Grumpy's is a casual place with a big bar, two dining areas and stage. We loved our food. I had the tuna poke appetizer and a grouper Reuben sandwich. Excellent! My wife had a chicken sandwich and side Caesar salad which received her approval (which ain't easy). The band was wonderful to listen to as we ate in the front dining area. Grumpy's seems to have something going on almost every night. Open Mike night on Wednesdays hosted by my friend Peggy Silvestri. Some kind of poker night. Other musical entertainment. Very fun. They also have Grumpy hour drink specials until 6:00 pm, which is probably more happy than grumpy, but I love the name. We already plan to go back again soon. Lenora is a world class talent (literally) who is doing her part to ignite the local economy.

First off the amber ale was so cold and refreshing. It was definitely what we wanted and at the perfect tone for our meal. The Korean BBQ wings were phenomenal! They were sweet and savory and piping hot. Our table literally fought over who would get the last one lol! The shrimp tacos were my personal favorite. They were garlicky and light and yet so filling. I didn't try the sliders but my boyfriend ate them all up and said he could have easily ordered more so I'm gonna say they were a hit. The bartender who took our order and servers couldn't have been nicer! They even wished us a safe flight and genuinely cared about how we enjoyed our meal. The place itself is also really cool and would be a fun place to hang out.
