My trucks engine died on it's way to Circle Pines KOA in Williams AZ and required a new engine. The staff was helpful and bumped my month stay up twice, this helpful attitude ended when I called the third time and was told that even though I still wanted to stay there I would lose my thousand dollar deposit. Not my fault the truck died and because of the mangers refusal to talk with me, I will no longer use any KOA rv park and recommend to anyone that a thousand dollars is a lot of money to them, not to even bother staying with KOA. Not worth it!

One of our favorite spots! Nice large spots, quiet, wooded. The pool is indoor, they have a restaurant and very clean. Property is starting to get old but still very nice. I recommend it.

LOVE this particular KOA. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Great with kids!!! So many fun activities including hayrides, go Karts (family favorite) mini golf, bouncy blob, playground, bingo, crafts, on site restaurant and the store is fabulous! There's also a small store down by the go karts & a few arcade games, pool tables and claw machines. Definitely a great spot. Some of our family stayed in a glamping tent & it was super clean and fun for a young family. There's also teepees and covered wagons. The public restrooms and shower areas were exceptionally clean.

This is a great place to stay! The staff was great and the cabin was clean and very comfortable. I enjoyed my night there. Will stop again on my way back through.

All was great , lots of fun ! Until the Cafe served my children raw chicken nuggets . ( I didn't notice until my kids ate more than half ) We now end our trip with 2 sick children and a hospital visit for baby . When this was brought to cafes attention we were offered to replace meal with something else . No thanks

I have lost count as to how many times I have passed by this beautiful, well-maintained area without camping here, but this will no longer be the case. We stayed two nights here (June 7-8, 2016) and it wasn't enough during our weeklong trip. Dry camping only - tents, trailers, & RVs. No hook-ups. Just you, your posse, your home away from home. We found that the pull-through sites were not our style. The back-in sites were more level and seemed to have a better feel. If you end up with a pull-through site, though, you will still be a happy camper. It's mostly relatively quiet here. You can still kind of hear the I-40 and trains off in the distance. Otherwise, it's very peaceful. The campground hosts are really friendly and helpful. They sell firewood, ice cream, fishing bait and ice at their check-in area. PROS - vault toilets (but they actually smell nice & toilet paper is provided!) - paved roads & graveled sites - each site also has a fire ring with a grill & a picnic table - leashed pets are allowed - garbage AND recycle bins are nearby CONS - closed from October to April due to weather - no utilities or dump station (and please don't dump your grey water onto the ground!) - no running water except the potable water spigots (for drinking only... FYI... the lake is a water source for the City of Williams) TIPS - reserve your site online at recreation.gov - day use areas are by the lake - fishing is allowed - for license info. go to https://www.azgfd.com/ - daytime average temp. = 82°F & night time = 54°F. HOWEVER, these fluctuate. Be prepared. The pine trees smell amazing here. Or perhaps I had been inhaling the L.A. smog a bit too much - ha! The twinkling stars at night are a breath of fresh air too. The funny little Kaibab squirrels who to my surprise really didn't bother us... They are pretty flippin' smart. So fast. Too fast for cameras. Stay here at least one night if you get the chance! Unfortunately, we couldn't have a fire due to fire restrictions. However, we were able to bring our own gas-powered fire pit. I'm glad my husband checked the website a few days prior to our reservation, otherwise we wouldn't have known. It would be nice to get informed by email if you have a reservation about fire restrictions, because if we didn't bring our blackstone to make our food, I would have been very upset. Before arriving, I did some research on the black bear shack that our friends told us about, but sadly found out they are not at this campground anymore. The road coming in is extremely bumpy and rough. When leaving the campground, I recommend going left instead of right. Our cars needed a very good car wash after! The campground is very beautiful. This was our first time visiting a drive-through wildlife park, and we had an absolute blast. The process was easy--just drive in and enjoy the scenery while animals casually go about their day like they own the place (which, to be fair, they kind of do). We were able to see so many animals up close, including deer, elk, bison, bears, foxes, and more. Almost all of the animals were out and active, which made the experience even better. Seeing a massive bison just casually standing a few feet away from your car is both exciting and a great reminder that Mother Nature lifts weights. Our kids had an amazing time and couldn't stop talking about everything they saw. After finishing the drive-through portion, we explored the walk-through area and got to see even more animals. One of our favorite parts was the live animal show put on by the staff. They did a fantastic job, and it was so much fun watching the birds, along with a porcupine and a raccoon, come out and show off their talents. The entire park was clean, organized, family-friendly, and well worth the visit. If you're visiting the Williams area or heading to the Grand Canyon, Bearizona is absolutely worth adding to your itinerary. Highly recommended for families and animal lovers. Five stars!

I really like that the park has both a drive-through section and a walk-through section included with admission. The drive-through part is the highlight. You get to stay in your vehicle while driving through different animal areas, and seeing animals like bison, deer, burros, wolves, and bears up close is a great experience. The wolves and bears are especially impressive, and it is easy to see why they require windows to stay up in certain areas. Some of the animals come right up near the vehicle, which makes it feel very personal and exciting while still being safe. The walk-through area is also very well done. It gives you a chance to slow down, walk around, and see more animals up close. The exhibits are clean, the park is well kept, and the animals appear to be cared for. There are also nice areas to explore, a large gift shop, places to grab a snack or drink, and plenty to look at besides just the drive-through portion. This is a great place for families, kids, visitors, and even locals who want something fun to do near Williams or on the way to the Grand Canyon. Depending on the time of day and year, some animals may be more active than others, so it can be worth driving through more than once if time allows. Overall, Bearizona is a fun, unique, and memorable Arizona attraction. The combination of the drive-through wildlife experience and the walk-through zoo makes it well worth the visit. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Williams or the Grand Canyon area.

DO NOT STAY HERE -- Extremely Disappointing Experience…read more I would strongly encourage anyone considering staying at this location to think twice. Our experience was extremely frustrating from the moment we arrived. Only 40 minutes before our scheduled check-in, we received a message from the host stating that we were being moved from Caboose #1 to Caboose #2. We had booked Caboose #1 two weeks in advance, had our confirmation documents, and knew that the unit we reserved was available when we booked. When we arrived at the front office at the official 3 PM check-in time, we expected the situation to be handled professionally. Instead, the host was extremely unwilling to take responsibility and immediately blamed Airbnb for the "double booking." We explained that this was not an Airbnb issue -- we had reserved a specific caboose and were being informed last minute that it was no longer available. We requested a refund because we were not receiving the accommodation we paid for. The host repeatedly stated that she "didn't know how to do refunds" and acted as though getting approval from a manager was a major obstacle. She then told us she could refund us, but if we wanted to stay we would need to pay for another cabin. We explained that this was not acceptable -- the mistake was made on their end, and it was their responsibility to make it right. Instead of acknowledging the inconvenience, the host repeatedly told me I was being "rude" and that I needed to be kinder because she was "being honest" and "trying her best." Being told the truth 40 minutes before arrival does not make the situation acceptable. If we had been informed even a week earlier, we would have canceled and found another place to stay. She also claimed Caboose #1 and Caboose #2 were identical, which was simply not true. They have different scenery, different views, and the photos shown online clearly represented a different experience than what we received. After a lot of back and forth, she finally processed our refund and gave us a key to Caboose #2 for us to see if we still wanted to stay. Unfortunately, the condition of Caboose #2 confirmed our concerns: * The smell was awful * The AC did not cool the back of the caboose * The toilet barely flushed unless you held the handle down * The windows did not work * The patio was locked and unusable * The pool was closed We immediately returned the key and decided to stay elsewhere. Only then did the host finally apologize and offer for us to look at another "cozy cabin," which we declined. She then gave us a paper with a name and number and offered 50% off Caboose #1 "next time," but after this experience, we have no interest in returning. Overall, the biggest issue was not just the accommodation -- it was the complete lack of accountability, professionalism, and willingness to fix the situation. We felt dismissed, blamed, and treated as though we were the problem for expecting the reservation we paid for. We have also filed a report with Airbnb. Please reconsider staying here. A last-minute change, poor communication, and lack of customer service made this an extremely disappointing experience.

The campgrounds are clean. We rented a small rustic cabin both times. It was clean when we arrived and I love that it has a full size bed and bunk bed. They have a cute little dog park, pool/hot tub and playgrounds too. I think the only drawback is that it is right off the road so there is constant car sounds. The location was quiet, some of the staff were nice, and the showers were better than expected. Unfortunately, that was not enough to make up for the rest of the experience. The cabins were extremely hot, and the lack of air conditioning made it very uncomfortable. Fans helped a little, but not enough to make the stay relaxing. For the price, I expected the accommodations to be much more comfortable and better maintained. The campground itself also felt boring, especially for families with children. There was not much to do, the on-site store was overpriced, and some of the basic amenities were disappointing. The Wi-Fi was weak and unreliable, the sites felt too close together, and the nearby highway noise took away from the outdoor camping feel. Cleanliness and management also seemed to be an issue. Bathrooms and facilities should be checked and cleaned regularly, especially with the number of employees around. Instead, it felt like things were being overlooked. For a KOA, I expected better organization, better communication, and better attention to guests. The staff who were friendly deserve credit, but management needs serious improvement. At this price point, guests should not be uncomfortable, bored, dealing with poor maintenance, or feeling like basic issues are being ignored. Overall, there are a few good things here, but not enough for me to recommend it or want to stay again.
