Yuletide tree in its full glory
    Karin C.

Found this place by chance - wanted a tree at a decent price with the ability to have it delivered due to COVID19. Number one - they have an amazing selection and they are priced really well. Number two - delivery was not only super convenient (you can pick day and time), but also QUICK. The tree arrived, was beautiful, healthy, fresh and seriously perfectly shaped. A few days after, I received an email to ensure everything was as it should be. I highly recommend these guys, will be using them every year from here on out, and have told my family as well. Thank you, Willie D's

We had the most wonderful experience in the paint department on Friday evening…read more We have a large building in need of painting - trim and doors, with some stucco patching & painting thrown in. We had a paint chip from the stucco & wanted to get a sample mixed that we could test before committing to a gallon. Mac stepped in, said he could do it, & to swing back by in 10-15 minutes. We wandered the store, picking up other supplies for our project & then came back to make decisions about rollers. Mac came over & spent 10 minutes sharing his knowledge on paint viscosity, roller thicknesses, paint application & it was all done with kindness & making certain we understood. I call customer service like this the "Nordstrom" approach, where sharing thoughts can be done without arrogance or talking down to the customer. Mac was definitely going above & beyond with us BUT it's obvious that he treats all customers like that. Lowe's - you've got a great employee in the paint department. Thanks to Mac for your insight on our plight!!

I've had multiple bad experiences at this Lowe's, but an incident from about two weeks ago finally…read morepushed me to leave a review. A few months ago, there was an employee working self-checkout who seemed completely opposed to the concept of self-checkout. Instead of letting customers scan and pay for their own items, he insisted on doing it himself, argued with customers for no apparent reason, and turned what should have been a two-minute transaction into a frustrating ordeal. Then came the recent trip to the garden center. The only employee around was the cashier. We asked where the flower bulbs were, and her response was essentially, "I'm just a cashier, I don't know." Now, I don't expect every employee to know the exact location of every product in the store, but if you're working in the garden center, flower bulbs are about as basic as it gets. At the very least, I expected an attempt to help. Instead, we got a shrug. It somehow got worse at checkout. We asked whether some bulbs that had already started sprouting qualified for a discount. Rather than checking with a supervisor, calling someone from the department, or making any effort whatsoever to find an answer, she basically said she wanted no part of the conversation and left it at that. She then proceeded to miscount multiple items, turning a simple checkout into an unnecessarily long process. The best part came at the end, when she asked what flower bulbs even were and whether they're basically plants you buy instead of a full plant. After spending the entire interaction working in the garden center, it was honestly surreal. I shop at Lowe's often, which is why this is so disappointing. I don't expect employees to be walking encyclopedias, but I do expect basic competence, basic customer service, and at least a minimal effort to help customers. Unfortunately, those standards seem to be optional at this location.

He helped gather materials, stayed with my cart while I checked out, assisted with loading everything into my car, and was incredibly patient and kind throughout the entire process. What could have been a difficult trip with two small children became easy because of Levi's help. He was friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about making sure I was taken care of. Outstanding customer service and a great representative of Home Depot. Thank you, Levi!

Once upon a time, if you wanted to duplicate keys at Home Depot, you had to ask a store associate…read moreto make them for you. Later, self-service kiosks were introduced, allowing you to have a machine create a key without an employee's help. In either case, you would pay for your purchase with the cashier. If the replicated key didn't work, you'd sort it out at the store's customer service desk. Today I learned that making a key at the self-service kiosk now isn't counted as a Home Depot sale. You have to pay for the service via the machine before the keys are made. And if they don't work, you'll need to resolve the issue by calling the 800 number posted on the machine. You can still have a store employee manually make a copy of your key, and it will count as a store purchase. This report doesn't pertain just to this specific Home Depot store, as I'm confident this new business arrangement applies to all Home Depot locations with this self-service machine.
