My friends always talk about this place on how they go during lunchtime. So I decided to go ahead and give it a try for the first time. Let me start off by telling you as soon as I walked in the door, there was an elderly Chinese man that greeted me. It was my first time there so I went ahead and grabbed the six piece wing combo with fries. My wings were sweet and spicy flavor which had a really really nice kick of sweetness and hot at the same time. Total for my order, including a drink I paid like $13 which was not bad but I wish Ihad two more little wings. Lol The wings were good and crispy, but I just think they needed a little bit more sauce. Some of my wings were not really wet but overall the food was good and the place was clean. I tried avoiding the lunch rush so I went a little bit after 2 PM and it was just perfectnext time I'm there I'll give the tenders a try as I noticed. If I could give this place 100000 stars I would. Such a cute and sweet couple own this establishment. The man greeted my husband so excitedly and said hi!!!! How are you! It was the most heart warming and nice thing ever. When I see the owner I think of my sweet dad and grandpa. I couldn't help but tear up a bit. The wings themselves were super fresh and the flavors were amazing. We tried garlic Parmesan, honey bbq and Korean flavor. I recommend the Korean for sure. Sweet, a bit spicy and tangy like kimchi. The owner stopped by and talked with us and asked how the food was and recommended what we should try next time. I will definitely be back! read more

We went due to a craving for wings! While we love Pluckers in Dallas the wait time is long and the price is high lol. WingShack fits the bill. We ordered a 12 piece with fries and an 8 count wing combo- but NOTE THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE A DRINK. Many customers coming in had the same complaint but it is on the menu that the drink is not included. The wings were nice and wet - we did not ask for it but we do like them wet so it was all good. We had Buffalo hot which is totally tolerable nothing like Pluckers hot! The place is clean a little dim but the employees were a nice, sweet and older Asian couple. They were totally polite and strong even though the customers around were a little rough. They automatically gave us a water cup for the water pitcher on the side that had icy cold lemon water. Food was ok. Everything was piping hot and fresh, so there are no complaints there. I ordered 12 wings with rice and an egg roll. The wings were huge in size, but were breaded and once the sauce was added, were a little too soggy for my liking. The rice had chicken in it, which was nice, but it didn't have an Asian taste to it like I expected. The egg roll was the best of everything. When I first walked in I was warmly greeted by an older couple that i assume are the owners. They were very warm, friendly, and always smiling. And has a similar setup of the wing franchise that we're all familiar with. I decided to switch it up, and try a different wing place. The part of town isn't necessarily the best, as it seems to be the industrial/truck area. However the prices are reasonable for the large portions you get. The wings were amazing! If you are looking for some amazing wings, this is definitely the stop you should make. The owner is so amazing. She always has a smile on her face when you come in. We usually order our food prior to picking up because they do get busy during the lunch rush. I will say, the wait is always worth it. I have never had a bad item from this place, and the food is always hot and fresh. She always remembers her regulars, and I must say, for the price for the amount of food you get is great. I love the Cajun wings, and it is basically all we ever get, the lady at the front is always nice and remembers regular customers, we always order to go, we call ahead, which I strongly recommend to call before 11:30, because they get really busy during lunch time (around noon) and if you wait until then she will not pick up that phone..! A lot of people will Stand in line but I think is worth the wait.. It would really help if she gets help at the front, because she takes care of orders dine-in, to go, give you drinks, at the register, answers the phone, etc.. I'm tired only by looking at her go! WIng Shack is pretty much a Wingstop with more affordable prices and asian side dishes. One thing i like is that Wing Shack lightly breads their wings, giving it more crisp and crunch compared to your more traditional non-breaded wings. I ordered 8 garlic parmesan wings... I knew i was in for a treat when i could smell that parmesan stank right off the bat. Wings were expertly fried and plenty juicy. Wing Shack is locally owned by a friendly Korean ahjumma also.... At first glance, this appears to be a cheap knock off of Wing Stop. However, after eating there it's proven be a superior experience. Their wings are MUCH bigger than Wing Stop and carry all the same flavors. As a bonus, they also serve regular fried chicken (which in itself is quite tasty), catfish, chicken strips, and fried rice! I work near wing shack. I eat there maybe twice a month, and enjoy it. However, you must take this into consideration: Call ahead. If you go in during peak lunch hours, it may take you upwards for 20 minutes to get your food. The lady in the front is warm and nice, but quite slow, and there is usually a line. All of the food is made to order so it takes a long time. I have not used their bathroom so I cant' attest to its cleanliness. I've only had their fried chicken, their wings, and their chicken fingers. The best thing on their menu by far is the chicken fingers. They are out of this world delicious. The wings and the fried chicken are good. Would I eat there if I had to go out of my way to get there? Probably not. Would I eat at wing shack if it was close and convenient for me?
