This place has everything and a little something for everyone. Start by picking what kind of camper you would like to be! They've got large camp grounds for double size tents. They got cabins, mobile homes, Tipis and yes Stage Coaches all for rent. Once here you can go hiking or rent a horse and enjoy an hour long trail. Stay at the camp ground and take the kids for mini golf, or the playground. A small but efficient dog park is here. The GoKart Track is always a big hit with older kids. We missed the swimming pool where they have out door evening movies. At night time the sky is illuminated by the bright stars of Arizona. End the night with a cozy camp fire with s'mores. These camp grounds were nice and clean even the bathrooms and showers were all sanitary. The staff are courteous and knowledgeable with great nearby recommendations. We will be back for sure. This place is huge! Definitely a destination campground not just a pit stop. They have go carts and horseback riding ( for a cost). For free they had 2 playgrounds, an indoor swimming pool and a giant "blob" to jump on. My only complaint, and it's not specifically for this campground, but I hate when campgrounds pack people in. It just feels greedy. It would only have been better if we didn't have to sit right under our neighbors window. read more

I'd like to preface this review by saying that 1) this was my first time ever staying at a KOA and 2) we have a pop-up tent trailer that did not drown out all of the outside noises like hard-side trailers do. Our campsite ended up being as close to the interstate as anyone could be. Anyway... We were here 6/9-6/12/16 (three nights). The amenities at Circle Pines KOA are endless. There is even a store with food, ice cream, gifts, postcards, firewood, some last minute fixes for your RV or trailer, and more. The entire place - for the most part - was clean and well-maintained. I did not find the women's restrooms and showers to be particularly clean, though. Another thing I found to be of disappointment was the rocks for the surface of the main playground out front. They should also check the top of the slides and other equipment for some graffiti. My husband had a medical emergency and we had to have some items overnighted to us. The staff was more than understanding of this situation and took good care of our package. Bring your own grill for the fire pit if you'd like to use it. I didn't see a single grill on any of the pits. Of course, for a fee you can rent one from the store. If you don't mind being right next to your neighbor, well, you're going to be here. The WIFI... It never really worked for me so I just used my data. The indoor pool was a bit chilly. The sauna was barely warm. Other than that, I could just not get over the I-40 noise. It was constant. It rained really hard for a few hours on our second night there. Even the rain couldn't overpower the sounds of 18-wheelers and trains nearby. If you're in a pinch, then this place should be okay. Our site was $41.75 per night. I recommend reservations (deposit required) during the summer, but if it's a weekday there might be some sites available. Friday and Saturday are ridiculously busy (again, during the late spring/early summer). An employee told me that they had 90 arrivals on that Friday. It's not my style of "camping." All that said, this KOA has won some recent awards. It looked more promising than other nearby KOAs. But... There are other better REAL camping sites in the area on the way to the Grand Canyon. We will be back! Sites are a decent size. Able to pull through with 45ft 5th wheeler. Lots of trees, 2 large dog parks, Store and fast food restaurants (good choices!) homemade soup.. Indoor heated pool and jacuzzi. Off road right off the park. Lots to do! Polar Express did not disappoint! Lots of security, friendly staff! Wood can be delivered to your camp site! A very clean campsite with great restrooms and pools. Some of the showers were out of order, but there weren't that many guests on the night we stayed, so no problem. We are locals and had family visit so we decided to stay in town. We wanted to take my 4 year old and 18 month old somewhere to play and saw this Koa had a play ground. We drove over and parked in the lot, go into the front office (my 4 year old already saw the playground and was excited), and asked an old lady at the front if it were ok for us to play on the play ground. No one else was there so we thought asking was just polite , didn't think she'd say no. We even offered to pay. She turned us away, politely..we do understand liability, etc...I told my daughter it was a no and we'd find another thing to do and like kids do she starts to cry . We were ok but bummed, we can respect a polite no. But then, this old fart comes chasing us down as we are waking to our cars in the parking lot with a crying kid and asked (again) if we were staying with them. Again, we tell her no. And she says "then I'm going to have to ask you to leave " ...ummmm...yeah we were walking to our cars. Like, we had no intention of going to the play ground , still in the lot, 10 feet from our cars...what did she want us to do? Run to our car? We thought she was coming out to say "go for it ! Take that poor little girl to play on that empty playground " ...but no..she was a cranky bitter old fart who pretended to look in their storage room as we loaded our truck up to leave. We are good people, clean, decent, and had no intentions of not listening to her decision. As we walked we had been talking about coming back another time and renting a cabin but after she chased us down to tell us to leave as we were leaving , we will never come back and will tell others to stay away too. Our scout troop went here for our annual cold weather camp out. We had another site we'd used for years but they changed ownership. The staff was very concerned about us due to all the recent snow and talked us wisely out of shoveling out our tent campsite at night. We decided to come in the morning and had a blast. Bathrooms were great. Hand driers were very useful when one of our scouts lost a boot in the snow and needed to dry it out. Our scouts loved having an indoor pool to use to come out of the cold. Staff is super friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be looking at them for our cold weather camp out next year. read more

I've had my trailer for almost 4 years now and this was the first time I've stayed in a campground like this. I very much excited my expectations. When we checked in, the staff was very friendly. They had a young man escort us to our camp site. All the facilities were very clean, including the pool and jacuzzi. They have all kinds of stuff for the kids to do. My only complaint about the campground, (and it's not their fault) was the train off in the distance and the freeway noise. I put my earplugs in and slept like a baby. If you're looking for a centralized location for Sedona and The Grand Canyon, this is a great place to stay! read more

Perfect place to stay on a roadtrip. The showers were heavenly! Amazing water pressure and hot water, bathrooms incredibly clean. We had amazing weather. Place was probably only at 40% capacity when we were there. People were friendly. The little store has everything. Only bummer was kids aren't allowed in the hot tub and honestly, the pool and hot tub both looked like they could really use a good bleach scrub down, felt a little grimy, I'm also picky and grossed out easily, so some people might not be bothered by that. Everything, including the electrical plug worked at our site. There is a super "store" with a variety of items people like us might forget to bring. We came up the last weekend of September 2019 for 2 nights but left early. Although the location is nice and the sites are full hook-ups, we had also come for some of the amenities for the kids which are in their teens. Unfortunately, the go karts were closed, as well as the rock wall. When booked was told they would be open. What was left was the jumping pillow, jungle gym, and mini golf. It was very windy, so we were unable to have a campfire (which I understand as weather is not predictable). We may try this place again but maybe spring/summer. The sites are full hookup and slightly slanted so make sure you have blocks. WiFi is free if you need it and signal ok. It's also gravel sites under the pine trees which makes for a shaded site. During the night you do hear trains and some highway traffic, but we were still Able to sleep well. I'm disappointed with the "yes our amenities are open" bu they weren't so that's why the 3 star rating. We also left a day early and had to eat the cost. read more

A busy KOA! The spots are fairly close together and for the most part, level dirt, nestled in the pines. Overall, it is a pretty park...but it's hard to go wrong in the mountains near Grand Canyon. The WiFi and cable are mediocre at best. The gentleman who escorted us in was great...less then I can say for the check-in woman. Curt and punching numbers is the impression I got when checking in...the store was busy and perhaps additional cashiers would help but, moreover, dedicate someone for check-in too. I have stayed here multiple times and every time the staff is super friendly super helpful. This time had the chance to eat at the diner the hamburgers where giant tasty and fresh. The staff made them quick and perfect to our order. The frys are delicious. Cabin I stayed in was clean and cozy the night sky is amazing. Camp ground is quiet and campers are respectful. You have multiple ways to stay campers RVs tents Cabins(multiple choices in amenities) covered wagons and Tee Pees during the summer. So many things for the kids to do from bounce pad to go carts(seasonal). One of the best KOAs ever. read more

We are novices at RVing but we have stayed at cheaper and much nicer locations. Parking slot was ok but required a lot of levelling. The shower facilities and pool were a bit grubby. Great range of entertainment activities for young children but a bit dull for teens, and no real free space to throw a ball etc. The road and train noise is the biggest factor in a low score, combined with price. read more

On google this place has close to 5 stars, that is most likely due to Arizona locals and people that are not far from flagstaff that come here to "get away" and let their kids loose. This is more of an amusement park KOA than a down to earth rv community. They advertise go karts and so much more but none of it was open when we were there, they select random days to have the "fun stuff" open. The laundry room could use a deep cleaning. I'm not sure they have ever cleaned the washing machines, a rinse with some vinegar on a hot cycle would take the mildew stench away. We had no problem getting our site level but we noticed several other people that had issues with leveling and not being able to open their awnings/slide outs due to tress in the way. If you're a KOA rewards member that means nothing here, I asked to be close to the playground for our children and was met with the rudest customer service I've encountered on this trip so far. They do not have an ATM or offer cash back, so if you plan to use the laundry room make sure you have cash on hand. Be prepared for the mile long line at check in time, thankfully we were already checked in but they still made us wait in our vehicle just to get to our spot, they didn't care nor offer to usher us around the massive check in line. Once you check in and set up, they do not care about you. I would NOT recommend this place to friends and family and I will not be visiting this location again in the future. read more

Staff was nice, Great location if not for constant noise, Kind of expensive $85 a night for a 21 ft trailer, Lot's of road noise and train horns all night, Trains average every 15 mins. I booked three days and left after 2 day's, I did not ask for a refund just wanted to go where I could sleep. Open pit fires stunk up the air with plastic burning smell all night. They have a lot of big sites here and it's a very excellent place to bring your family. We really enjoy coming here and they offer a lot of amenities. During the COVID-19 the pool is open but limited to 30 minutes a person and a max of 10 people. The junkies are not open. The playground is open. Also the bucket chain for the kids is open. The go carts next-door and the rock climbing wall or not open during the pandemic. We highly recommend staying here the staff is always friendly and nice and the sides are always clean. read more

Lots of activities for kids (mostly on the weekends). Spaces are close together like most KOAs. People were helpful and friendly. Very busy. My biggest complaint was the dirty dog parks. It was great that there were three of them, but they were very dirty and full of weeds. I know that it is ultimately the responsibility of the pet owners to pick up after their own pets (which I did), but with as many employees has this campground has driving around in their little carts, someone should be assigned poop patrol. In fact, I bet if there was a pooper scooper and larger trash can available, and not just bags, dog owners would help with clean up. I know I would have. I'm willing to scoop other dogs' poop, but I won't pick it up with a bag. Sorry, the weeds are on you. read more

This KOA is amazing great staff Brice and Tiffany they treat you like family. Great service and Laundermat was amazing. Fun for kids too barrel train ride, bouncer, and movie Saturday night. They have go carts but they weren't running them. Great food at the little restaurant to. Would be 5 stars but our power would just go out even running the same things for hours on site 43 30 amp. Also close to highway and a train sounds off from a distance. We will definitely be back only will choose 50amp site. Oh also beautiful trails through the pine trees behind the campground. read more

We like this KOA and it's certainly convenient for a Grand Canyon trip. Four stars not five because they badly need more gravel. The site next to us was fine, but our site was a mud pit. They are open all year, so this is something that needs to be fixed. Otherwise, it's quiet with little road noise and sites are a good size. read more

An awesome place to visit. The staff will go above the call of duty to make your stay enjoyable. The go-cart rides and kiddy train rides are the icing on the cake here. They have an excellent indoor pool also. Next to the indoor pool are two hot tubs that needed some attention. The white foam had built up significantly and you could clearly see the dirt floating in the foam as if it hadn't been cleaned in a long while. I've been around hot tubs for years. Excessive white foam and black dirt in a hot tub means to much body sweat and dirt from other people. For the most part, a great place to visit. read more

This KOA is a dust bowl. Despite being in the trees, there is little shade. The WiFi is spotty, the cable TV is snowy and unwatchable. For $100/night, it is way too expensive. However, if you have children and want them to roam wild on their bikes unsupervised, this is the place for you. Plus the pool is packed with kids at all times and there are a lot of kids activities. So, maybe 5 stars if you have kids but not a nice RV spot for adults to visit the area. read more

I would like to complement the staff member named Lee!He is very courteous, kind, and went out of his way to help us when we had a need. This KOA is very lucky to have such a hard-working employee on their staff. Way to go Lee! We also upgraded to the deluxe patio with zero regrets. The patio furniture was clean and the deck chairs are very comfortable. The gas grill was clean and full of propane as well. This KOA was excellent. Our family stayed in a two bedroom camping cabin. We had a full schedule that didn't allow us to do everything the KOA offered, but my kiddos enjoyed the jumping pillow and playground. The cabin was cute and clean. The bathroom facilities were also clean. This isn't a complaint, but an observation for anyone like me who gets cold rather easily...the closest showers to our camping cabin were portable. While they were very clean, cold air was constantly blowing in. My shower of choice became the ones located at the pool. They offered much more warmth. Also, because I appreciate the minor details when I read reviews, know that the showers only stay in for about 30 seconds at a time. Plan on pushing the shower button a lot. We had dinner one night at the KOA grill. Decent food prepared by the nicest people. Also, the products available at the KOA shop are reasonably priced. read more

Will not return. Things started off badly when we checked in and found out we would not be in the campsites we reserved specifically to be close to other family members camping. I was on the phone making reservations for 45 minutes to find the perfect campsites for us. When we checked in we did it even get an apology that we would not be near our family. The campground offers lots of amenities for kids, but the employees were not competent enough to know how to operate them. Specifically the jumping pillow and even unlocking the bikes! BTW... the bikes are $5 to rent for 30 minutes which is ridiculous. So my 2 year old cried that he couldn't go on the bouncy. 2 employees told me that they did not know how to turn on the jumping pillow and that they couldn't find keys for the bikes. And... the campground is directly off of I-40. We heard highway traffic and the TRAIN all night. Not a very good weekend camping. read more

Planning our trip back at the end of 2020 and found this KOA in Williams. Located near the historic town and Route 66 and only an hour from the Grand Canyon and close to Sedona which were all our planned sites to visit. This campground is well maintained and has many Trailer/RV sites and has a great feel with all the mature pines. Clean showers and restrooms. My daughters enjoyed the indoor pool too. Would highly recommend for a stay in the area. read more

The BEST campground to stay at for the Grand Canyon. Actually, I don't think I've ever stayed in a better campground. We are 70 foot long with motor home & truck, this was an EASY park to get into! AMAZING for my two year old, huge jumping pillow (just go to front desk & ask them to blow it up)... Two different playgrounds for little & big kids. As well as barrel rides & go karts!! This was a campground you could just stay at & have a day of fun with your kid! The heated pool & hot tub was nice as well! This review specifically addresses tent & small cabin camping at this location. There were a lot of positive reviews of this place and I highly suspect now that these are folks that took their RV here. This really is an RV park, where they scattered in tent sites anywhere they couldn't fit an RV- places like behind the bathrooms, behind the propane tank, and behind the gocart track. Did I mention that right next to the gocart track there's also a major freeway- a very busy one? And just beyond that theres a major railroad track- also a very busy one with a crossing that requires the trains to honk 30+ times per night. The tent sites are awful. Don't stay here. Go camp at Manzanita or Mather or Dogtown Lake- basically anywhere would be a better place to pitch a tent. After getting no sleep the first night we went in and begged to pay to move to a site as far away from the train and freeway and gocart track as possible. We paid double ($100/night) for a one room cabin with electricity at the back of the place. It was better- somewhat quieter, and it actually backed up to pine trees. It only had a double bed, but it was better than tent camping on the train tracks. Some tips- when you book online they wont let you reserve a specific spot, so you'll probably get dumped on like we did. They told me that next time (HA!) we can call in advance and lock down the site over the phone. Do that. Also, when we went they wouldnt allow camp fires. Lame. However, you can rent a propane fire pit for $20/night. This way you can at least pretend and can roast marshmallows and such- it was better than nothing. The bathrooms here were relatively clean- but more often than not they had no toilet paper- this happened a lot and they'd go 24+ hrs without TP being refilled, so make sure you pack some. The pool was disgustingly mucky (and we frequent public pools, so its not that were snobby- it was nasty) when we went and the spa was blocked off with caution tape, so don't count on that. Basically everything except the playground and jump pillow costs extra so prepare to be nickeled and dimed for kids activities. All of the employees were relatively nice, so that was the one nice thing, but I doubt we'll be back. We much prefer the more low key Grand Canyon KOA nearby- its smaller with less frills, but clean and quieter. read more

This past weekend I stayed at the Circle Pines KOA with a large group of friends and family. First, let me say that the staff was really helpful when were were planning the trip a few months ago. They made sure that all of our tents and cabins were next to each other, even though we all paid separately and at different times. I normally stay at National Park / Forest campgrounds and hadn't stayed at a KOA in probably 30 years. So, my opinion may be a little different than others. But for what the KOA is, I thought it was a great facility. It's essentially a "camping resort", primarily for RVs. However, considering that, I thought the tent sites were very good. My only complaint being that there was some kind of buzzer at the restroom that kept going off during the night. LOL! But, I must admit the restrooms and showers were cleaner than what I generally encounter at National Forest / Park campgrounds, all the activities for kids were great (go karts, mini golf, playground, swimming pool, mini hay ride, etc) and the general store and restaurant were nice as well. Anytime we needed help with anything, the staff was there right away. The facility is near I-40 so, you could hear a little highway noise. But that didn't bother any of the 15 people in our group. Overall, I'd definitely stay at this KOA again in the future! read more

NOT CLEAN AND RUDE!!! In obvious violation of the state's COVID-19 requirements. Here are the details: The bathrooms had no soap, no toilet paper, trash was overflowing, hair and mud everywhere, and they were only cleaned ever other day. We know this because our site had a clear view of the bathrooms and we also heard the tent campers around us commenting on it. And by cleaned, they weren't sanitized, just trash taken out and counters wiped down with paper towels, smearing mud. Every site was booked solid, super packed, the kids blow up jumper was broken, and masks were not worn by employees. We stayed 4 long days, unfortunately. We love KOA as a whole and this is our first poor experience. They also allow smoking in the tent camping section and it affected the Boy Scouts and others who were allergic. To top it off, the manager called us after we left and chewed us out for asking if we would get a refund for leaving early. We didn't demand a refund, just politely asked and were fine without getting one. Just thought it was rude to call us afterwards and start yelling at us. read more

We stayed here on our cross country road trip. My only regret was that we didn't spend more than one day here. By far my FAVORITE KOA! So many things for my toddler to do and burn energy. Swimming pool was nice and clean. Restaurant had delicious food. Staff was SO polite, helpful, and sweet! My families best experience so far! Arrived midweek and not too bad. Friday hit, and holy crap, this place turned into an absolute zoo. We were first told when we arrived that campfires were allowed. Then on Friday we were informed that we could not have a campfire due to county fire restrictions. That's cool, I completely understand. But one hour later, two other sites had fires going which lasted all night and no one around to enforce it. The KOA manager tried to tell me she could lose her business license if she didn't enforce the fire rules, that's how important the fire restrictions were. Yea, ok........then enforce your own rules. Campers were cranking music, dogs barking all over the place, packed in like sardines and not anywhere near how the photos depict the sites to actually look like. We're taking this one off our list. We stayed here for 5 nights in a full hookup site for about $55 per night. The campground is all dirt/rock and most of the sites are not level. The sites are close together and the park is close to the highway. There were freight trains running all night about a mile away with frequent full horn blasts. The neighbors and their fire pit were very close to our bedroom slide which was very noisy. Don't expect to keep your shiny new rig looking clean here because there are clouds of dust and tree sap. On a positive note there are lots of activities for the kids. Not sure if we will return here. read more
