards customized to my grandfather as he was an avid golfer, and honored his service to the Rochester Fire Department with cards that even had the engine that he drove on it. Shawn and his team ensured that no detail was missed. They were extremely supportive and attentive to our families every need and honored my grandfathers life in a way that I could have never imagined.
