After 4 different estimates, the lowest was Window World which was substantially lower than the highest estimate so in some ways I was a bit worried about workmanship, quality, customer service etc...I talked to my friend who is a contractor and he has done some major work on my home, he said Window World's estimate was better than he could offer me and that I should go for it. So now my guest house has beautiful new windows installed by Hector who was a pleasure to work with and he arrived 5 minutes before his scheduled arrival time window (8am to 10am). There is absolutely no issues to report, I'm really happy. Customer service is on the ball and it really feels like they want me to be completely satisfied, not sure if its a family business but I feel like that's the type of personal service I was getting unlike a huge corporation where I'd just be a customer #! i purchased all my windows and sliding doors from Window World 9 years ago. Just recently my sliding door tracks were wobbly and the locks were also loose. I contacted Window World to see what my warranty included Glennie answered with the most pleasant professional attitude, she said I YOU have a LIFETIME WARRANTY (of course I didn't remember that) I was so excited as you can imagine but figured once they came here they surely will add an additional cost. To my surprise NO ADDITIONAL COST! Salvador came dressed neatly in a Window World shirt with a smile on his face and went to work....Everything was completed in a timely fashion Salvador reminded me that they do everything for your windows including replacing screens! This is responding to the business owner Karyn B. Your comment just shows the integrity of your business (none) First off you have never once contacted me. I have spoke to everyone but you. As a business owner you would think and should have contacted me with all the problems I had and is still having with this window. What do you mean on your dime? You ruined my house by ripping out the frame it's a standard slider your people measured wrong and also they didn't caulk any of the windows what kind of professional workmanship is that when you put windows in a persons home are you not suppose to caulk the outside of the window? Like I said in my previous comment the slider window sits crooked my neighbor pointed that out. Yes you had to come out 10 times because of your incompetent workers. Last month your worker (Sal) came out all he did was take pictures. I had to cut up spongy foam and paper towels and shove them in the top of the window so that I don't get massive air coming in. What are you going to do about that? It does not keep the cold nor the heat out? Everything in my comment is true I could probably list another five more things. I guess what I'm going to have to do is go to the BBB since my statue of limitation has run out to sue you. What I want to do is pull out the window and take a loss and buy one from American vision windows but I can't even do that because you're lead Larry said there's no way I'm going to be able to pull that window out because it's full of caulking since the window is too big they filled it up with caulking and I would end up ripping up my house if I pull it out so now I'm stuck with this window. Also I never signed anything then I was satisfied with the service are you sure you don't have me mixed up with someone else? Like I said the last time your worker (Sal) was here he took pictures and left and I never heard from your company since. Going with your company is a big heartache and it's draining me emotionally. Like I said in my previous comment thank goodness I canceled the rest of my home and went with American vision windows never a problem with those windows and they're beautiful they're nice and thick glass and they open up with a push of a finger. I had a bay window and two sliders installed almost a year ago. There were a few details left unfinished, and Sal Gutierrez arrived today to complete these issues. I needed a strike plate installed so the upstairs screen door could be locked and a finishing piece between the carpet and door frame installed. Not only did he do a fantastic job with both situations, but I compared his work to the downstairs sliding door finishing piece and Sal's was an A+. He said when he comes back in a week or two that he will replace that piece. Also, I had ordered two new screens for my bay windows because my dogs had caused some damage during the first week after they were installed. Sal, put in new mesh for my current frames, so now I will have two sets of bay window screens. Sal clearly went above and beyond my expectations! Kudos to Window World for hiring such a conscientious employee! :) read more

The price was the best (by a lot) - and throughout the whole process we experienced outstanding competency and communication. There were always checks, follow-ups - things happened exactly on time, exactly on budget. After a while we thought the windows were a little hard to slide open/closed . . This is the lousiest business I have ever dealt with in my entire life. When I was looking over the contract I asked the sales person Anthony I wanted a screen door pet protector on my sliding screen door. He agreed to get one ordered for us. Know he's denying that he ever said that well I tell you he's a liar and I believe he just wanted to make a sale and he sure suckered me in. Just had a glass slider patio door installed, and the entire process earned this 5-star rating. The salesperson, Brian, was nice to deal with and there was no pushy sign-a-contract-right-now sales approach, just information. The price was the lowest of the 5 quotes I obtained. The installers, Roberto, Daniel, and Ivan did a great job - the door looks great, the wood molding was well done, and the exterior was well caulked. They put drop cloths on the furniture and floor in the room where they were working, and cleaned everything up when they were finished. I definitely recommend Window World to anyone looking for a patio door. read more

Oh boy where to start. It was a long and painful process. Started out there sales rep coming out and telling us our windows would look a certain way (the way we wanted them to look) and they did not. Had issues with them cutting out some wood that was not supposed to be cutout, they broke drywall, stucco and more drywall and more stucco. Eventually dealt with the owner Karyn, wow what a person. Has no clue what is going on, you can tell she is of the "MONEY MONEY" only type person. She being the owner did offer to fix all the damages but only after I had to let her know that this matter would end up in court (which it would have gone to). But she wanted to do it on her schedule not mine even though it was there mistakes not mine. Again the court word came out and after about 45 mins, and after she told me "she could not adjust the schedule (the owner, really?) she finally got some one out here (mind you about a week later after the initial installation). Lost out on some money that I had spent because I wanted to take the kids out for spring break. This all happened over a weeks worth of time and MANY MANY phone calls and a few times they came out with a promise from their office to "FIX" everything but did not fix anything, due to it being "TOO LATE", or some other excuse. I spoke to Karyn about a discount to make up my loss of $$ due to their mistake (them having to come out and fix what they messed up and we not being able to go anywhere), she laughed and said "I'll give you $100". I guess to some people family time is worth $100. I trusted this company and decided to let them do our windows (big mistake), when we decided to do our windows we had a vision on how we wanted them done and what our house would look like. The vision was destroyed and while they may have "COVERED UP" their mistakes with baseboards and stucco, the house is not what we imagined it to be. So this office is owned and run by Karyn and her husband....never heard a word from her husband.....not only did we not get our $$ we also never received an apology, even though they admitted to their mistakes many times. Big projects like this are rare due to their price tags, so its a pretty big deal to us. So would I recommend them??....nope unless you want a massive headache, and have time to be dealing with Karyn over MANY MANY phone calls. As part of the "welcome to the window world family" you get a paper that states "can you keep a secret? we hope not". So this honest review is per their request, I do not normally write reviews unless asked to do so. You will find that when working with Karyn she says that she is "confused" ALOT. Related to comments below from Karyn. And as far as meeting on Saturday at 5....your office told me to give them a time and date since they could not clean up their mess on Friday and they would come out and fix it, and so I did give them Saturady at 5 and NOTHING got fixed. We have lives Karyn I am sorry my life does not revolve around your business, it is not my fault your company can't keep promises. Her comments below prove she rather fight with customers rather than make things right, she will do it over the phone and now on yelp. Thanks WINDOW WORLD for the free headaches. we have had a horrible experience with Window World orange county for almost a year. we ordered windows and a front door last October and was told it would take 12 to 14 weeks which we understood. 14 weeks passed with no word from them, we had to call them constantly with no response to find where our items were. several weeks after the original date they finally came but without our door. we got little response on when our door would arrive and then several months after our lack luster windows were installed our door came and it was the wrong screen door. now we are in a waiting game of when our correct door will come in without any response from them if we didn't call them all the time. its not our fault you got the order wrong but now we are being punished for it. we can't have our front door open during super hot days without getting bit up by buys. and the real kicker we got a bill for a product they haven't finished yet and we have no choice but to pay it according to the boss Eli. he says corporate won't do anything and to us its just horrible customer service with windows that have gaps in them that let in more bugs. so now we are paying a bill for a product and service that is no where near worth it. read more
