Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! This hotel is awesome! My wife planned a little get away for my birthday weekend and chose this place to stay. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by the lady at the reservation desk and both people working at the bar. We were greeted with a glass of champagne! The hotel smelled clean and fresh. The room was spacious, clean and welcoming. The shower was huge! The room had a gift basket with snacks and a hand written note thanking us for staying there. Complimentary continental breakfast served in the bar area. Fresh fruit, yogurt, muffins and pastries. Everyone we came in contact with was friendly and nice. Oh and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is walking distance to several restaurants and a brewery with yummy beers. Close to Santa Maria for wine tasting and other towns to explore! We cannot wait to return. We just spent two nights here and the place could not be cuter or more customer friendly. The staff was fantastic - did not meet one crabby individual. The snack basket in the room was a nice addition, as was the discovery of free water and soda machines. Finally. Happy hour at the hotel with free wine every day was very lovely. A lovely place. Beautiful both outside and in. The rooms themselves feel warm and cozy but also stylish, and were a steal for the price, in my opinion. Front desk was polite and attentive when we arrived and when we checked out, and they also helped us get a hold of a couple items we completely forgot in the room when we did check out. My husband and I came across this little gem on Yelp, when we were traveling from Orange County!! We had a lovely stay! Last night we got in a little after 6pm where they extended the guest complementary bar hours for us (normally from 5-6pm)! 2 rounds on them with snacks, it was perfect after our long drive! Then we walked the little town to the steak house! We had a great meal at Far Western Tavern, where the staff was nice and friendly!! Wow! I mean, wow! When I first heard there was going to be an Inn opening up in Old Orcutt, I didn't know what to expect. But let me tell you, it's beautiful! The grand opening isn't until Sunday the 27th, but it is open now! We stopped in to just check it out and grab a glass of wine, and I was blown away. First off, they have this awesome little outdoor patio as you walk in. Then you are greeted by amazing staff and you can either check in to a room or just go to the bar for a drink! They have an amazing wine list as well as local beers. Also snacks! You get a complimentary dish of olives, cheese and nuts as well as the option to purchase a cheeseboard, charcuterie board, or salsa trio! The bar ambiance is amazing! Super relaxed and the service was beyond great! Just a little inside note... they offer free wine and beer from 5-7 if you are staying there! The rooms are luxurious! 55 inch TVs in every room along with complimentary snacks and waters! Upstairs rooms even have balconies to sit out on and relax with a glass of wine and enjoy the view! Oh! They also have a private "basement" style area that has its own private bar that you can rent out! Otherwise, it is exclusive to guests of the inn only. The BEST. Everything was absolutely top notch. Zee checked us in and could not have been sweeter. The room was stunning...so many little touches that really made a difference. There was a great Mexican food truck outside when we pulled up...so nice not to have to go out to dinner after a long drive. The bed was so comfortable and we slept so well. Breakfast was great...and the coffee was amazing. We weren't in town long enough to enjoy the restaurants but the town looks so sweet. We will be back! :) read more

I LOVE THIS LITTLE INN! It's in a cute area called "Old Town". Great service, great decor; such a cute little cozy and homey inn, but still very modern. Becca at the front desk was kind and warm when we checked in and throughout our whole stay. We got complimentary champagne upon our arrival, & they left a cute handwritten note with our name on it in our room, along with a welcome basket. During their 5-7 happy hour the bartender was kind and quick! We had a great drink called the sweet escape and a complimentary cheese plate! Will be coming back here! read more

The hotel itself has a wine bar that also offers local draft beers in a very nice setting. The hotel rooms are beautiful & spacious. Comfortably beds, large bathroom, big TV and decent outdoor patio that overlooks the mountains nearby. We have never been to this area before and we were only here for one night on a short visit. A little bummed we were not able to explore the area and local wineries. We only stayed one night but fell in love with this hotel and this town. Hoping to come back again. read more

This a great place. Very quiet on a Sunday night. I highly recommend it, friendly staff, nice gift basket, champagne, and modern ammentities and a nice view of the mountains. Arrival with a glass of champagne was noteworthy, as was the generous manager's reception with multiple craft beers on tap, wines and more champagne if you wanted. Snacks at the manager's reception and in our room were very tasty as well - it is so nice to have things given to you at a hotel and not be charged for every single item! My wife and I stayed at this wonderful hotel for one night on June 10th on our way to San Francisco from Phoenix. A most relaxing experience from the champagne greeting on arrival , a wonderful Happy Hour from 4-6 , a snack basket in our room, and complimetary breakfast delivered to our room the next morning. The hotel was 5 star with its modern decor, large room and huge bathroom shower, the most comfotable bed and a balcony with a view of the beautiful Santa Maria valley. We have traveled to many places in the USA and Europe and I would put this wonerful hotel in our top 5. Lauren and all the staff are exceptional and helped make our stay even more memorable then it was. I have recommended this hotel to family and friends and we plan on visting there often. Completely loved our experience with Wine Stone Inn. We were traveling through the central coast area and this was one of our top hotel stays, hands down. I wish we would have stayed in the area longer just to have a few more nights at Wine Stone Inn. The building was nice enough - I was impressed to see an elevator and additional accessibility considerations, despite it being a small inn with only two floors. It was the staff and all the thoughtful little considerations that really made it outstanding. We received a glass of the sparkling wine of our choice, upon arrival. Their staff were outstanding, relaxed, friendly, and so thoughtful! The snacks and food available checked all my boxes. Even the crowd of people staying at the inn alongside us seemed to have the same laid-back, but appreciative vibe. We are already trying to sort out when we can go again. read more

I can't say enough how much I LOVED my stay here. The Wine Stone Inn exceeded my expectations, especially because it was one on the lower end cost wise for similar places in the area. First of all, Robert who was working the front desk the two days I was there was great! He had a glass of wine in my hand before I was even fully checked in, gave lots of recommendations for beaches, restaurants etc. and was just so friendly and helpful. It really was the icing on the cake after a long drive from San Diego to be greeted with such hospitality. The building aesthetic is a blend of industrial, rustic and modern. There is a bar downstairs and cozy places to sit and enjoy a glass of wine inside, and outside with a very relaxing view. The rooms are gorgeous, spacious and offer a very nice view of the hillside (my room did at least). I was surprised that I got a balcony even though I booked the most standard room! The ceilings and doorways in the room are very tall which gives it a very grand feeling which really makes you feel like you're on vacation. I loved that. On top of that, the amenities in the room were actually quite nice and you get complimentary snacks!! I'll say it again, I loved my stay so much. I will definitely be returning. read more
