The 3 of us got a warm welcome when we walked through the door. We sat at a comfy table inside, although there's outdoor seating available (that's for wintertime, haha). We started with iced coffees which were so wonderful: biscoff cookie lattes! 2 of us had sandwiches on Cuban bread that they get from a local bakery known for their bread (sorry I can't remember the bakery name). The BEC had thick and crispy bacon and loads of cheese in perfectly cooked eggs. The Charred Broccolini Melt had large pieces of broccolini in a tasty sea of melted cheese, and it was devine! The chicken salad on sourdough was loaded with pulled chicken with very little filler. The chips were the best we've had (there was enough for all 3 of us to nibble on); they were hot and sprinkled with a taste of Old Bay, salt and pepper and yeast. Just omg. Our waitress, Paige, was professional, friendly and very kind to an elderly member of our party. She's definitely an asset to the restaurant! This is a great find in a fun part of Tampa! read more

I've been to their coffee shop before, but I didn't realize that a restaurant was attached! Very lively and lovely spot, my only complaint was about the wait being a little long, but that's to be expected on a Sunday morning with everyone having a family brunch. Brought my mom and my aunt here, and we got some drinks while we waited for our table, the drinks were a bit pricey and not too generous, especially for the espresso martini. However it was worth the wait for the amazing food that we got! We split the sourdough french toast which was unbelievable! I loved the combination of sweet and savory with the ricotta and lemon curd, so delicious, and what's even better is that it was sourdough!! My steak and eggs were so delicious, with an outstanding chimmichurri sauce. The bacon egg and cheese sandwich was also very flavorful, and don't even get me started on those grits, mm mm mmm! Willa's was a new place I tried with a friend for brunch. We sat at the bar, just something more casual for the day. I thought the ambiance and restaurant style was very cute and bright. There is a coffee shop portion to the business and then another area is the restaurant portion. People were studying on one side and the other they were eating food and enjoying each other! The service was okay. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt considering the bartender said they were down someone.. she was definitely busy and tried her best. I'm sure it's better on a day they are less busy. Now onto the food... the mac n cheese was phenomenal!!!! Sooo good. The chicken salad was also great. The Bloody Mary tasted like shrimp cocktail. Finally checked out Willa's and it happened to be their 2 year anniversary! The only reason why I gave it 3 stars is that the service wasn't that great. I had reservations at 12:15 pm and we didn't get seated until 12:40 pm ish. On top of that, our drinks took forever too, and noticed the other table who sat later than us, got their drinks... It was nice and fluffy. I was debating between the special, which is the duck risotto and the rotisserie chicken. But I was told that this place was known for the rotisserie chicken. And the rotisserie chicken did not disappoint. All the pieces were and juicy. The salsa Verde on top was the amount of tang and herbs to the chicken. It was well seasoned. And the french fries are nice and crispy. The chicken schnitzel was also pretty good. It was nice and crispy in the outside and the broccolini was well flavored. The only critique I have on the chicken schnitzel is that I think that the chicken breast could be marinated in order to get the flavor throughout the chicken before frying and battering it. Otherwise, a great dish as well. For dessert, we got the strawberry rhubarb soft serve. I think that the soft serve taste mostly like strawberry with a hint of rhubarb. I would like a stronger rhubarb taste if it was going to be advertised as a rhubarb soft serve. However, the texture was nice and creamy and soft. I would've never thought that it was dairy free because of creamy it was. Would still give it a huge recommendation. Service: 5/5 our server was super kind and very patient. Efficient and accommodating. Food came out really fast. If our server wasn't nearby, another server would come by to make sure they were doing OK and if we need anything. A group of 4 of us went to Willa's on a Friday night - I made a reservation ahead of time. First the restaurant is soooo cute- i love the decor and ambiance! I had the Aperol spritz on tap ... yummmmmm so good, and my party had some other cocktails which were also yummy. The staff was super friendly and welcomed us with smiling faces as soon as we walked in. The interior design of the space is gorgeous and of course I had to take all the pics (don't forget to check out the cute bathroom)! I started with the Strawberry Spritz to drink (aperol, prosecco, orange) and it was tasty and refreshing -- gotta have bubbles with my brunch! I also started with the hazelnut ricotta toast which was pretty simple but very yummy. for our mains, my husband ordered the Café Breakfast ($23 -- eggs with choice of meat or avocado, with side salad, brioche toast, chili cheese grits) and I went for Nate's Plate ($22 -- two potato latkes, soft scrambled eggs, half avocado, garlic aioli, herbs and onions with house cured salmon gravlax). Our server raved about the potato latkes and he wasn't joking -- they are amazing! We were kinda surprised by how expensive the brunch entrees were especially just being breakfast food. Willa's was my choice for my birthday dinner. Named 2022's best new restaurant in Tampa by Tampa Magazine, Willa's offers up magnificent, tasty dishes in a trendy atmosphere with excellent service. My wife and I had a 7 pm reservation on Thursday for my birthday. After looking at many different places, Willa's seemed like a perfect fit. Affordable. Menu items that were intriguing and inviting and a unique drink selection. We arrived about 20 minutes early and we sat immediately. It wasn't too busy. Our waitress was around promptly and welcomed us. She brought a glass bottle of water and let us look over the menu for drinks. My wife went with the soft sangria. I went with the black Manhattan. The drinks were up quickly. The soft sangria was fantastic. Sweet and slightly bubbly. The standout for me in this was the cinnamon. It was a forward flavor and it worked perfectly. My wife highly enjoyed it. What I liked, compared to other alcohol-free mixed drinks, is that it wasn't overly sweet or syrupy. It was smooth and drank well. My black Manhattan packed a punch. This manhattan was made with Jack Daniels Tennesee Whiskey triple mash. Instead of vermouth, a china-china was used. This sweet and bitter liqueur added a fruity, earthy depth. Also in this was Averna, another bitter liqueur that added spice and more flavor. On top of all that, the china-china is aged 3 weeks in-house, in a barrel up on the wall behind the bar. This drink was strong but I enjoyed it. You should try this. For an appetizer, we started with the three-cheese macaroni. Perfectly cooked noodles smothered in gruyere, cheddar, and provolone. It was saucy and savory. The top was perfectly baked, adding that crunchy, oven-baked taste. This is worth a try as well. It's a decent serving for $12. When it came to my dinner, I was conflicted. The smash burger looked good. The steak looked amazing. I love Schnitzel. In the end, I wanted to try something Willa's specializes in and that is rotisserie chicken. Their signature slow-roasted chicken dish is delectable. The chicken was juicy and had a rich herb taste to it. The seasoning was excellent and the skin was slightly crispy. This half chicken is served bone-in. You'll have a leg, thigh, and breast packed onto the plate. It's covered in a salsa Verde that adds a citrus level to it. On the side are the frites that Willa loves so much. I love them too. Thin and crispy. Not overly greasy. Lightly salted. My wife ordered the panko-crusted chicken schnitzel. Packed on her plate was a large, flat, perfectly crispy thin chicken breast. The panko crust had that crunch. With a squeeze of lemon and lightly salted, this was also pretty great. Her meal also came with a side of Frites. Accompanying our Frites was a garlic aioli. This sauce was rich and creamy. It had a subtle garlic flavor and was excellent with the fries. We wanted the recipe. Our meals were great and we were starting to get full. We did something we don't normally do and we got dessert. Half of our dinners got boxed up. For dessert, we ordered the Chocolate Oatmeal Pie. This came with a side of whipped cream. I think both of us were expecting a housemade version of the Little Debbie classic. When this plate arrived, we were a little confused but dug in. Thinking back on it, this was probably what a traditional oatmeal pie would have looked like. Dense, mildly sweet oatmeal packed into a flaky buttery pie crust. This was an actual slice of pie. Not some circular, cream-filled pastry. Between the pie and the crust on the bottom was a thin layer of chocolate. Take a bite and dip in the whipped cream. It wasn't as sweet as we were expecting but we enjoyed it. Our entire experience here was great. Willa's has a cool vibe. Boho, clean and fresh, with what appears to be hand-painted art on the walls. It's Christmas time, so Christmas décor was up. Refined but laid back and had that neighborhood, friendly go-to place feel. The staff greeted regulars like friends. The entire time, our waitress was around periodically, asking how things were. Our water glasses never dried. She was courteous and kind. Everyone that brought out food was also friendly and service was quick. Food took a shorter time than I expected. Another aspect I liked when researching Willa's is their business model. Employee first. The food service industry can be rough and tough. Low wages, overworked, and less than favorable working conditions. You can see the dedication this business puts into the employees shine through in their work, care for the customers and place of business, and the food and drink. You should go to Willa's. We popped in to Willa's for lunch in the days leading up to Christmas. Two seats at the bar were selected for us from the host, the place was busy! We selected the Croque Madame and the Smash Cheeseburger for entrees. The Croque is made with the most superb bread that is driven in daily from Miami. The sandwich wholly was the star of the meal. Flavorful and well constructed, quantity & proportioned perfectly for a hearty meal, there was no disappointment here! Skip the Smashburer IMO. Served on an English muffin, the burger itself was way underwhelming and skinny, it kind of resembled a small hockeypuck style of burger. The big standout was the fresh piece of butter lettuce on top. Big MEH for 17.00. The fries were also meh, nothing special and rather crispy for shoestring. Absolutely amazing lunch. We were in the area getting my oil changed, so we decided to stop by for lunch. I called ahead of time to reserve a table. The woman at the host stand must have thought I was crazy, because when we arrived we discovered it was pretty much empty. Turns out on a Friday ad 11:30 you will have no problem being seated immediately. Inside reminded me of a classic cafe. I think I was expecting it to be a little more fancy, but it's not. Even though it isn't fancy, the menu is still on the more expensive side, but I appreciate that it doesn't feel pretentious. My husband got the steak frites and I got the classic omelet. The fries with his steak were to die for. I would order it again just for the fries. The steak was really good too. He got the non rib-eye one (the waitress explained that the cut is on the top of the butt, which doesn't sound the most appetizing, but in actuality, it is) and the sauce it came with was really good. My omelet was also very well made, not overdone like you would find at a diner. I also got an EspressNO martini, which was essentially an espresso martini without the alcohol (they have non alcoholic drinks that seem like alcoholic drinks for the sober one in the group). I don't know why I was hoping for it not to taste like a martini, even though it's called a martini. Clearly my brain wasn't working. I ended up not really enjoying the drink, but I finished it so I could get the caffeine. But if you miss the taste of an espresso martini and just don't want it to get you buzzed, this will do the trick (like nonalcoholic wine, which I really don't understand, but to each their own). I was looking for a happy hour to catch up with a friend and celebrate some recent achievements, when we found Willa's. they were able to accommodate us, and it was close by so my friend and I decided to give it a try. Willa's has two concepts: the restaurant and bar portion (Willa's), and the coffee shop and Café portion (Willa's Provisions). Willa's boasts plenty of seating, and at 5 PM on a Wednesday, we had no trouble getting a table for two. Our server, Madeline, brought us water and menus, but we had to ask for the happy hour menu. The happy hour specials were nothing to get too excited over. It was $2 off their $12 glass of sangria, two dollars off any of their snacks or appetizers, and then e$8 or $9 for their house martini or daiquiri. I was told that Wednesdays are burger night where they offer a special burger in addition to the one that's on the menu. The night I went in, the burger special was a pork sandwich. That does not interest me but if you're down to try new takes on burgers, give Wednesday's at Willa's a try. My friend and I each got a glass of the sangria (made with rosé), then shared the macaroni and cheese with pork belly, and a house made chips and dip. The food and drinks were all really good. Neither of us had ever tried a sangria made with rosé instead of red or white wine; it was very delicious and a bit tart from pomegranate juice. I understand you might not look at the menu and think "wow, let's get potato chips and dip," but at Willa's you should. The chips were a bit thicker, well seasoned and crispy, and the dip was creamy and flavorful. The macaroni and cheese did not come with breadcrumbs, which is exactly how I like it. They definitely did not skimp on the cheese, however, it definitely needed the pork belly to bring the dish together, and that was an up charge. We split the bill down the middle since we shared everything and it came out to $20 or $25 a person. Overall, the prices and happy hour specials could be better. Despite the quality of the food and drinks, this is definitely not the first place that comes to mind when I think of finding a happy hour special due to the prices. read more

We started with tomato gazpacho and some house pickles. I thought they sounded interesting so got some. Soup was amazing. Really well done. The pickles were interesting. Good as well. The server gave the seasonal coffee rec which is the sweet potato latte. I made mine iced and subbed the whole milk for almond. It was AMAZING! I'm def going back for that. It comes with whole milk to make it more creamy. If my stomach could handle it i would def get it that way, because it would only elevate that creaminess. All of the food we got was amazing. The only complaint i had is the latkes. I was anticipating a true latke but it was just fried hash browns. The apple butter and sour cream was really good though, and it softened the crispiness of the hash. The beef tartare was also drowned in that sauce, i wish the beef stood out a little more. Still, once we had our server she was very kind. The space is cute and very modern. The food is expensive but the portions for main dishes is good. If you're coming with more than one other person and want the biscuit I'd recommend getting two. The disco fries were amazing and a good size for four. The rotisserie chicken was a bit dry but the frites were good. The double smash burger was a 10/10, which surprised me as I was initially nervous to try it; being on an English muffin & all. The Huevos Rancheros were nice, but a bit messy and became soggy. The Steak had a charred taste for being medium well... eggs and latkes were good enough. Chimichurri was a bit of a let down though and didn't mask the burnt meat flavor. Came here on Friday night, we had a reservation but place was pretty empty and they have so many open tables. So not sure if reservation was needed. Service was super nice and attentive. Outdoor doesn't have many umbrellas, so I am not too sure if it would be comfortable especially in the summertime. Indoor was very modern and interesting looking. Unfortunately chairs are extremely uncomfortable, they dig into your skin. I was wearing a dress and naked part of the leg was digging into the chair and was quite uncomfortable. They looked nice but so uncomfortable. Bathroom was very modern looking however a hook for bag was ripped off and paper towels were on the floor. We started with zero proof drinks. My husband had one of their zero proof sangrias, and was very good, I had house tonic. Both drinks were great. Then we had house salad- was exceptional! Absolutely loved the salad. It had the right amount of dressing, crunch and lettuce itself. I had chicken sandwich and my husband had a burger. I asked to replace chips with a side salad. It was a big mistake, side salad was soaked in dressing and was basically non edible. So weird that house salad was so good but side salad was really bad. Sandwich itself was pretty good, definitely enjoyed it. We also had side mushroom which were ok, I also think the sauce was too much. For a dessert had a sold serve ice cream and was delicious. I wasn't a fun of the menu in general, I had to order a sandwich because nothing in the main course looked good to me. And I also think food was overpriced. Sandwiches price was good but not everything else. They had fish for $36, zero proof cocktail -$11, ice cream $9. My side salad that was very bad was $3 extra. The fried oyster was disappointing- being in Florida I wanted some juicy well fried oysters but instead coming in the basket the fried oysters were soggy on the bottom half. I wasn't expecting New Orleans standard but it was below my expectations. I hate soggy fried dishes. The bagel board is on their appetizer section which I find it odd. The way it's plated it's just for one person. When I read bagel board on an appetizer section I would expect something shareable like Sadelle's bagel tower. This is just a regular lox/bagel order for one person at any restaurant. The taste was fine- nothing memorable- it's lox/bagel. WOW, Willa's is a can't miss restaurant in Tampa! I visited with a large group of coworkers and we all had an amazing meal, agreeing it was the best each of us has had in a while. We shared a handful of appetizers and everyone had great reviews for each. I tried the chicken soup and the broccolini side and each were simply delicious. I was extremely excited to learn they have oatmilk soft serve, so even being dairy-free I was able to close out the meal with a cookie crumble sundae. Amazing service, delicious food, and a great space that's unique and classy, without being stuffy or overly pricey. read more

They have it decorated nicely inside and good seating outside. The employees were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the mac and cheese, chicken schnitzel, and rosemary focaccia. The broccolini was okay, but the flavor of the rotisserie was not our favorite. Overall, good experience! read more

Love me some Willa's! This cute cafe style restaurant seems to have everything to offer to someone looking for a good meal. I came for brunch with some girl friends, the ambience is on point. The food was great, I recommend getting the chicken salad skip the fires and get the side of mushrooms. I will literally go back for just a side of mushrooms. They are delicious!! Finally made it to Willa's, and I was delighted with the experience. It is a bright, stylish space in the north-of-Howard area, and it is a great place for a meal or even just drinks. I went with my 3 year old. Our waiter was absolutely lovely and doted upon my daughter. She felt like a princess the whole time. We started with the steak tartare. It was well seasoned. It was served with chips. The chips were a little damp, not sure if that meant they were sitting out for a bit in the Tampa humidity. However, my daughter still ate them! I had the Ora salmon with the broccolini side. The salmon was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The broccolini was absolutely fantastic, my favorite part of an awesome meal. It was cooked exactly al dente, and the lemon and chili complemented it so well. My daughter had the mac and cheese. They brought her a side of fruit that was all nicely ripe berries. She ate all of the berries, but we took most of the mac and cheese home. (We just had too much food for a 3 year old, but I'm not complaining! There is a lot of parking in the private lot. read more

Mother's Day brunch last minute. Willa's squeezed us in. For this we are forever grateful. The setting was perfectly casual and upscale at the same time. Our server (Bailey) was friendly, helpful and efficient. The food was great. My daughter believes she should get a Michelin star for her scrambled eggs and yet she thought Willa's eggs were better than hers. The biscuit and the cruller were fresh and delish. The latkes had a crunchy outside and soft inside. I could have eaten a bowl of the accompanying apple butter. The bagel platter did not wow me. Well presented, it just felt as if it was missing something as I tried to assemble that great bite. The true crowd pleaser: the brunch cocktails. I loved the Neon Moon! And the Bloody Mary was so good, another round was required. Next time we are going for the French toast. It looked fantastic as plate after plate of it walked by. It's funny, I went here originally to go to Willa's Provisions which is the coffee shop in front. But I ended up noticing the restaurant and we decided to eat there instead.IT WAS WELL WORTH IT! Me and my sister came to Fellowship after church and everything was lovely here. The decor is gorgeous very modern with a touch of a retro feel. A lot of spots in and around the building are insta-worthy Me and my sister had the macaroni au gratin and the rotisserie chicken and they were both banging We got the roasted mushrooms too but those something to share with three or more people. We couldn't eat more than a couple of mushrooms before we were tired of them. Also the service was great too Max was our server and he was super attentive, knowledgeable about the menu and very efficient. We didn't have to wait long to get help. We were checked on pretty often without feeling rushed. read more
