Solid spot in food truck land! We were really craving wings so we ventured out here and shared a 12 piece - half lemon pepper rub & half Buffalo. The lemon pepper wings were flavorful and super crispy. Buffalo was too saucy. They also don't provide free ranch / blue cheese - paid for both sauces.

From top to bottom: Buffalo, ghost buffalo, and garlic parm.

We got the 12 wings x2 with bone in. 12 garlic parm, 6 buffalo, and 6 ghost buffalo. We also had the garlic parm fries. Buffalo sauce flavor is nice and buttery. Nice kick to all the flavors. Ghost buffalo is doable. Next time I'll try my luck with the Pele challenge which is $24 to eat 12 wings in 5 minutes. Lady at the register seemed nice. Affirmed each of my choices. For the setting, it's nice because it's a community of food trucks. In the middle are picnic tables for everyone.

Got the smash burger and fries (around $22ish give or take). It was so delicious. Recommend the lava flow drink($6ish strawberry pina colada). Had to pay for ketchup boo. It's located in a very neat spot in south Maui gardens. All the food trucks there close at 8. Overall loved the food, can't go wrong with a good burger.

Me and a friend were visiting and had come around the time they were taking a lunch, but the chef was super kind and generous to take our order early after seeing we were waiting patiently - their fries and lemon pepper wings were my personal favorite, and they make their own lemon pepper rub and it shows in how savory and tangy the wings are! - Miguel Morales Photography

Apparently there's an entire food truck area on the island that locals go to when they don't want to eat traditional Hawaiian cuisine (Loco moco, musubi, etc.) My friend took me here for lunch and I decided to eat at Wing King because I love me a good fried chicken sandwich. I enjoyed their Kīhei Heat" Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich garlic parmesan fries and the "Lava Flow" blended lemonade I had. A pretty solid flavorful lunch. Make sure you take advantage of the lunch specials they have listed on the truck!

Good basic wings. Lots of sauce to lick off your fingers. I thought the garlic parm wings were good and flavorful.

I am a sucker for wings. I could literally do wings anytime of the day lol. I got the lemon pepper wings all flats. It was amazing! So flavorful and juicy! I also got an extra wing haha which I greatly appreciated. I also sampled my friends lemon pepper French fries and oh my lord it's chefs kiss haha. I'd definitely be back to have another set of wings !

Really cool area in Kihei with a bunch of food trucks so we stopped in to grab some wings. They have a bunch of flavors and you can get them wet, dry or both. They have a spicy fire wing challenge but I will save that for someone else lol. We got the regular flavors with the garlic parm being the favorite. The wings were on the smaller side and not very crunchy. The fries were actually made very well so I recommend adding those on. The flavors do come thru and you can add that to the fries but dipping sauce is helpful. One is included but extras will cost you. All in all with the amount of food on this side of the island you won't have a hard time finding something flavorful.

I love this food truck! I ate here 3 times on my vacation in Maui. The smash burger is really good, cheesy, and I love the sauce on it!!

Hurricane fries were wonderfully crispy and the furikake and sriracha mayo complimented it perfectly! Do expect a long wait here though

He explained that he made the specials of the day while the regular menu was made inside the food truck. We were too full however tempted, and decided to go watch the sunset. But afterwards we wandered back to share a dish, and settled upon the beef special since we hadn't had any all trip. We had the smoked maminha tri-tip steak, Okinawa purple sweet potato, grilled maui onion and broccolini. Beautifully plated on real plates and silverware. No comparison to the so many common $21 food truck entrees and cost just a little more. The owner also is very sociable and enjoys talking about this food in a variety of languages with passers by and customers. On the far end from main entrance to the Kihei Food Oasis, or right at the other entrance, depending on how you enter. I wish we had found it earlier or we would have eaten there more than once!

Frank B has dined & approved of this Thai Food truck in Kihei due to orgazmic dining experience served up in a bowl. YES folks I LOVE Thai Mee Up's culinary delights so much I've stopped counting I make my way to the truck. First off the truck itself looks clean & regal especially with the giant elephant located on the roof. It looks clean , smells clean and with the giant plasma TV's show you what's about to be served you'll feel safe about your choices. Simple order process and then after 10 mins your order is called out and ready for pick. Every dish I've dined on has its own taste signature and is rapturous to the body.. My top food choices is Garlic Shrimp ,Pad Thai with Shrimp and Ribeye & Lobster. Needless to say all items are sensational for the tastes buds and the costs are extremity priced out well for your budget. Come on and try a BIG BUDGET TASTE for a low budget cost.. Maybe the shrimp, crispy pork or pad thai would be more memorable.

We went all in on the pork belly (no regrets ) and ordered the pork belly fried rice and the garlic noodles with pork belly. Both dishes were packed with flavor and super satisfying. The pork belly on the garlic noodles had that perfect crispy edge with a tender, melt-in-your-mouth center--easily the highlight. We went on a Sunday night, and the place had a fun, lively vibe. There are tables available, but it does get busy, so come with a little patience. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

The menu photo shows thick pieces of ono, and that's how they've always been served in the past. This time, the fish was paper thin and barely filled the bun. It definitely wasn't worth the price. I politely asked why the ono was so thin, and I was told, "They're sliders, that's why they're thin." I explained that I've ordered these many times before and they've never looked like this, but my concern was dismissed. I understand portions can vary, but this was a drastic difference from what I've received before. Loyal customers notice when quality and portions change. Unfortunately, after this experience, I won't be returning.

The truck itself is fun, painted with bright tropical colors and scenes, and they seem to be known for their loaded tots and bao buns. I placed my order on the touchscreen outside and then sat down to wait for my food. For lunch on this day I went with the buffalo chicken tots and the Island Piggy bao. The menu described the bao as kalua pork, BBQ sauce, tropical salsa, and pickled red onions. The buffalo chicken tots were described as buttermilk fried chicken, buffalo sauce, jack cheddar cheese, house made pickles, and ranch dressing. It took less than 10 minutes for my food to be ready and I sat down at one of the shaded picnic tables. When I opened everything up it all looked good, but I did notice that the tots were missing the house made pickles. I started with the bao and thought it was pretty good. The kalua pork was super juicy and the bao bun was light and fluffy while still holding together well. The pickled onions added a nice acidity and the tropical salsa brought good flavor. The only thing I did not notice much was the BBQ sauce. After that I dug into the tots. The tots themselves were cooked nicely with a crispy outside and soft inside. The chicken was good as well with a nice batter and the buffalo sauce added flavor while the cheese was gooey. The only thing worth noting is that the chicken was softer than expected and not very crispy. It worked since I did have the texture from the crispy tots, but it stood out. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. I would probably not order both a bao and tots again as it was a lot of food, but I would definitely come back for one or the other.

I got this both times. - the LITTLE PIGGY was good, but a little overhyped in my opinion. But good to try. - the DUCK DUCK GOAT was wildly disappointing. As you can see in the picture, all meat and almost nothing else. Maybe a few silvers of cabbage. But where's the goat cheese and the fig jam?!? We also got the ALOHA TOTS. Huge portion so that was nice. But the kalua pork was pretty watery and made the crispy tots go soggy pretty fast. Overall a solid spot. Definitely worth trying at least once.

They have lots of things, though. There was a yoga session happening in the middle lawn area. They have a butterfly area, even though the butterflies were somewhere else. There is an aging tortoise, I forget his name. There are also different businesses in the buildings, like a spa and a salon. There are different small vendors with their booths and several food trucks; although, some were not open in the morning and the Thai food truck had all their items sold out on their menu already. The prices were even more pricier than the food trucks at Maui Food Trucks. One vendor had hand crafted desserts for $20/piece! I admired from afar, haha. Everything is advertised as "farm to table" maybe justifying their prices. We shared an acai bowl and it was mid. The the peanut butter was just scraped on the side of the bowl. Our typical acai bowls at least put the peanut/almond butter in the middle like any other topping so you can get an even bite with everything. But the dallop of peanut butter just on the side, it was like we ordered peanut butter on the side of our acai bowl. It was weird. I bet it's more alive at night with more food trucks open and live music. We came and saw and didn't come back. I can see how it can be great for families with toddlers running around, giving them a safe space to burn their energy. Until then, this probably won't be the top of our list.
