As a business owner myself, I know how powerful Yelp reviews can be so I think very hard before writing a negative one. I have been trying for ALMOST 3 WEEKS - since my first phone call on 1/17 - to get in touch with someone about working with Fleetwood re the leaks in our house. We are now in the middle of our second rain storm, we still have leaks, and I'm concerned about mold. I've heard every excuse--my message didn't get passed on, the person who deals with repairs was out sick, etc. I've been promised multiple times that I'd get a return phone call by the end of the day only to never hear back. We have a large house and spent an enormous amount of money on these windows and I cannot believe the service I'm (not) receiving. Even the smallest customer shouldn't be treated this way. I've avoided escalating to Fleetwood corporate but today had no choice. read more

So I asked them to send a rep to get a rough estimate on how much it would cost. After about 2 hours of consulting, the rep finally gave us the price tag. If you are in need of new or replacement windows, this is the company you want. I called and Assaf was there that night to give us a quote. When we made the decision to use them, he came out with an installer to double check the measurements and ordered our windows. On installation day, they were total professionals and clean. Assaf was there the whole time to make sure I was happy and Ben came out to check on the progress. There was one screen, I didn't notice but Assaf did, that was a little wavy and called the window company to come out and replace because it wasn't to his standards. I am extremely pleased with the windows and French doors that Windows N Things installed for me. Assaf was extremely patient in explaining the different options. The quote came in quite lower than the quote that I received from Home Depot and from Sears. And when Tony came to install the windows and doors, he was extremely professional and actually left my home cleaner than when he showed up!! . I am so pleased with my decision to have Windows N Things replace my old windows with new vinyl replacements. Assaf did such an amazing job of demonstrating to me the different types of windows they carry and what the advantages were to each brand. I felt like I was making a very informed decision. Assaf said it would take about 3 to 4 weeks to have the windows installed. Within a few days Tony came to take measurements. What a kind and thoughtful man who really takes pride in his work. A few days later I got a call saying the windows were ready - a full two weeks ahead of schedule. The installation was as smooth as Assaf said it would be. Tony and his co-worker were here and gone before I even knew it. The first thing I noticed about the windows was how quiet the whole house was. Then next day, with the sun pouring into my office, usually the hottest room in the house, I noticed how comfortable the room was. I also noticed that the AC, which usually cycles on and off frequently, had barely come on. When you get double paned windows with the argon gas and low E glass, you hope it will make a difference and I can very enthusiastically say that it does. Communications went primarily through email and response time was adequate to fast. They put a bit together within 24 hours. Unfortunately, the bid we received from the store was higher than other Milgard dealers. Since they came recommended from one of our contractors, they were provided the opportunity to match the lowest bid we received, however they chose not to do so. read more

I am very pleased with the quality of windows we got and with the process at Windows N' Things. I did not do my "due diligence" in the price department so cannot comment on how competitive the prices are or are not (what we chose was not an inexpensive option), but the sales people were friendly, knowledgeable, and fast (yes, speed is indeed a good thing when it comes to dealing with me). We went to the showroom first, and then had a follow up in our home. Everything was done accurately and quickly. Appointment times were met (big plus) and the half day installation we were quoted was actually an overestimate -- the actual installation took about three hours for five large windows. The work was clean and the workers left our house as clean as they found it. I can't speak to the future wear and tear of the windows, but I'm very pleased with what we have and I hope to do the rest of our house in the future. I will be back when we do.... read more

I had a couple windows replaced earlier in the year by them. Assaf was great in providing a reasonable quote and being very helpful. The installation was quick (a couple hours for a couple smaller windows) and the work area was spotless afterwards (no dust and debris left). My main qualm was that they did not arrive at the original appointment time. I was just waiting and had to call them. Their excuse was terrible. Fortunately, assaf was a big help in making sure that did not repeat. If i end up replacing my other windows, i would use them again. read more

Let me preface this by letting you know that I am the daughter of a contractor, and am very particular with whom I choose to do business. We were referred to Windows N' Things by one of our contractors about a year ago while replacing our heating and ventilation system. Specifically, Assaf. Assaf was at our house that same day with sample windows and all the details for each one. We were able to schedule one more appointment with him to finalize our window choices and work out pricing. Not only was the service phenomenal, it was extremely fast, and efficient. Mind you, we live pretty far from where Windows N' Things is located, so for us, it meant a lot to us to have them come all the way out to us! The prices were very good for amazing quality Milgard windows. We've had them for about a year now, and couldn't be more satisfied with the look, effectiveness, and installation. We are now in the middle of bathroom remodels and could think of no better person to call than Assaf! He was here within a day, and we had our order and measurements put in that same day.
