I walked into the Fairfield store location inside the Solano Mall today 4/4/24 around 4:30 P.M. and immediately made contact with either one of the employees who was I mid conversation with the other employee standing behind the counter. She basically looked at me and looked away and continued her conversation with the other employee. No greeting at all from either of them. I continue to look through one rack thinking they would still at least stop and ask if I needed any help. I was completely wrong. Instead they continued their conversation and I could literally type the conversation that had no choice of hearing because they were so involved in conversation. My daughter use to work at this location so I was taken back a little with the customer service because I've always had great experiences at that location. I continued to look for what I went to look for but also no interaction AT all from either one of them. I was very disappointed in my visit today. read more

They have a great selection of clothing, shoes and accessories. Usually I can pop into their store if I can't find something online or want to try on a product for sizing. However, their return policy for in-store products is ridiculous, they only give you 14 days. What is the point of offering a convenience of in-store returns for online purchases if you're going to cut the return window down to half the time? Their clothing is also very overpriced for the materials and quality used, so those are the drawbacks I have with Windsor. read more

10/13/20 So I don't even know where to start because I'm super appalled with the customer service and the awful experiences I've had at the Fairfield Solano Mall Windsor.... I've been shopping a lot online in general due to COVID-19, and limit my exposure to the public as much as I can- only go out when essential and necessary. Whenever I shop online with Windsor I drop a pretty penny online because of the fashion focus trends, quality, price point, and promos so I justify my purchases as such.... A bit about me, so this makes this post that much more substantial coming from someone who is from the fashion industry with Over 10 years of upper management; so I know what it's like to give exceptional customer EXPERIENCES, in addition to being very accommodating and flexible within reason when it come to dealing with anything from employees to customer experiences, and issues. This issue I'm dealing with makes my blood boil even more due to the economic state that we're in due to COVID-19 and businesses shutting down, I would think that a store manager would be accommodating to any request, within reason. Let's move forward to my unacceptable experiences starting from my first initial experience on 6/20/29. 6/20/20 The first experience I had with a Windsor free standing store was on 6/20/20- I was so excited due to there being a Re-Opening from the shutdown/ quarantine and purchased about $70 worth of clothing. My issue isn't with the Sunvalley location- it is with the Fairfield Solano Mall. Because I am a Windsor VIP customer I get emails every time there are promos, etc. So I saw that at Solano Mall they were Re-Opening on 6/23/20- with 20%off, so why not get the price adjustment of 20%? Anyhow, I remember going there not sure which day- but the Store Manager Andrea was the MOST RUDE, UN-EMPATHETIC, Non- Personable manager I have ever met. I asked her to please adjust for me and she made every excuse not to. Her first reason she just flat out told me she couldn't because it was from a different store. Than she told me she couldn't because the computer wouldn't let her. Mind you, to put this all in perspective that she's being this in-willing and unhelpful in front of employees and customer alike, so she's making me feel VERY UNCOMFORTABLE, and UNWELCOME... I couldn't wrap my head around what she was telling me so I kindly asked if there was a DM, I can speak to and at that point she was willing to call another store with another manager named Amanda... I believe she told me to go to the Roseville, or Folsom location. At the time I was living in Davis, CA so didn't mind. We made arrangements to get a price adjustment that Sunday, since Andrea at the Fairfield mall did not know how, or just simply did not want to. I'm thinking in my head I can't believe I have to make an additional trip to another location since I was there. I wasn't able to go to the mentioned locations and went to Fairfield on6/29 because it was the most convenient location for me- she was SUPER RUDE and gave me attitude the whole time doing the Price Adjustment.... Fast forward 10/13/20 I purchased well over $150 of combined purchases for the fall sale online which was 30% off. The 2 dresses I purchased was not my size and I was just thinking I could go to the closest location which was Solano Mall for me today, and guess who was there. Andrea the Store Manager. I honestly wanted to not deal with her, but like I said in the beginning I really limit the amount of time I am in the public and as a HUMAN, what power does she have other than her negative attitude to not let me enter the store. I kindly asked Kalia to do an exchange for the same exact= item just in a different size and she said her manager (Andrea) said NO it's Final Sale. I told her it said from the website Policy final sale was 40% off and I had only received 30% off unworn with tags attached literally just delivered to my home yesterday... She than told me to just return it online- OR her manager said I can return it and pay the difference. Now any consumer, which is everyone would wonder, "Why would I pay full price/ or pay a difference for something I received at a discounted rate?" I didn't want to argue; I had other items I was going to purchase but because of the attitude and awful service and Experience I was receiving I simply just left. I literally only wrote this review not only because I think that the way they treat customers/ humans in general is UN FAIR and UNACCEPTABLE, but also because I NEVER want anyone in the same position I'm in to ever go thru this ill-mannered experience. It simply is appalling and unacceptable. I honestly believe they need better training and need to know that especially at this time of COVID-19 businesses are going under and with this attitude I dont know how much longer this business will be around if this is the continuous service and experiences customers go thru. read more

On March 15, I ordered a few things from the online store being as it's definitely time consuming and gas guzzling to drive the 50+ miles to the Fairfield store and back to pick up a few items that may or may not be in store, but not all of it had come as I had expected, with that being said, here's my second review: I came back to this specific store on March 18 to return some items I ordered online. Nothing defective, it just wasn't what I thought it'd be. I was a little hesitant and nervous about coming into the store this particular day as I wasn't sure how an online purchase to a store return would work out and I didn't want my 2 hour trip here to be in vain. However, I braced myself for the worst, just in case. Smoothest transaction I've ever had. I came in, was greeted practically immediately by a friendly face (of a woman whom I totally forgot to ask the name of, sorry!) and was then asked if I needed any help. I said no, as I was getting a tad bit nervous and wasn't quite sure if it would be an easy transaction. On top of that, I really do hate bothering workers for help on small things I should be able to do myself. None the less, she told me if did end up needing help later, for anything, to not be hesitant in asking her for help -she watched me as I continued my walk towards the back. It wasn't the way one would feel like if they're being watched rather, it genuinely felt like she wanted to help me. My boyfriend even noted how he could tell that the workers genuinely care (which is a big deal since he's usually quite oblivious to things of this nature). My last review had stated that Shannon was the friendliest and most helpful retailer I've ever come across? Scratch that, not in a negative light; I'd like to add in an addendum: * Shannon and Antonicha have literally topped the charts for any customer service I've ever received. Why? Their consistent friendliness and service in which I always receive when I come down (I believe this is my 4th time coming in and I had made a few phone calls to the store previously for other inquiries). With my nerves kicking into high gear as I approached the front, I awaited an employee to help, as I could see they were all helping other customers -I was in no rush. Within a few seconds, I was greeted by a kind employee who told me she would call someone else to do my return as she wasn't capable of doing so. Antonicha was the one who came to the register to help me, friendly face and warm greeting. My nerves started to drop a little as I explained the reason for return. She was understanding and asked for the receipt / paper that came with my package. I passed it to her, within seconds the return was smooth and I didn't have any problem -at all. I always think about the amount of gas and time I'm consuming for my trips here. Then I remember the kind of service I get at this particular Windsor store and compare it to the service I recieved at other Windsor stores and then I remember, it's all for not. The interaction and effort I receive from workers here (especially from Shannon and Antonicha) here makes the time consumption all worthwhile -I have yet to find another store that matches their customer service and extra effort. read more

I came into Windsor with 10 minutes to spare to find an outfit for my birthday there was a Retail clerk name Andrea that was able to help me find the perfect outfit for me to celebrate my birthday in Bodega Bay. I was so grateful that she had so much style and knowledge of what to put together for me in under 5 minutes for that I am grateful that I was able to accomplish what I came for in a short and timely matter thank you again Andrea. read more

Terrible customer service. I just bought a dress less than a week ago the policy that day was I HAD 14 days to return with receipt not worn no receipt same just store credit. Today all signs are gone the "manager on duty" basically said since she's didn't know how I paid for it I would lose the difference of the new dress which was $15. She reworded it like I was slow but changing policies is ridiculous and treating every customer as of they are a thief is a quick way to lose my business I will NEVER shop in this terrible store again !!!!!! read more

I am a Macys and Nordstrom shopper and we have three group homes for young women and I happen to stop by Windsor because I seen a sign that said $7 sale. Going to return today, but I noticed has been 18 days since purchased and now I can't return for a refund? Wow! That is a short turn around time! Not parent friendly for sure. Terrible customer service. Called to see if they had an item or could order it they wouldn't even assist me over the phone so I had to drive 45 mins away for them to not have the item. They told me they can call another store but the store had to have at least 10 in stock to ship to me. Then the I would have to pay $7.99 for shipping I then asked could they waive it since the person over the phone wasted my time they told me they would email the district mgr to waive the fee. After about a week and half I receive a call the shoes are in drive another 45 mins to find out the mgr never sent the district mgr the first email and that I had to pay for shipping. I was contacted in messages after putting my review, and I was offered a 25% discount because they "value" their customers. I asked if I could use that discount online and I was told that it only works at the Fairfield or Concord locations and basically that I needed to show that message. Why would I go back to where I was mistreated not once but twice? And why would I drive all the way to Concord? Not only that but, why would I show the message? I'm sure their employees would not know what the discount was about and they would have to look through the messages. That's so unprofessional. Would love to give this store a higher rating but I bought a dress yesterday and I was so excited that it was on sale that I didn't notice that the cashier left the sensor on! I was waiting inline at the cashier and all the associates looked at me and ignore me for several minutes. Then one of the sales associates was rude towards me. She tossed my item at me when she said I couldn't return it. Also a heads up, items cannot be refunded if the tag is taken off, even with a receipt and within 14 days. These sales girls were awesome! So my daughter bought a beautiful prom dress here. Tag says seasonal promotion no returns. As soon as she tries it on at home the zipper breaks! I'm freaking out. Prom is in 8 days. She's in love with this dress but no way are they going to exchange it. But they did! Thankfully they had the same dress in the same size!!! Crisis averted! They understood it was defective. I wonder if they can explain that phenomenon to Macy's?! I will definitely let my daughter shop here more often. I usually love this location but the store manager is very unprofessional, Epiphany is her name. She ordered me a tunic online and when I received it, it was too big, as well as the tunic was not as grey. I removed the tags and wore it for a few hours and realized it was just too big on me and the color was bothering me. I went to go exchange it the next day and she laughed at me saying she couldn't return it because I wore it and the tags were off. Which I completely understand, but it's how she went about the process laughing and then grabbing the return policy. One thing you will NOT do to me is make a fool out of me! Being the manager she could've handled the situation better by just apologizing and telling me unfortunately I cannot return the shirt. I took the shirt to the Arden Fair location, the girl didn't even ask me questions!! She exchanged it for me (I bought a pencil skirt) AND then she ordered me one size smaller in the tunic! Worst service I have had at a Windsor. I had bought 2 items about a week ago but changed my mind so I went to return them. I asked one of the girls for help and she said that she could not but the lady up front could and that she would go get her and to wait at the counter. I stood at the counter for 10 minutes waiting for her, she was not helping anyone she was just standing there making me wait so I finally asked my self. Once she was doing the return she told me that she could not do the return because I had WORN IT OUT and IT WAS STRETCHED, which it was not I only tried it on in the store. She preceded to tell me that she will do this return but she will not do another one if I try to come back and return!!! I have never had this problem at a Windsor before!!!!!! read more

Beautiful clothing, terrible customer service. At other stores like forever21 when you ask them a question they help you with latest fashion trends etc. this place the girls working here hate their job, it shows when you ask them for advice and they just brush you off. I double checked with management to see if they were any better before I left, they were even worse. Light skinned manager lady just brushed me off and made it seem like she was too busy, even after i asked to try something on for her to ask her opinion on it. They aren't helpful at all, and I almost didn't buy the outfit because of their bad customer service. I've spent a lot of money at this place and during these hard times I'd appreciate a little customer service, not asking for too much. I purchased a dress without having tried it on first (my fault). I got home and weeks later before my event, decided to try it on to show my husband. To my surprise, there was a strange stain on my dress that was VERY apparent! I wasn't sure if it was within the time frame for return/exchange but I needed to at least try. On Nov. 9th 2016, I called in this Windsor store before showing up just in case they weren't willing to help. The manager was genuinely polite over the phone and assured me she would assist me until I was happy. When I got there, the Manager Shannon (I believe that's her name), took her time to help me pick out several other dresses to try on as well as provide me with high heels to try on with my dresses and accessories for with 'winning' dress. I was pleasantly surprised with her willingness to help at such a last minute! I will definitely be going back to purchase any other dresses I may need in the future! read more

Bought a dress and a few other things one day. Swiped my credit card and before signing asked "wait! Do you have military discount?" The manager who was the one ringing me up was not enthused with having to cancel the transaction and restart and tried to get me out as quickly as possible by saying "..It's only 10%." COOL. 10% means I would have saved 10 dollars on my 100 dollar purchase. Then the decoration on the dress started falling off the night of my event and I had no choice but to wear it anyway because I was already heading out the door. I called customer service a couple days later and a lady told me that I could ship it back (with my own money of course) for a refund. I told her I didn't have the tags on the dress because I took them off minutes before the dress started falling apart. She told me that was fine. I sent it back TWO months ago and have called customer service now 5 times wondering when I'll get my money back. I think they keep hoping I'll forget and give it up. I'm honestly just pissed by now. Some people told me they might not be able to give me a refund due to no tags. One lady told me it has taken them so long that they will just refund me.... that was weeks ago and have still not received my refund or at least my purchased dress back. This place has cheap clothes and I've had a horrendous experience with customer service. They will never get any of my money again. read more

Not too long ago I decided to shop at the Windsor in Fairfield because I could not stand the mess and service near where I live, the Sacramento location. About a few weeks ago I came in and was greeted by this young lady with colored hair who seemed to be super overwhelmed and very busy. As I am looking around, I notice that this same young lady is running around back and forth throughout the entire store helping anyone and everyone she could! She was busting her ass off! After awhile I realized that she wasn't the only worker in the store. There was another girl who I guess was the head manager, was behind the computer the entire time! Mind you, I was in the store for quite some time mesmerized by their collection of dresses. But as a manager myself, I was not okay with this. There was another girl in the store, but she just looked extremely sick so I understand why she wasn't running around like ONE of her colleagues. I ended up being helped by the wonderful young lady who was working extremely hard and I told her she was doing a great job because I knew she deserved to hear it. If it weren't for her, I would absolutely give this location a lower rating. And I have to say this store is a lot more organized and cleaner than the Sacramento Windsor. I never caught the gal's name, but I wish I did so I can commend her for her outstanding service alone. I will only come back for her. read more
