It remained parked most of the day and only drove 27 miles total. We returned it promptly in the morning. The attendant was busy and just told us to park. Normal car rental return. Two weeks after, we get a letter in the mail with a charge for damage totally $374. The photos supplied are in a whole different lot (not even on site where I dropped the vehicle off), not timestamped, dated, not clear nor do not highlight where the damage is. The odometer reading in their proof is 20miles more than what was documented at drop off. I've asked multiple times for clear, timestamped/dates photos yet they refuse. I've seen a few reviews with similar feedback and nationally - a quick google search shows this is not something new... Class action lawsuits - False Damage Claims: Customers report receiving surprise bills for hundreds or thousands of dollars for scratches or dents they did not cause during the rental period. My recommendation is rent elsewhere and stay away from Budget. My hope is by posting this, it'll save you time dealing with this shady location/company.

The second time, I was dealing with an issue involving my travel agent and rental reservation, and once again, she went out of her way to help me get everything sorted out. Both times, she was nothing but smiles, positivity, and genuinely great customer service. The next thing I know, I pick up a passenger at the airport and the car won't move, I was in panic mode, called in and was told that since I went over the allowed $25 max charging amount that the vehicle is disabled until I make a payment. This happened another 4 times. Every time you call, you get the voicemail telling you they don't take calls, you must send them a text. They have a 3rd party company ZEVO who handles part of the rental process and they handle part so if you call about something with the remote or the payment you have to talk to one and if. it they text you and tell you that they don't handle that part of it and you need to contact the rental company directly or vice versa and you can never get anyone on the line and you're texting all day trying to get something resolved. It's an absolute joke. Then the front truck kept popping up while driving and I'd have to stop and close it or sometimes it would happen while parked and the car won't move until you close it. They would not offer me any sort of discount or credit at all , and basically told me to go fly a kite. STAY AWAY FROM HART AND FROM ANYTHING THAT SAYS ZEVO. YOULL THANK ME LATER!
