I really like the local feel to the place. So far the food has been "ok" but just short of good. The burger was freshly made but didn't look like it when I removed the wrapper. It was tasty but lacked curb appeal. The patty melt had great rye bread but needed a little more toasting. It also needed more onions and less cheese. I still have hopes for Trickler's and plan to return to try a deli sandwich. They say their breakfasts are good but not sure if I will make it in there in the morning.

I still tipped $4 on a $25 order and was a bit frustrated when I was asked to come back and pay an additional $2.15 for extra bacon, because they had initially forgot to charge me and the cook had to whisper to the other worker to charge me. Sometimes you may just want to eat that charge. I wish I would have asked them to take it away from the tip that was included on my initial charge but alas.

It was good but not quite tarragon-y enough for me. The BLT, however, was very, very good. It had a little spicy kick from something; maybe the aioli??...and the bacon was that perfect combo of thick, crispy, and chewy.
