The (ugly) color I got today versus the beautiful color I had last time and wanted again.

Got Gel-X nails with Mai in early October. She did a great job finding the exact color I wanted and making the nail length and shape to my liking. However, the nails were not glued on properly as my hair would get caught in the base of nail and water would lodge in there. Today I got those nails removed and wanted a regular gel manicure. My experience with the nail tech Kathy was the worst I've ever had. She was clearly in a distracted, irritable state (although the place was near empty). She appeared to argue with her coworkers and was making phone calls while doing my nails. This prolonged the whole process and wasted my time. I told the nail tech (Kathy) that I wanted the exact same color as the last time I was there with Mai. She not only did NOT find the color, but she made a lazy effort to look for it when I complained and she got agitated with me and raised her voice. We settled on a color that was really NOT what I wanted but the closest from the options she gave me. I was VERY clearly disappointed with the color she picked and said so directly. Kathy was unfazed by my frustration and proceeded with the manicure. The color is not at all what I wanted and I am so frustrated that I paid $45 for this. Kathy made no attempt to fix the problem. Not only was the color wrong but she did a poor job cutting my nails, leaving one index finger longer than the other. When I pointed this out she said "I asked if you like this length and you said yes." As if liking the length means it's ok to have one be noticeably longer than the other.... Moreover, Kathy over relies on acetone and had my full hands soaking in it for 30 minutes. Most other places only soak the nail in acetone to avoid skin irritation. My skin in fact did get irritated and my fingers swelled up. Overall, I had an okay experience the first time I came and a really frustrating, bad experience the second time. I do like Mai and Jenny so I may be back in the future but I am very irritated with Kathy and her lack of professionalism.

I love this place so much I almost didn't want to share it because they'll get even busier.. but naturally I'm not a gatekeeper so here goes.. If you want your nails done right this is your place. I've come 3 times now, and they have done a great job consistently. I came in with expectations and slight worries due to my past disappointments at other nail spas, but this place isn't one of those.. they Know what they're doing and are highly skilled. I'm so impressed with their artistic capabilities and their craft. My nails always look fabulous when I pay them a visit. I recommend bringing in a picture or a TikTok clip to show your nail artist.

Still a great spot for pedicures, manicures, and wax. My wife and daughter still find the quality of their services very high. My wife showed up today Friday as a walk-in around 1:30 pm. No waiting. Very helpful ladies working here. Great experience again! Chill vibe!

I honestly feel so lucky to have found this nail salon through a referral! I've been to a lot of places, but this one is different. Emma, the owner, is absolutely incredible. She's so kind, welcoming, and just radiates positivity. No matter how bad my nails look when I walk in (I've had some disasters), she somehow always manages to work her magic and make them look perfect. Highly recommend!!

I had a gel manicure and pedicure with Dawn last Tuesday. I give 2 stars because the salon itself is nice and appears clean. I came here because I was in a bind and couldn't get in with my regular salon. Within 24 hours of having nails done I was getting chips. The gel is way to thin. The massage was pretty much just putting lotion on my legs and hands, maybe 2 minutes , very brief ... The whole process was not worth the money I was charged! ! Lesson learned! Stick to a good nail salon when you have it! read more

I needed a pedicure but couldn't go to my regular place in Tustin, Ritz Nails so I went on my lunch and I wasn't impressed. First she cut me trying to get an ingrown nail. Worst pedicure of my life! I left with sticky legs and chopped nails. I will never come back after today. I asked to cut short but she cut them so short she cut into my skin. When I asked them to smooth the choppy nails out they told me "too short". My legs are sticking together because the honey like product they put on them was not removed properly. FML this is not acceptable paid $40 for a crap job. read more

Came to Win Nails Spa to take advantage of their grand opening 20% off. They did a great job on my pedicure. Tubs were lined with plastic and I was given my nail file and buffer to keep and bring back next time. It's very clean and relaxing. I was even given a cookie and offered a refreshment. Had such a great experience, I came back the next day with my daughter to get a manicure. Again, same great service. Normal prices were the same as other local salons. I just moved to California and was in need of a new nail spa. The first thing I noticed was that the shop was pretty and CLEAN! All the techs were super friendly and they offered chocolates and beverages. They really do make you feel pampered here. I love my gel mani and pedi and the prices are great! Went in yesterday after work without an appointment. I asked if they had time for me to get a new set, and was seated right away. I neglected to get the name of my nail technician, but she did a wonderful job! The moment I knew I had to leave a review is when she removed my acrylics. Unlike so many other nail salons where they file down and pry them off (ouch), she soaked my nails and filed the acrylics down completely. I don't mind that it takes extra time, it is so worth it to not have to go through the pain of prying them off. Plus, this is much better for your nails. Soaking nails in acetone probably isn't the best thing for your nails, but believe me, cosmetically it is much less damaging. She really did an excellent job covering my nails completely with gel, and shaping. I would recommend bringing cash to tip. They do allow you tip on the receipt, but I know they appreciate cash tips. read more

I have been to many different nail salons and although all of them to do a good job I have to say that we're nails spa has by far impressed me. Not only do they do a great job but they take their time and pay great attention to detail. The women in there are very friendly it's very clean and sanitized and if it was a very relaxing environment. I would highly recommend checking them out. The prices are very reasonable and I say that because the work that they leave you walking out the door is outstanding. read more

Wanted to love it. I got a fill and pedicure with design which cost $77 after 20% off (a pedicure with design and a fill with glitter would have been $92 without the 20% off). Yikes! When I asked why it was so much I was told that there is an extra charge to remove acrylic, which I was not told at the time and did not ask for ( literally the lady just started to take my old acrylics off without asking me), I was also told that there is an extra charge for glitter on your acrylic, which I also was not told. So, instead of being $25 my acrylic fill was $40. I feel like as a customer I should have been told about any extra charge. On the plus side, they do offer you water and chocolates while you wait, which I think is really great. I personally would not return because the cost is too high, higher than most, and I feel taken advantage of as a customer. read more

This was my go-to spot for months, maybe a year. It got super busy and took 3 hours sometimes. Staff are very accommodating and aim to please. I just think they are too busy now. With an appointment you still wait. When salons are super busy, your nails are rushed and quality isn't 100%. When it's slow, not enough staff and wait takes a long time. Too bad. So I've been coming here for a little over a year. I've tried other nail salons off and on just to compare, but I keep coming back here because nothing else really compares. I mean you know you've become a regular when the ladies ask about your boyfriend and tell you how cute he is. LOVE everybody here. I've never had a bad experience. Everyone always goes above and beyond my expectations. Bi-weekly mani/pedi's are really the only way I ever spoil myself, and these ladies always make me feel spoiled. 12 stars and then some! read more

My mom and I used to come here frequently but they are a bit pricey for their quality of work. Helen was my go to nail tech and she's phenomenal. She does great work and takes her time. Dawn, the owner, is also very talent especially with acrylics. The main reason I stopped going to them was because there always seemed to be drama at their shop. It's suppose to be a relaxing experience but we were constantly caught in their drama. I might try them again in the future but some of their techs don't seem to care as much and do a poor job and they still over charge... read more

I'm visiting from NYC, and I usually just get my nails done before travel, but my nails were a mess and desperately needed some TLC! I stopped by this place, and it's AHmazing!! Being from the Big Apple, I'm not used to the customer service... the people are super nice and hospitable! They offered me a beverage and handed me some magazines while I waited. The nail tech that I had did such an awesome job! She was so thorough while cleaning up my cuticles, and I think this is the BEST polish job I've ever had! If I lived around here, I would definitely be a standing client! HIGHLY recommended :) It's going to be very hard to meet my new expectations when I go back to NYC next week. (Ugh... I love this nail salon. Not going to lie to you - I started going here because I read the sign incorrectly thinking I was getting 'Wine' and my nails done, but that's definitely not the case. LOL. Even though they don't have 'wine', they do an awesome job. My experience has always been pleasant, they aren't pushy, the salon is extremely clean, my nails look awesome for 2-3 weeks at a time, and I very much enjoy my conversation with the employees every time I go. I highly recommend this salon! You won't be disappointed. read more

I went in today and they did an amazing job. Nails were beautifully done, I've never had my nails done this beautiful. Can't stress that enough. Great nails and they definitely are perfectionists. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because 1. I got a mani pedi, and I was cut 3 times. Two on my feet and 1 on my hand (and no, I don't have rough skin) . And 2. They really really insisted on up selling me .. I get times are tough bc of COVID so that's why I didn't really fight it. But they definitely took advantage of me being nice. Guess that fault is definitely 50/50 because I should've been stern with my choice read more

We were warmly greeted and offered a menu of beautifully curated beverages to choose from along with two books of nail polish options. We were seated shortly after, and the massage chairs were very clean and comfortable. All the massage button options worked perfectly as well. Tuan was my nail tech today and was also our bartender. He's funny and awesome. We all enjoyed our spa pedis, the lovely service, and the appeal of it all. Everything looked brand new, was very clean, and the salon is well maintained. I love the beautiful emerald green velvet seating area to the left when you walk in. The salon and the services offered were thoughtfully designed- a clean appeal with pops of emerald green and simple but catchy wall decor and a beautiful and eye-catching display of nail polishes. I'm so happy I found this spot on Yelp, and I look forward to many more visits ahead. I figured they know it's not going to be fast, since it's 2 different services, but one of the ladies was rushing the entire time and seemed pretty frantic about the time and was running around, getting her things. They also, didn't do the massage and didn't acknowledge that it is a part the service, which was obviously disappointing.
