French Toast Eggs and Bacon
John W.

Wow what great tasting and beautiful presentation of my breakfast this morning. Just a simple French Toast breakfast with perfectly as ordered eggs and bacon. On top of that the price was right

Fajitas for "two"

The quality, portion size, and price was outrageous. Ordered the fajitas for two and it had a portion the size of a child's meal. The refried beans were cold and not seasoned, the guacamole was brown and had no flavor, and the queso was watery.

Pastor Tacos with house made salsas

I highly recommend this restaurant The food and service quality was truly exceptional, I can't wait to come back. The Pastor Tacos was particularly my favorite, great salsa Verde, and spicy red salsa that added to the amazing flavor of the tacos. Tony, the new owner, paid a visit to my table to ensure all was up to standard. The restaurant, bathroom, and kitchen were super CLEAN! Although I do not drink alcohol the bar customers seemed to enjoy their margaritas and beer. I highly recommend this gem. 2 minutes off of HWY 620 down Hudson Ben Road.

Combo plate

An upgrade from "The bell"... slightly. Gourmet...definitely not. I order the combo plate and left half the food on the plate. The rice was by far the worst Spanish rice I've ever had. It had a slight bit of yellow color, which should have been indicative that it wasn't going to be flavorful. But nothing could prepare me for what I put in my mouth. Not tasty! And it had peas in it. Where they do that at?! My quesadilla was solid cheese. The flauta was hard as rock but tasty. The taco, beans, and the tostada carried the whole plate. My cousin liked her steak street tacos. The staff was nice. Seemed like the neighborhood watering hole and everyone was happy, besides me. So for that they receive 3 stars.

Great food and service. The owner, Tony stopped and visited to make sure our food and service were amazing! Among his 20+ years of working in and operating very successful restaurants he has brought with him genuine San Antonio's "puffy tacos" just like I enjoyed growing up in SA. Very casual and comfortable environment with excellent food and drinks! If you live in the Lakeway or surrounding area, stop in and check out your new favorite Mexican restaurant.

Queso was solid - liked the jalapeños

Took me a year to get over here to try this place out but it won't take me that long to come back! Amazing queso-birria tacos, great drinks, nice neighborhood vibe, and friendly service. This is in the spot that Don Mario's started years ago, and reminds me of what I used to love about that place - family run and food served with a lot of heart. Highly recommended.

Dragon Mojito
Courtney K.

Happy to have stumbled upon this place. The dragon mojito and street tacos did not disappoint! My only complaint was the service. We sat at the bar and were the only ones in the restaurant. The server was not attentive, and we had to flag her down when our drinks were empty and then again to order food.

My first time ever trying Michelin star tacos!…read more Suedero tacos and they were amazing! Juicy, tender, and with a squeeze of lime and salsa (red plus green) it was perfect! Like your girl can eat tacos but I had never been one to be like let's go get some cause I am craving them. But man cuantos tacos can definitely get me saying I want and crave them! I thought prices were pretty fair at 2.75 a piece. After much researchon what to eat in Austin this is one of the spots that I saved as a bookmark. While I was in Austin, a foodie friend on Instagram shared with me her list of recommendations since she just moved to Austin not too long ago. I knew that Ihad to stop by Cuantos Tacos, I mean how often do you see a Michelin BibGourmand taco truck. We came here for dinner but it was cold, sprinkling, anddark out. Tables they had were wet from the sprinkle.  My family only triedthe suadero taco ($2.75 per taco) but OMG it was the best thing we ate duringour trip in Austin. It was super memorable, the meat was soft and the salsaadded the perfect kick to it. It's been a month, my husband and I are still daydreamingabout these tacos.  Tacos are madepretty fast, we had to order tacos 3x since they were so good, we kept wantingmore. Wait time was super reasonable. Staff are nice and if I lived closer Ican see myself coming here every taco Tuesday! This definitely is a must go tospot if you like tacos.   Tips: *Small parking lot *Outdoor seating only *Credit card accepted *Porta Potty in theback (night time it is pretty dark and hard to see) *They cater. *You can also orderonline for pick up. Tips: Credit card and cash accepted. Outdoor seating option only. Restroom is port a potties. Located in an area with other food trucks.

These tacos are really tasty and even better the salsa was amazing…read more One could easily get one of each taco to try them all because they are pretty small. Making them costra style to add cheese for 50c is a nice touch too. The picnic seating kinda leaves a lot to be desired, my table was very broken. Staff is friendly and helpful in the truck!

Tucked away in a building across from Popeye's, this charming little restaurant doesn't have a wide…read morevariety to choose from--but what they offer is pretty special and definitely worth a visit. I ordered 2 steak tacos and horchata, both very delicious. The horchata is milky and sweet but not crazy sweet, and topped off with cinnamon. The steak tacos came out pretty hot, fresh from the grill. I got them on corn tortillas and I'm glad I did: idk if they make them in house but somebody in some house is making these because they definitely aren't store bought, and if they are I want to know where! I tried the orange habanero and creamy serrano salsas. The habanero was spicy off the bat, while the serrano had more of a lingering burn. Both paired well with the steak. They have a little bar, too, though I did not imbibe this time. Seems like they have a decent selection of agave spirits, and even Campari behind the bar (iykyk). Give them a shot, and thank the ladies in the kitchen.

I personally don't eat breakfast tacos usually, but the breakfast tacos here are delicious. Out on…read morea whim, happen to drive by and saw this place. Decided to come in and the cashier greeted us and was really nice and patient because of questions with the menu. The Taco Bueno is what I had ordered and requested no potato. Sat down and after a few seconds, chips & salsa was delivered. Then after a few minutes, the food came. Quick service for sure and the food, AMAZING. Anyone reading this, try this place out and if u like it, come back! Cuz we are for sure =D
