Sunday beers and a live band on the Delta.... I'm game!! Cool spot, fun regulars, cool open bar downstairs. Parking is limited. I'll be back.

Great food for there brunch but they charge you $38 dollars a person and they want that money before you sit there was five of use $190 dollars than at the end they bought me a bill for $12 for a tea coffee and soda I was fine with the $38 a person but the drink charge makes me mad

My cousin and I stopped nearby to see her mom who was visiting a friend in town. The friend recommended Wimpy's and told us that it was on the water. When you drive up the bar looks like a shack near the water, what you find when you actually arrive is a gem. We entered through the door and were greeted by the host with some menus. As we were walking up, we had noticed a sanded beach area much like a Jimmy Buffet song. We proceeded to order our food; I ordered the chicken tacos, she the steak tacos and we split the loaded cheese fries. Her mom- ordered a chicken caesar salad. After we ordered our food we went outside to post op on the beachy vibed area along the water. As we walked down we discovered there was an outside bar to which we can order drinks, Drinks were ordered- the outside bar is cash only. Our food came father quickly; the tacos were the perfect size- three in each order. The loaded fries were super cheesy and perfect for sharing. The other people in our party had ordered their food shortly after we did- and were just getting it when we had completed our meal. Overall the food was good, the service is very laid back. While enjoying the outside area; we also had a conversation with the owner. He and his wife came into ownership not too long ago- they have set the outside area up for concerts. They are hoping to get some bands in there and keep the vibe going. Jerry and Nancy were their names; they imported the sand from Monterey and also brought in some tropical plants from their own home to dress the beachy vibes of the outdoor area. If you are looking for good food, some laid back vibes, and a place near the water- look no further! Welcome to margaritaville 2.0!

Nice table if you wanna get out of the heat.

First time here yesterday as we rode in on the Harley's and we had a great experience. From the waitress to the bar nothing but super nice workers. Food was good, I had the cheese steak sandwich which was really good. Food came out hot. We will definitely be back.

Funky old place on the river in the Delta. Relaxed atmosphere, homey. Patti melt was good. Staff friendly.

Call me biased, because I grew up in the Delta, but there is just nothing like Delta people.

Walking into the bar and grill, you can see the many dollars tacked onto the ceiling and the nostalgic background behind the bar of days gone by, which usually plays host to local farmers, boaters, and tourists in the area. My sister and I decided to take a scenic drive along the Sacramento River and recalled our dad's stories of hanging out at Al's after a day of fishing the river and how the place really "hit the spot!" We pulled up and parked on the narrow little street and walked into this well-known place with the smell of garlic French bread wafting into the air and locals sitting at the bar. We were taken into a small back dining area and given the menu. I ordered the infamous steak sandwich, while my sister ordered the Al's burger, and my husband ordered the fish tacos. The plates were quickly brought out to us and were very generous portions. The steak sandwich was so tasty and big, I was only able to eat about a fourth of it along with the delicious onion rings that came with it. My husband demolished the 3 fish tacos and french fries, and my sister managed to eat about half of her burger. We will definitely be back.
