If you want to come drink wine in large crowds, then this is the place for you. I think this place is a good place to come meet people, however if you want a real winery experience, I suggest you visit another winery down the street. We arrived and walked into the main building to use the restroom. Nice and clean restrooms, located towards the back area. It was difficult to get a table, and once we did the waitress did not bother to take our order or ask if we us if we have any questions. I would understand if she was busy attending others, but she was standing mingling with the customers next to us for a solid 20 mins, nothing wrong with being friendly and talking but be mindful. This winery is family friendly, people of all ages. You will see babies in car seats, strollers, children running around, the young and older crowds. My ideal experience of a winery is wine tasting in a calm and serene atmosphere. We did purchase some bottles, but I'll be drinking them at home. read more

This is a bad review for the bad customer service from an employee by the name of Patricia! Description: white, female, 50-60 year-old, small built, medium size hair, dark reddish-brown hair. Located on second to last bar before you exit towards the vineyard. On Saturday, December 21st, 2024, a party of 30+ was there to celebrate our friend's 37th birthday! During my 3rd serving on my wine tasting card I asked Patricia to let me try the Coconut flavor wine. She rudely said we do have that and walked away... by this time she had served 5 of my other friends and they all waited for me and witness her rude behavior. I tried to get Patricia's attention several times and she refused to give me eye contact I than asked her when she was near, are you out as in this station or all stations? Also, there was 2 coconut flavor options are you out on both? No response... so I waited patiently at this point as I watched her tend to at least 3-4 other people yet failing to give me eye contact and avoiding my area, at a certain point I shouted "whenever you're ready!" My party was frustrated at this point because instead of Patricia focusing on giving me more details and making suggestions on what's another option or a similar choice, she's just literally ignored me for a good 5-7 mins or perhaps longer. When Patricia FINALLY decided to tend to me she did it with disgust and with an attitude as if I was a bother to her... hmmm At this point birthday boy told her why are you being rude to my friend!? She then denied her behavior and said no, got nervous and walked away. I then asked her what's your name as she did not have a name tag. I was so excited to be there as my boss a wine member recommended I tried the Almond flavor wine as Wilson Creek Winery is the only winery that carries it! So, I couldn't wait to try it and come back after the holidays to share my experience! (Which by the way I loved the Gold Medal Winner Almond Sparkling Wine!) My absolute favorite out of the 6 wine tastings. In conclusion I don't know if Patricia was discriminating me against my sex, age or nationality or all 3. What Patricia could have done differently was make recommendations on a similar wine flavor or just given me eye contact because her body language was speaking louder than words! This is very pretty winery, it is nice to walk through and look around. The tastings are not free, and the wine is quite expensive. We sat down to lunch in their restaurant, opting out of their overpriced tastings. We ordered a red blend that was very nice. I ordered the Salmon/Bacon sandwich with the Tabbouleh for my side, husband had the Reuben, friends had the burger, and a Cobb salad. My sandwich was fresh and tasty, the tabbouleh was the worse I've ever had. Completely flavorless. Our server was sweet, yet very forgetful. He needed at least three reminders to get anything done. Headed to Temecula for a couple days in need of relaxation and wine. Wilson Creek Winery was highly recommended by several friends and colleagues. My friend and I arrived on a Monday afternoon and it was not busy. We were greeted immediately as we entered the wine tasting room. Our server, Rebekah was amazing! I love reds and there were a couple bold reds that I enjoyed and bought a couple bottles. My friend on the other hand loves sweet wine so he did all whites and sparking wine. He enjoyed several (all sparkling) and bought a couple bottles as well. The ambiance was nice and outside looked beautiful. However, we were warned a swarm of bees was outside and to sit outside at our own risk. We passed so we didn't try their food or enjoy the sun and wine outside. I love coming to Wilson Creek. The winery is beautiful and their wines are delicious. I'm a club member so I stopped in today to pick up my 12 bottles of wine. The ladies up front, who organized my box, were very nice. Then a nice gentleman by the name of Brian helped carry my box of wines to my car. As we were walking and talking, he noticed I was missing a bottle. He innocently joked and asked if I had already drank one and I told him I hadn't. So he sat the box down and said "let's make sure you have everything you're suppose to have" and he checked my receipt to find that I was missing a bottle of Syrah. He then said "let me go get that bottle for you. I'd hate for you to leave with anything less than what you bought". Super nice guy. I was extremely thankful as I didn't even think twice to check that the girls up front had done their job properly. I always assume the best in people and didn't even think about counting my bottles. First time at a winery in Temecula and had a great time! It was super busy on a Saturday when we arrived around 1pm (as one would expect), so it was hard to find a table. Plus it was super hot, so everyone was trying to get a shady table. (don't forget sunscreen!!!) Thankfully they have coolers with water all around. With some patience, we were able to snag a table under the canopies. A few in my group went and bought some bottles to share, our favorite was the Almond. We also got the Peach Bellini which was pretty sweet (not our fave). We also got a wine slushy that has red wine, it was refreshing on a hot day but strong. We got some snacks to share like a charcuterie and chips and dip. Wish we could have gotten more substantial food. Overall, a great winery to visit and hang with friends in Temecula. read more

Wine is good ambiance not bad. Security negligence is at a high. I was never a threat nor did I cause a scene. An acquaintance was asked to leave I was unaware and thought we were being asked to leave because they were closing. Upon my speculation "security" got upset and became threatening, dominant and overpowering. Due to words exchanged I was man handled by white security guard Knepper in addition to RJ, Chris and Kim. I was a member at Wilson creek never caused a disturbance or issue. This place embarrassed me, public humiliated me, caused PTSD, robbed me of so much joy and in return tried to accuse me of threats after they caused bodily harm to me and prevented me from getting into my car after "demanding me to leave" I asked them to call the cops , Wilson creek never did that is until I was home and then arrested from my own home due "witnesses" stating I was a threat The witnesses were Wilson Creek's negligent, rookie, unprofessional, RACSIT, security guards". As a local, I don't usually do winery tours but we were celebrating a birthday so we booked a tour. Best experience ever having Motor City Mike as our tour guide. My boyfriend and I brought my dad and his girlfriend from out of town because his girlfriend hasn't been to a winery before so this was a great first time for her. She speaks mostly Spanish so we asked if there was a bartender who was bilingual that way we could give her the whole experience and thankfully they did! For my first time in Temecula, this was our first stop. The grounds are spacious with tables and seats across the grounds. Since it was a Friday, the outdoor area was not too busy. We had a group of 8 and wanted to do some wine tastings since a friend was a member. One of the employees went around looking for seats for us by leading us upstairs and then back down. This was a bit troublesome since I was handicapped, but at least there was an elevator. We ended up their patio area downstairs where we were able to go in and out for our tastings. Don't you hate being a club member then going to taste and getting a stingy 1 oz pour?! Not Wilson, they take care of you. Service up in the member room has been excellent. Isle (sp?) is amazing!! Gosh we love her. She's great. She's always there and so nice. For the most part we like their reds. We're in the reserve reds club. The only one we didn't like is the Lopez Ranch Zinfandel, it was a big disappointment and we actually poured it out after trying a couple glasses. Their 2016 estate zin was better and great. Disclaimer: make no mistake - I love Wilson Creek. The owners are benevolent and kind folks who have completely brought beauty and light to the Temecula Valley. That being said...today I happily picked up my case of sparkling wine as I have done for close to 10 years as a wine club member. I always get the sparkling wines - not only do I enjoy them in my home, I often give them out as gifts. But today was an aberration of the normally excellent customer service. I do not go out very often to Wilson Creek ... but I did today to pick up the above referenced case of sparkling wines. I received a tasting card and went over to get a single pour rather than 6 tastings. To my dismay I received a 1/4 glass instead of the single pour which is at least 1/2 filled normally. I inquired of John, the man behind the counter, " this is a single pour?" With not an apologetic tone of regret...he off handedly replied "yeah". His attitude was blase and completely not anywhere near to customer service tone, that is a hallmark of Wilson Creek Winery.
