i just moved here a few months ago and have been here twice now and both times I've had Alyson as my server. She has been one of the best servers I've ever had- on top of that- the food is so good and Ihave a lot of allergies so she's always managed to get my allergies right and she's always talking to me and making sure I'm having a good meal and she also gives me recommendations of what to do around town since I'm new here and it's always been such a good vibe every time I come everybody is so nice to me and the counter staff is great and are always so funny. Love Willie's Icehouse! We've eaten at Willie's multiple times and had pick up orders without complaint. I suggest going for happy hour- they have good appetizer and margarita deals! Margaritas are delicious! Portions for everything we have ordered have been larger than we expected and been a good price. Came in wanting to try something new and oh boy did I love this place! The food was amazing! But to be fair I was pretty hungover so all that fried food hit the spot. Then to top it all off our server Liv did an amazing job! Our drinks were NEVER empty and our food came out pipping hot and oh so delicious! The only thing I can complain about is knowing that Liv will no longer be working there for much longer but I guess I'll just have to follow her to her new location. Tipping review! Help me understand your process. I had to stand in line and order my food and make my own drink, Then carry my drink to my table. We are then greeted by a waiter. We never asked for a refill or anything from the server. For our party was $80. Then I'm presented a receipt with tipping options of 18% 20% and 22%. For something we all did the work for my lowest option to tip was $14.00. The sever literally did nothing for us. What gives I'm I a jerk if I don't leave anything. We've hit the jackpot with this place. I've tried chicken fried steak, cheeseburger, patty melt, mash potatoes, sweet potato fries, MUSHROOMS!, street corn. Their burgers are delicious. This is a new location and they already have great food and service. Here are the reasons why I did not give it a five rating. 1. The only problem I have with the food is the bacon burger needs very crisp bacon. Otherwise when you bite it the whole strip pulls out of the sandwich. 2. Parking. The parking is a serious problem here. The restaurant still had empty seats yet when we left there were five cars battling for our parking spot. Don't know why they would think this is ok. read more

Interesting spot to check out! They have an interesting ordering/ seating model. I think it's a little inefficient and confusing at first but maybe it would be better once you're used to it. Servers were nice, but there were so many that kept stopping by that sometimes it was overwhelming and we ended up with 7 packs of silverware for 4 of us. The food was really yummy though and the restaurant is clean, has a fun theme, and is playing good music. I definitely recommend stopping by to check it out. read more

So here's the deal. When you walk in, you order at the counter then go find a table. While at the table a server came to refill our drinks and what not. Our food was good. I got the Tender Bites and there was a lot in the order! The line to order was pretty long, but it gave us a lot of time to look over the menu. I am definitely returning to try out more things from the menu. read more

I've eaten here several times. I've not done a review because I was waiting for the WOW moment. I've not had it. Here's the facts: Food is good. It's not, WOW. It's bland! Drink options are good. It's a good vibe to hang out at the bar and eat and drink with a friend or spouse. I don't like the booths as they're uncomfortable. The place is usually filthy. The tables are sticky every time I go. It's just awkward! Some of these restaurants have outdoor dining and the tables won't have any umbrellas or shade cloth and in Texas that's just too hot. So many little things that management could take into consideration and make better. read more

We ate dinner at the new Willie's in Kyle. I had a cheeseburger and so did my GF. My daughter had a baked potato with grilled chicken on top. I would have to say that I could have saved myself some money by going to Dan's in Buda. The burger I was served came on a cold bun. I had the fries with it and they were just okay. My GF had the onion rings and she wasn't a fan either. My daughter said her baked potato was just okay. I spent $50 plus tip for a meal that really wasn't worth $50. Lesson learned. read more

5 stars all the way. I always get that fried chicken club sandwich they use some kind of pimento n roasted pepper spread in there it's top 3 chicken sandwiches I've ever had. Tots are ok but the fries here are way better very good. The fried mushrooms here are top 3 I've ever had I order them every time now. Place is very clean, not sure if that's cuz it's new but I hope they keep it that way. Best part though is the staff are high on life or something cuz the servers I've had are extraordinary friendly n cheery and energetic, couple times I've sat at the bar n the bartenders are nice and attentive. I like to complain, especially on yelp, but I have zero complaints about this place they really do a great job and great value as well. read more

Never heard anything back on our previous visit. Stopped last night to see if they at least addressed our concerns. They fixed it all. Service by Emma was quick & she was always checking on her tables. A lovely lady, Mary, said manager on her tag, was walking around checking on tables and talking to the customers. Our appetizers of fried jalapeños and fried mushrooms were so delicious, fresh and very hot. They no longer had the old burnt grease taste. The burger patty was very hot & cheeseburger was delicious. The crawfish were served very hot, steaming as you pulled open the bad they are served in. They were very big, corn & potatoes very hot. The swirl margaritas were great! read more

Yuk. Got the 1 lbs snow crab legs, traditional. Way too spicy. Asked them to redo it. They took it to the back and rinsed it off. How did I know? The potato I bit into with the spice was returned to me. When the manager came and asked if it was better I explained that although it wasn't as spicy, there is still too much spice on the shells. She tried to say it's due to the spices in the boiling water. Yeah, except for the potato... it wasn't redone as she stated. They just rinsed it off. Which could have been okay except the potatoes and corn were still saturated with spice. The patty melt wasn't much better. Bread was greasy and soggy, fries came out tepid.
