I really like this restaurant. While I was out running errands I was thinking of something I could take home to have for dinner later on. So I went here and I wanted nachos but I didn't want my nachos to be soggy. So they put all of the cold ingredients in one bowl for me (lettuce and tomato). Then they put the queso I ordered in a bowl by itself along with my meat, guacamole, sour cream, and shredded cheese all in different bowls. I really appreciated that. I will give the quality and flavor of the food five stars. The only complaint I had about this visit was even though my food was packaged up and ready to go instead of ringing me up they made the persons food right behind me as I waited to be checked out. So I'm standing there waiting to pay and they're making somebody else's food and mine is just sitting there. I really didn't care for that. It pains me to write this review but the masses must alerted. WILLY'S HAS ROACHESSSSS! I went in today around 8pm geared up for nachos. The lady in front of me pointed out to the worker that there was a bug on the wall. We all looked over and the baby roach was climbing up the wall. OMG OMG. The baby roach was rock climbing in Willy's. The employee looked and did nothing. The lady said "yall probably won't pass inspection". Then the worker continued preparing food with the roach rock climbing up the wall. I left without placing an order and will never return. I'm so disappointed in this location. Wow... what a horrible food experience at this location! I ordered a taco salad and their lettuce is kept underwater in a container on the food line... like it's COMPLETELY SUBMERGED IN WATER! Why? Half of it was already brown? When they grabbed the lettuce DRIPPING WITH WATER to put it as the base of my salad on the crunchy taco shell, I stopped them as I ordered a taco salad and not a taco soup... this truly was disappointing and I should have walked out. If chipotle served taco bell crunchy tacos you'd still have a better meal than you could get at this place. I rarely rate on service but these folks were pretty nice...FYI, just like at chipotle, they assume you've been there before and already know what you want, but they're happy to answer questions about the food choices and options so that earned an extra star here...otherwise, the one star rating is just for the lousy tacos. My foodie friend was with me there and ordered a burrito (which was colossal) but nowhere near as good as chipotle, according to him who gets burritos there at least once or twice a week. Update. The owner, Bruce, contacted me after my prior review. He was aware of the issues I raised and was working to address them. He provided me a free meal and the (new) manager was very friendly and was working to improve the store. I'm going to give them another chance. My friend is a Willy's fanatic and this is her preferred location so I opted to stop by here rather than my usual Briarcliff and Lavista locations. When I dug into my chips, they were room temperature and hard/stale seeming which is disappointing because I've had good Willy's chips before, and these were not them. However, my burrito was superb (I always go for the half adobe chicken, half sinola chicken)! Moes and Chipotle are wonderful alternatives for when I'm away, but when I'm in Atlanta, I always choose Willy's. read more

Just had the Baja burrito for lunch via Door Dash. The meal was in a aluminum tray with plastic lid in a plastic bag. I'm not sure that was the best packaging for delivery because by the time I got it the tray was crushing in and the lid had popped off so it was leaking into the bag. I was able to salvage it but it's an important part of the rating for me. I would have gone another star because the meal itself was great. There were no utensils or napkins with the order. I only meant to eat half but it's all gone now. I had the chicken. Everything was fresh and delicious I ordered the cookie too and it was amazing but way too small for a buck read more

I had the Baja Chicken burrito. It comes with rice and black or pinto beans. The burrito it smothered in their ranchero sauce and cheese sauce. A scoop of sour cream and guacamole on top of the handful of romaine lettuce. I asked for it "all the way" and this was the result. The adobe chicken was very flavorful. The rice was seriously lacking in flavor though. It had a slight reddish-ish color, but really tasted like plain rice. The pinto beans were not great, but OK. In a burrito they would be fine but as a side dish, they were rather plain. Overall if you are looking for a cheap burrito that will fill you up, this will do the job. However, I hate to say it because I'm not a huge fan of them, but for a burrito, Chipotle is much better. I'd put this place parallel to Moe's Southwest Grill if you are familiar, but Moe's salsa is better. read more

I will never support this location again. I placed an online order of two chicken quesadillas and get home to discover it was pork. I called to let them know my order was wrong that we ordered chicken quesadillas but we received pork quesadillas. The girl on the phone told me there was nothing she could do that it's chicken and i told her it was not chicken it is clearly pork. I asked to speak to the manager she slammed the phone down and then came back to say "she's busy". I told her i was coming back to get what i ordered and paid for. Once i got there they looked at the quesadillas i received and tried to argue with me that it was chicken not pork but it was clearly pork. There was a man that grabbed our quesadillas and brought them to Clara speaking in Spanish about if they should make us quesadillas then proceeded to call me names in Spanish. Little did they know i know Spanish so i knew exactly what they said. They almost were not going to even make us new CHICKEN quesadillas. They ended up making the correct order but made me wait 20+ minutes for it after they served the huge line that was not there when i first walked in. Corporate needs to fire Carla and the other girl that was working the night of July 2, 2021. They have zero since of customer service. Never would i want an employee that speaks in Spanish calling my customers names. The man she was speaking too did not say anything bad but Carla is a terrible, miserable human being. Blame them I do not live on this side of town and I only visited because I had to wait for AAA to service me for a flat tire. I rarely eat out nowadays because of the pandemic, and I applaud the staff for wearing masks and coming in... It's a busy area with FOUR plazas and I chose to eat here over the rest...mainly because they were the closest. Made a total of 3 visits for the following: restroom, food, and beverage. I ordered a nearly $10 burrito on the 2nd and bought a nearly $3 20oz bottled Coke on the 3rd. Beverage was overpriced! Burrito was filling despite how the staff made me NOT feel welcomed. I was watched and stared at each time I came in until I was ordering. Maybe you need security? I originally wanted to get a to-go menu and pee but they're behind the times with just a Wall Menu. I might've been able to enjoy my burrito (spicy chicken, beans rice, pico, cilantro, onion, shredded cheddar and guac) if they treated me like a customer! I've been to many restaurants where "select" get greets / goodbyes, and it happened here and left a terrible impression on me. This is sad and hurtful; I really wanted to like this place, but it looks like I'll only be coming to this plaza for FedEx Kinkos only. The employee gave me a difficult time ordering my food. Had a comment about everything I wanted on my nachos and the chips were very salty. I asked him politely if I can get my chips and cheese on the side. He told me I can't get it in a bowl that everything has to come in separate white containers instead of putting it in a bowl. I didn't want to go home with 10 different containers just to reassemble my nachos. Usually if you want shredded cheese and queso on your nachos it's $1 extra but they charged me the price of a medium queso. Even the queso was orange instead of white. This Willy's is located in North Decatur Center at the corner of N Decatur Rd. and Clairmont Rd. North Decatur Center is a busy strip mall with several small businesses including a FedEx Office store. During peak times, parking here can get tight. Like Chipotle and Moe's, Willy's serves San Francisco Mission-style burritos. The burritos are large and stuffed with a variety of ingredients including rice and beans. Also like Chipotle, Willy's uses fresh ingredients -- meats are marinated and vegetables are chopped in-house. Unlike Chipotle, I'm not sure if Willy's uses naturally-raised meats. Burritos cost about $7-8 each are are filling and satisfying. My favorite burrito is the cilantro-garlic steak burrito which comes with sirloin steak that has been marinated in a cilantro-garlic sauce. It's a combination of two terrific flavors. I have my burritos wrapped in flour tortillas (wheat also available) and stuffed with everything: rice, black beans (pinto also available), pico de gallo, shredded cheese, and guacamole. Guac is an extra dollar, but worth it. In my experience, the guac consistently tastes fresh. I also like to ask for extra chopped jalapeno and cilantro. Other meat options include adobe chicken (adobe sauce made from ancho/poblano chilis and chipotle peppers), Sinaloa chicken (made from orange juice and roasted garlic), and chipotle pork. Burrito bowls are available for the health/carb-conscious. You can get tacos with the exact same meat options. They run about $6-7 for two. The quesadillas aren't bad. They come in two different sizes. For a meal, go with the grande (about $7-8). The quesadillas are made with whole wheat tortillas and ooze with savory, melted jack cheese. I like the steak on my quesadillas too, but the Sinaloa chicken (only other quesadilla I've tried so far) is OK too. Things I like about Willy's over the other guys are the free chips and salsa bar. The chips are hot, fresh, and oily. The salsa bar has four different kinds of salsa: chipotle salsa, tomatillo sauce (bright green sauce, great for steak), habanero salsa (spicy, but not as spicy as it sounds), and chili d'arbol (a little spicy and aromatic). Try them all and find the one you like best. Service is fine. Overall, this Willy's is A-OK. read more

I've been going so long I can remember when a steak burrito set me back $5.26 with tax. Now it's a bit more but the quality and taste are still the same. I despise cilantro but love the cilantro-steak, go figure. I always get it. Tasty. I don't use the salsas but they get high marks from my Willy's dining partner. Chips are crispy and salty. Staff smile a lot. It says a lot when there's a steady stream of customers at off-peak times, and other eateries in the same shopping center come and go. It was not AWESOME, but I really like the ability to customize my burrito with many different additions at no additional charge. We got the Adobe Chicken Burrito. I added jalapeno, cheese, cilantro, and also took a trip to their salsa bar to take home some extra salsa. The quality of the meat and ingredients was good. What we did not like was how they folded the burrito. All of the rice was on one side, the beans were in the middle, and the meat was on the end...instead of a little of each in every bite. If they could fold it the other way, it would taste much better and yield more satisfaction from customers, I'm sure. read more

"NACHO REVIEW* So, I have been looking far and wide for good nachos. I also do not want to pay $15 for nachos. I have come to the conclusion that Willy's makes the BEST nachos in Atlanta. The serving size is massive and big enough for 2 people. So here are my perfect nachos: Nacho chips rice black and pinto beans cheese tomatoes onion cilantro black olives fresh jalapenos guacamole They first heat up the chips, rice, beans, and cheese under the broiler until nice and melty. Then they add your toppings and put everything in a foil lined box. The salsa bar offers 3 types: tomatillo, smoking habernero, and something else. Then they have their own sauce which is yummy. This location has covered seating which is nice and ample seating inside. They sell KoP for dessert, but no one has room for that. The menu is easy to read and understand with 2 types of chicken, pork, beef, tofu. The toppings are all fresh and great. Almost all of the staff is awesome. I say almost because this is the downfall. The girl behind the register was in some type of funk last night. She was not providing receipts. When the guest in front of me asks for his, which he deserves to do, she huffed and puffed and then try to unwrinkle a receipt and gave it to him. It was not his. She then grunted. When it was my turn to pay, she asked what I ordered and I said "just nachos". Right before she slid my card through, she added on another meal. I caught it and said "Umm..Why did you charge me double when I confirmed with you that I only ordered nachos?" Luckily, the Manager was near by to credit me back for the extra order, but they need to keep an eye on that girl. That was the only downside. read more

I've never really understood the appeal of Willy's. Some of my friends swear by it, boasting about the great flavor, fresh veggies, etc, but, I dunno, maybe my taste buds are shot because the flavor just doesn't burst out at me, or maybe they're going for the subtle flavor? With that mindset going in, I decided to try the Sinaloa tofu burrito bowl. I don't eat tofu often, but they didn't do a bad job with it, and, would you look at that, there was a little flavor in there! The bowl could be had for right at 6 bucks or so but their grilled peppers and onions blend is an extra dollar, although chips are free, although the dipping sauces are fairly tame. I do like the vibe of this location, especially in the evening, in the quasi-outdoor eating area, but during lunch, this whol shared lot, which is packed with multiple stores, can run out of parking spaces. read more
