Ran across Windy City after riding the gandola. Pleasantly surprised. We ordered a 16 inch traditional and a salad which fed our family for four. The pizza was fantastic. The bottom of the crust was crispy while the top stayed soft. They use good cheese that has the clear grease. Plenty of toppings. The lettuce and vegetables in the salad were fresh. Staff was friendly and helpful. Throw in a Coke, and we had a great overall lunch experience for about $20 less than grabbing a non-fastfood burger. read more

What a surprise and hidden gem in Breck. Located in shopping plaza next to the city market, I happened to be visiting during their happy hour and got bruschetta for $6 and a huge slice of New York style cheese pizza for $3.50. Crusts were just right crispy and not overwhelming cheeses. I had a sad snowboarding day on a slush with this winter and was just sore everywhere and their food were very comforting. What a bargain for dining in Breck. I have gone to very expensive restaurants in Breck and this will be definitely a return place for our next visits. Really friendly service here, and they have some decent happy hour prices, but the food just didn't cut it for me. Sorry... I ordered plain wings - plain b/c I don't like wings heavily sauced - and a slice of pepperoni pizza. I love chicken wings and I'm used to them being fried up crispy then doused with sauce or a dry rub. These were a beige color - and were cooked, they just didn't have that delicious appeal I was looking for. I ate one - and left the rest. I would've thought one of the servers would have taken note of the entire plate of uneaten wings. The pizza was fine - I was so hungry after an exhausting day of travel that it hit the spot. Some people may love it: I would describe the crust as dense & chewy. I was excited to check out this pizza place. I'm from Chicago originally and was looking forward to a deep dish pizza. Where do I even start. The deep dish sausage pizza came out. Not only wasn't it even close to a real deep dish pizza it was cold. How could that be out of the oven? The topping was pizza sauce with tiny bits of sausage.
