It's a great spot for anyone looking for healthier, convenient meal options. The prices are a bit on the higher side, but I think the quality and variety make it worth it. The store was clean, organized, and well-stocked. I stopped by around 12:30 PM on a Wednesday, and even during lunchtime, checkout was quick and hassle-free. Overall, a great place for fresh, healthy food with lots of choices.

With our health conditions and the need to follow strict dietary guidelines, finding a grocery store that truly meets our needs can be challenging. Barons has exceeded our expectations. Every healthy product we've purchased has been fresh, delicious, and high quality. They offer an impressive selection of gluten-free, vegan, and other specialty foods that are often difficult to find elsewhere. It's become our go-to place for healthier eating without sacrificing flavor. The store itself is always clean, well-organized, and easy to shop. I also appreciate the convenience of having options to heat up prepared meals while you're there. On top of that, every staff member we've encountered has been genuinely friendly, welcoming, and happy to help. If you're looking for a market with outstanding healthy food options, exceptional customer service, and a pleasant shopping experience, I highly recommend Barons Market. We're so glad we discovered it!

In the half hour we were in the store walking around, we were greeted by one employee. No one is at the service desk until 10 AM, nobody in your floral department to help because she walked off chatting with a friend when we walked up and no acknowledgement. Prices are insane, a case of high noon was priced regularly at $32.99 and I bought two paltry bouquets of flowers for $30. You have so much to choose from but their preassembled mixed bouquets always look like they are on their last leg. Came home to unwrap them and the flowers started breaking off the stems. Disappointing quality and service today!

They charge higher for products you can get far cheaper elsewhere. Take for instance Campbells Chunky Soup. $5, sometimes $6 a can? Delusional. Practically any other store would charge lower. Their cereal prices are also absurdly bad. Also they finally stopped printing an extra 1/4 sized receipt after the main receipt is done printing at self check out. It was a small thing but it was super annoying and a waste, thanks for stopping that. I didn't put this in the good or bad section because I know it has nothing to do with this specific location, and is a corporate issue. The Bad: This location has only one usable exit. The two entrances are one-way. You forgot a cart? Too bad, the alarm starts screaming. I'd be less annoyed with this if the only usable exit didn't have solicitors harassing me about their stupid political petition. They have been there almost every time I've gone for the past few months. That alone makes me not want to come back here. Shoppers should be able to perform their errands without having persistent jerks parked outside all day ready to spring on you with their political agenda. Yes I can ignore them, and I do, but the fact that Alberstsons allows them to be there makes it feel like they truly don't care about your shopping experience, and that they endorse their political agenda. I don't know what political side it is and I don't care, I shouldn't have to deal with that, and neither should you. On top of that, the one usable exit is behind all the cash registers, which means its extra congested and awkward. There's hardly any room to exit if you have a cart. No planning for traffic whatsoever.

Sprouts, sprouts, SPROUTS! If I were asked to select one…read moregrocery store for all of my needs, this is it hands-down. I sort of think of it as a more sophisticated TJ's. The service is very special and unique. The stores are always clean and well stocked. There isn't a lot of useless items or extra added depth of similar product. I mean, how many blueberry jams do you really need? Hot sauce in a bottle? I think a 3 or 4 options is probably sufficient. It's succinct, to the point, and uncluttered and easy to navigate. I really dig the produce cause it's always attractive and I look for the sale items. I prefer the USA items as opposed to imported so I pay attention to the labels. I also have signed up for specials and accumulative points for discounts, which is very easy to do and it keeps you in the loop. Each time you buy your groceries, have your barcode scanned to keep a record. I keep it in my phone with easy access. You will also NOT encounter five or six different prices on each item like some of the big chain stores practice! You know, those HUGE conglomerates! I've had to walk out of those stores cause I'm so confused. Internet price, member price, E price, ad price, radio price, TV price, buy 6 unit price, etc. etc. etc. : Every time I pick up a can of beans I'm looking for Bob Barker in aisle seven! This would even confuse a veteran of " THE PRICE IS RIGHT"! The bakery goods are a nice delight, and if you get there early in the morning you might find some half price items that didn't sell the day before. There's also a sandwich shop and I'm told you can get a sandwich as low as $5.00? I'm not sure if that's true. I've never done it, but that's what some folks have told me. So, you might have to check for yourself. There are those bulk bins for nuts, coffee, candies, dried fruit, and more by the pound $. There's a limited beer section but nicely curated along with a decent selection of wines. This is one area that needs improvement in my opinion. It would be nice if there was more of a beer selection and the ability to buy any single can? I believe this works and they'll always sell out anyway. Or maybe they don't want to dedicate the space? They also have a meat department, (which I stay away from) but those who do partake would enjoy I'm sure. (I refer to these areas as animal cemeteries.) I look for a lot of the vegetarian items such as plant based desserts, and faux dairy items that are actually plant based. Ie: plant butter (which is delicious) and coconut milk for example (my favorite when it comes to something to pour on your granola). There is a frozen sorbet brand they carry, "GELATO BOY" that often times goes on sale that is absolutely fantastic. I really enjoy the "3BERRY" or the "MANGO". Keep an eye out for the sale price as it's almost half price when it does go on sale! The canned beans and corn are a good value and on sale today at 4 cans for 5$! I try to buy the unsalted ones which are so good for burritos. You can find fresh flowers daily to bring to your sweetheart or maybe if you're looking for one? There are an amazing amount of coffee beans in nice plexiglass bins sold by the pound with a commercial grinder available to "chop it up" to save you the trouble at home. Parking is always accessible, and there are other intriguing businesses in this little "mini mall" over there off of Newport. If you haven't been, get on over there! Or, if you are a regular go more often to accumulate your di$count points. Be sure to say "hello" to the friendly, charming, efficient, young lady that mostly works as a cashier with purple hair and her name is Kennedy with a "C" and she's a great ambassador of Sprouts!

I'm in this Vons almost daily, I have been a loyal Safeway/ Vons shopper for decades. I don't shop here blindly tossing into my cart whatever I want. This store has some pretty crazy mark ups and THATS HOW THE GETCHA! I shop the deals. The other crazy negative is the Must By 4 or Must Buy 3 Or the Must Buy2 These do not mix and match with each other and can be quite confusing when trying to fill the obligation to get the deal. Soda pop is so much worse with the must by * and get * free these changes weekly and who can drink that much soda plus the price is marked up to account for the free product, it's rarely a deal. I just skip the soda isle. Lets go around the store starting at the Deli and Bakery, The Deli is ok but I often get chicken thighs instead of the promised and paid for breasts. The clerks play dumb, watch them closely. The Bakery has produced many EXCELLENT birthday cakes over the years only Costco can compete and This Vons is better so keep special occasion cakes in mind. Next is cheese and eggs and if you get the deals, you are doing ok, I don't drink milk so Meat is next. don't expect to find the sale items here as they often sell out immediately and usually not restocked until the sale ends. don't expect that Famous Safeway smile here either, these guys are grouchy, really grouchy. Produce takes you around the corner and it's just fine, they have what you must buy. Smack dab down the middle is the liquor row. sometimes there are big bargains to be had so it's always worth the stroll. An assistant manager named David no longer works there, he was amazing, I fear he was replaced by ***** who runs the place like its her own corner bodega and you're a group of 14-year-old kids with back packs and skateboards, she can hold her ground, though she is often wrong. Forget about the "price guarantee" I think they would rather take the sign down, grill it with some bbq sauce, and eat it before offering up said guarantee. Tracy is cool but always seems over worked and Tom the Store Director just makes it look easy with quick hellos and genuine handshakes. That's my Vons, love it or hate it its what I have, what is comfortable, and merely steps from home.
