I'm glad I gave this spot a chance finally. The food was really good. I tried their new Willy Philly which was exceptional and the fact that you can add your own ingredients makes it so much better. The only thing I can't understand is why all of these Mexican places are making the watery queso and not the thick queso they used to make. This place has seriously the BEST Tex/Mex in the Atlanta! Forget about Moe's or Chipotle and come here - long time customer here and rarely disappointed. Tonight was a bit different - food was still top notch! But the staff needs better training on basic health standards. I watched as both the lady and the guy making the food would mistakenly put the wrong ingredient on something and then pull it off and throw it BACK in the bin! Food that fell off whatever they were preparing got thrown back in the bin to be served to someone else. Even saw them rake ingredients from the counter back into the bin to be served to the next customer. The guy took a tortilla and put cheese on it for a quesadilla and when the customer changed his mind, the guy shook the cheese off back into the bin and then put the tortilla back in with the new tortilla shells - again to be served to someone else! Anything that falls off or is a wrong ingredient needs to be thrown on the floor and cleaned later. Then we got to our table and they came over and told us they gave us the wrong order, gave us a bag with our order in it and then took the wrong food back behind the counter and served it to the proper customer. No, no, and NO! If it comes to a customer's table, it's off limits to be served to someone else - it needs to be thrown in the trash! This is basic health code stuff and shouldn't be happening! I decided to try this location after having Willy's catered to my old job a few years back and remembering how good it was. Stopped by after class on a Monday around 3 pm. No one in line and only a few people eating inside, not busy at all. I got the bowl option with Adobe chicken, rice, beans, cheese, lettuce, pico, black olives, cilantro, & sour cream. The bowl didn't look like a good portion size at first but it was a lot more food than what it looks like! Everything was fresh and tasty, definitely stepped up from moes and chipotle. Price was around $8 I think it was worth the price. The interior is clean and modern with plenty of seating. Parking lot has plenty of open parking spaces. read more

In the Burrito bowl hierarchy, Willy's always was pretty low on my list. So much so that the last time I visited a Willy's was about 10 years ago! So when this new Willy's location popped up, I thought i'd give them another shot. I ordered myself their Adobo chicken bowl ($6.95) and added several of their toppings that ranged from corn salsa, to red sliced pepper, to pico to guac (only topping that is NOT free), All burritos or bowls get free chips, though I got very few. Seems like Moe's gives a lot more. A salsa bar sits next to the drink station and has four types of dips at any one time, ranging from mild to mouth watering hot. Their flavors were still exactly the same. Willy's has a more watered down flavor/taste to me, and it seemed as if everything needed a little salt to it which I decided to not add. The chicken was tender, not chewy and was cooked well, but flavors just weren't there for me. Located in the new restaurant strip off of duluth highway, next door to the likes of Burger Fi or Jason's Deli, parking is very much a premium here for lunch, and you may have to hunt to find a spot. Exiting out onto Duluth highway can be tough depending on where traffic is, because this area is typically congested. End of the day, if you love Willy's flavors and haven't been in a while, you're in luck with this location. If you're like me, and aren't really a fan of those flavors, you're ALSO in luck, because there's literally a Moe's next door, and a Chipotle across the street to cover your burrito fix if Willy's cant. I just received the WORST customer service from the manager on duty at your location on Duluth Highway in Lawrenceville GA!! I frequent this location & have NEVER had the displeasure to run across this incredibly rude woman in my life. The young man who took my & my mothers order was attempting to complete my moms nachos when she literally swatted him away. She never asked if our order was for here or to go. Then proceeded to plop sour cream & gucamole on my moms nachos BEFORE putting them in the oven!!! When she put them in the oven the sour cream and guacamole BOTH got stuck on the top of the oven. This woman then proceeds to wipe the oven off with her hands. I asked for quest while I was completing my order & never received it. So I asked the cashier if he rung me ok for it & he had no idea what I was talking about. He then asked this manager for a cup of it & she LITERALLY threw it at him!!! I then advised I wanted my moms already ruined nachos remade & that I didnt appreciate her attitude. From her position in front of the toppings this woman who has NO BUSINESS in ANY customer facing role then threw the boxed nachos behind the cashier & into the trash. When I asked for the store manager I was given his card. The manager on duty then felt it pertinent to tell me "you can tell him whatever you want". Again her behavior was disgusting & completely unacceptable. I will be leaving negative reviews on every single solitary social media & media outlet possible. As a previous grocery store manager I'm well aware of what kind of attitude one must have to be successful as well as how you're supposed to treat customers. This woman's was obscene. I will be letting every single person I know not to visit this location if they will have to deal with the lack of customer service I did. Willy's came through my social media feed, and I was excited to see they are nearby to me, and the offerings looked promising. I'm happy to say that everything about my first experience was indeed awesome. The menu is fairly simple, and includes some enticing choices. I had 2 ground beef tacos with chips and dips. Everything tasted so fresh, and I was also glad to see that gluten-free, Paleo, Keto and other dietary options (note: their "Goal Bowl") are featured, since I need to avoid gluten; the chips and taco shells are made from corn. Many other places don't make the effort to know about the ingredients to answer the patron's questions. The staff here were the most helpful I've seen in quite some time; they're able to answer all the questions about the walk-up line, options & ingredients for the uninitiated. Their guacamole is the freshest I've eaten, outside of homemade, and I likewise loved the cheese dip, chipotle medium salsa and habanero medium salsa. Thanks, Willy's! Although the name would suggest a pornography shop, this is a really good spot to eat. It reminds me of a place called Tijuana Flats that used to be in GA, but sadly is no more.
