Attempted to eat here and was told by the grouchy guy I can't serve all of you. Brought a group of students in for lunch at about 12:30. He said he did not have enough food for all 16 of us. 2/3 of the group left leaving 5 people 2 of which already ordered. The man then proceeded to say he could not take the other three young ladies orders. They asked for a side of fries and he told them to leave. Burgers were pretty small for $16. Thought we would try this hole in the wall on our way through town but I guess we will just leave the hole in the wall empty next time we pass through. read more

When we ordered I thought the prices were high for breakfast tacos, but once they came out you definitely get your moneys worth! We couldn't even see our tortilla. My only "complaint" for lack of better word, is that I didn't like any of the salsa. But they do other three different kids plus a Louisiana hot sauce on the tables. Overall a good find. read more

Don't let the storefront location trick you; these are the BEST BREAKFAST TACOS IN TEXAS! I eat tacos for breaky about 3 days a week. Have done so for years. But these are the best! The tacos come in a variety of favorites; I chose the egg/bacon/potato & cheese. The filling was so mounded up, it looked like a loaded tostado! I had to eat most of the fillings w a fork, so I could pick it up! The other tacos setved to our group were the same!! Kudos to Willie!!! Plenty of parking out front. Extra friendly (older) staff. I don't even know where to start. Service was terrible!!! Willie himself assuming this is him was VERY RUDE. Basically telling us " party of 8" by the way , that all he had was burgers and told us to hurry and order. Felt very rushed and we couldn't even get separate tickets. Burger was okay not much to brag about. Meat was very thin and not flavorful at all. We only stayed to eat because we just came from camping and was hungry . We wanted to relax with our family and have a good meal. That didn't happen at all. We only stopped because of Yelp. NEVER again will we ever stop there again to eat. Excellent choice to stop & eat lunch. We had the Willie's Burger, Jalapeño burger, and regular burgers plus onion rings & fries. Everything was the best. I personally had the jalapeño burger which was delicious. Lots of jalapeño's. The onion rings & fries were crisp and flavorful. Definitely would like to stop here whenever passing by again. Also the owner Willie himself took our order and sat down to talk to us! How many times do you get to say that the owner is physically invested in their business??? Loved the personal aspect of it! Popped in for lunch today. Tried the Monday Special. Chopped bbq beef sandwich with fries. They were unfortunately out of the sliced brisket. Overall it had good flavor. Needed perhaps a bit more spice and to smoke the meet a little longer. Not quite enough smoke flavor. But still a good sandwich . Coworker had the brisket taco. Looked amazing. I like supporting local business, but not this one anymore. More than $12 for a single burger and raw fries. No drink, because no ice (even though you can see an ice freezer outside the door at the gas station they share a lot with). As if it should come up when I'm ordering lunch (it shouldn't), don't let the man taking your order know your political thoughts. He'll assume what yours are and call you names. As he was talking to me about how covid swept through there like a wildfire, I watched food being prepared by bare hands that were just in the register. So, if you like your food being prepared in an unhealthy fashion after you've paid waaay too much for it, and like being called names on a (wrong) assumption about how you vote, enjoy! I have only ordered one dish here. Their suicide breakfast taco. Never to go, only ordered for eating there. AWESOME. Hands down the best breakfast taco I've found in the Austin area. I don't know what he does when you order to go but when it's served there, it's ginormous! I have trouble finishing it (and I can eat a lot of food). It has pretty much anything you want in a breakfast taco (eggs, potato, bacon, sausage and I don't remember what else). He makes the sauces in house. Love his habanero sauce.
